This is the first story in my Horizon series. AU. A badly injured lady named Louise is horrified to wake up in the basement of a serial killer with no memories and no knowledge of how she got there. After she is rescued, she is forced to start a new life for herself in the small town of Haven Lake, Massachusetts.

We all know how Archie despises MIke's "freeloader" attitude of staying at the Bunkers without paying for room and board. Mike always counters that he promised Archie, that as soon as he'll graduate from college and get a job, he'll pay Archie back for everything, including interest. Mike's payoff time finally comes through.

In this episode, the Stivics go out for an evening. Archie, while babysitting for Joey, rummages through their personal documents, and discovers Mike's birth certificate, which reveals that he was actually born in New York. We will find out why the Meathead has been hiding this fact from Gloria, Edith and Archie. and how they react to his side of the story.

This is Edith's reaction to Archie's gambling and Archie's way of trying to make up for it. You can tell how much she cares for him in this even if he is frustrating.

Archie and Stephanie prepare for Edith, Gloria, and Joey to come home for Thanksgiving. All is well until a snow storm in Chigaco delays the plane. Will they make it home on time?What'll happend to dinner? And who are the special guest stars?

Mike is arrested, and taken to the 12th precinct. Archie and Maude bail him out. That's when the fun begins.

Just another story I've wrtten using a diifernt angle on how the the writers could have kept Edith in the show but not having to come out in all the episodes. More stories maybe following this one to come!
