When Jane is mugged on the street for her bag, she is saved by a young woman, Jessica, who turns out to be a lot more to Jane than she first thought, which forces Jane to face her past. With a shock revelation, Jane tells Lovejoy everything about her sorrowful tale, which leaves him surprised about his friend.

Years later, Jane ponders.

This is a sort of follow up to "A Final Encounter" the idea just popped into my head and I couldn't resist writing it! It's a rather short one-shot... I do not own these characters... I just enjoy playing with them.

What happens when Jane Felsham suddenly reappears in Lovejoy's life? Takes place after the end of Lovejoy Season 6 I do not own these characters... well not Lovejoy, Lady Jane and Tinker anyway...
