Disclaimer: I do not own Now You See Me. The only thing I own is the plot, the OC's you will be introduced to, and on occasion Jack Wilder! That sexy piece of man!
Note: Ciaire's name is pronounced See-air.
"Welcome to The Eye." Dylan whispered, as he stepped onto the carousel, and disappeared.
I heard Henley gasp from beside me. I leaped over the fence, Merritt right behind me, as Henley and Daniel took the gate in instead. We all hopped on, and were met by a bright, white light. I scrunched my eyes tight, but when I opened them, I saw I was in a very different place then the carousel in Central Park.
Dylan was standing in front of us, a smile on his face as he looked at our stunned faces.
"Horsemen, welcome to Horus' Academy of Magic…" He trailed off, as he was bumped in to by someone. His head whipped around to look at the girl that just crashed into him, and to stay she was a stunner, would be an understatement.
The girl had ash blonde hair, with lighter blonde streaks, and I could see faint strands of pink and blue streaks throughout the base and top of her head. Her skin was a healthy, golden tan, and her eyes were the brightest blue that I had ever seen. Even more blue than Daniel's.
"Ciaire! Slow down!" Dylan cried at the girl. The girl whipped her head around, and flashed a pearly white smile toward him.
"Sorry Dad, but I'm late for Illusions!" She yelled back, as she raced back off in the direction she was going.
All of us Horsemen shared a look of utter confusion. Did she just call him, 'Dad'? We all looked toward Dylan, who had a sheepish look on his face.
"Anyway, Horus' Academy of Magic is where youngsters, like Ciaire go to learn how to control their unusual magical gifts and abilities. At the end of the year, one of the graduates will become the Fifth Horseman. Your job is to learn along with them, so your comeback performance, will certainly be one to remember. Good luck Horsemen. By the way, watch out for Ciaire. She's very," Dylan paused for effect, "Unique." With that, he vanished, and we were left to fend for ourselves, in a school for magic. Little did I know, the Fifth Horseman, The Angel, would be my Death.
A/N: I just had to put in Jack's Tarot Card. I just had to. So this is the preface for Humanity, and I hope you enjoy it! I should have another chapter on Wednesday! Hopefully! If I don't get called into work anymore! Hahaha! I've worked 22 and a half hours this week! OMG! I AM RICH!
