The Black Sheep are facing a shortage of replacement parts for their aircraft and war correspondent Kate "K.C." Cameron finds herself swept into a caper to remedy the situation. It doesn't help that Greg won't answer any of her questions about the op and when things go awry, she finds herself one step ahead of disaster. Again.

When Casey, TJ, and Boyle overhear Jim and Lauran in the Sheep Pen their imaginations get the best of them and everyone thinks a forbidden romance is taking place on Vella La Cava between Jim and Greg's girlfriend. However, they're in for a surprise when they discover what was going on was completely innocent and Greg was in on it from the beginning.

There's strange something afoot - literally - when Sergeant Micklin finds odd things on his flight line. He holds Major Greg Boyington accountable for what he thinks is a college boy prank but it soon becomes apparent there's more to it than that. Associated Press correspondent Kate Cameron joins Greg, Micklin and the Black Sheep on a merry Halloween romp.

Shameless flirty fluff involving Greg, Kate, Meatball and a lot of women's lingerie. The narrative weaves in and out of the timeline in Chapters 1 through 7 of "Front Page News: Second Edition." Because apparently I have nothing else to do.

The Black Sheep are down to only 14 viable aircraft and Colonel Lard is trying to catch the squadron flying at less than combat status. Greg has a plan to get his hands on another bird but when things go sideways, the 214's embedded war correspondent Kate Cameron takes matters into her own hands.

A dozen years after the war, Greg and Kate Boyington are facing a crossroads in both their careers and their marriage. Greg has an idea that will take the family in a new direction but he hasn't told Kate about it. In the meantime, Kate is struggling to juggle a career as a military wife, mother and civilian journalist. Prologue to a full-length Black Sheep story to come later.

This is an alternative universe fan fiction story in which myself, my nephew, and niece are transported to Vella La Cava and the Black Sheep must help us solve a mystery back home. This is the first chapter of a Winter Story Challenge proposed by a member of the Sheep Pen, a Black Sheep fan fiction group, that I started a few years ago on Facebook. This is an alternate ending to the episode "Last One For Hutch." Sergeant John "Hutch" Hutchinson is burning the candle at both ends to keep VMF 214 in the air when Navy Nursing Corps Lieutenant Victoria Bishop walks into the middle of things on La Cava. Hutch won't deny the attraction but girls like that never give guys like him the time of day.

When Colonel Lard decides to embed a war correspondent with the 214, the results are not what he – or the Black Sheep – expected. This is a re-write of the original which was published last year. What started as a technical glitch clean-up turned into an overhaul. Hopefully the result is a better developed and more enjoyable story.

This was my entry for the story challenge I proposed for The Sheep Pen which is a Black Sheep Squadron/Baa Baa Black Sheep fan fiction writing group that I administrate on Facebook. The idea was to write a story based on or around the phrase "It's Not Supposed To Be Like This, It's Not Supposed To Happen This Way." In this story Greg's romantic dinner plans get changed by Meatball.

The 214's scrambler is broken. This was written for a group challenge to incorporate the phrase "That's not how it works! That's not how any of it works!" in a scene or short story. Enjoy a merry romp through a day with the Black Sheep and their girls.

This was a challenge issued by my fanfiction writing friends to write a chapter or story and incorporate the following lines: "That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.

It's close to Christmas on Vella La Cava, the Black Sheep are bored and feeling sorry for themselves, a pep talk from Greg, an idea from Anderson, plus some help from the nurses, Father Patrick, Sister Mary Elizabeth, and the orphans make Christmas merrier for them and the patients at the hospital as well as two young victims of an attack by the Japanese on a nearby island.

Gang aft agley - the best laid plans often go awry. This is never more evident than when the men of VMF 214 set out to celebrate Christmas Eve with their girls. Love, friendship and trust overcome everything else when plans for a romantic evening take a detour.

This is a poem that I wrote as a parody of Clement Clarke Moore's well known poem A Visit From St. Nicholas better known as Twas the Night Before Christmas. This version features the cast from the TV series Baa Baa Black Sheep/Black Sheep Squadron getting a very interesting visit from an unlikely Santa Claus.

A poem about the Black Sheep. I have written it is such a way so that the reader can decide if I am referring to the real Black Sheep squadron or the TV series, which by the way is another of my favorite TV series starring Robert Conrad.

Between the missions and non-stop black market dealing, Larry Casey already had more than he'd bargained for when he signed on with the Black Sheep. He didn't need an outspoken – and attractive – Navy nurse complicating things. Chasing skirts was fine for the other guys but his high school sweetheart would be waiting for him at the altar when he got home.

Captain Jim Gutterman didn't have much need for women beyond a good time in dark, no strings attached. When U.S. Army Sergeant Sarah Cameron showed up on Vella La Cava, he didn't see why that should change. She saw things differently.

Greg is not acting like himself and the Black Sheep are worried, as it turns out he is just missing someone very special that is no longer a part of his life and the fact that Valentine's Day is approaching doesn't help matters any. However, at a USO dance on Espritos Marcos things begin to look up, romantically, for Greg.

Major Greg Boyington and the Black Sheep have their hands full when Casey and TJ find an abandoned Asian American baby, Greg is fed up trying to get airplane parts, a test of wills nearly causes one the pilots to lose their life, plus some very strange events in the sky. It's enough to drive the average person to drink, but then the Black Sheep are already good at that.
