In 1974, at the end of a Match Game episode where Pflug and Richard Long were both panelists, Pflug said that the first work she did in television was that scene with RL, and he had been so kind to her that she wanted to give him a kiss, which she did. This is to recognize a sweet gesture.

When Jarrod receives a letter asking that he help a "Child of Barkley blood", he isn't sure he can believe it. He goes to San Francisco to learn the truth, while the rest of his family remains in Stockton for the visit of extended family. What Jarrod finds is boy named Timothy and a lot of trouble.

Jarrod is attacked in San Francisco and doesn't tell his family. But then it turns out that what he thought was a random attack, wasn't.

Victoria's children find themselves somewhere that makes no sense after they were taken from their beds in the middle of the night. This is a sequel to Haunting Memories so reading that first will make this make more sense.

Victoria's finds herself alone with memories of her missing children.
