sean: ok basically. mandarin used to willingly be evil, then he met a girl who made him see the light. they fell in love and after marrying, they had a daughter. the mom of this girl died after giving birth sadly leaving mandarin to raise the girl himself. skeleton king took mandarin without the girl knowing and brainwashed him to what he is now. also lily told me this

mandarin: (dodges until the orb is put inside him and formless ooze separates from his body)
