  ManuscriptMaiden21 My friends and I use the PM system a lot to pitch ideas back and forth. I'm still getting PMs to my fanfic inbox, and I'm still getting story alerts to my email account. However, I haven't been getting any PM message alerts to my email for weeks. To try and remedy this, I started a new message thread with my friend. Even with a fresh thread, no PM alerts to my email still. It's frustrating, and I'm not quite sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated! | ManuscriptMaiden21 I actually found out the reason why by checking FF's twitter account. They've disabled PM alerts because they're combatting spam accounts. 12/24/2019 #3 |

| ManuscriptMaiden21 Look up "Fiction Press Twitter account" on Google if you'd like to check for updates on their Twitter. But you can't enable it yourself. We just have to wait for those who run the website to re-enable it. 12/24/2019 #5 |

| Reese123 Do you know how the p.m. alert is disabled does that mean the reviews are disable to so we cannot receive reviews just thought I would ask by the way I have tried to search under hurt/comfort stories but nothing seems to be coming up do you have any other advice talk soon cheers 12/28/2019 #12 |

| Reese123 I don't know if it is possible but is there a way that I can get someone to unfollowed me from my profile as I have had an author just follow me couple of minutes ago but I don't think their profile is a real profile accidentally clicked on the link and it's not there is no stories listed does that mean my account will be hacked what do I need to do 1/1 #16 |
