A/N: Hello, people! Thank you for the reviews!

I don't own Naruto.

I have no beta.

ENJOY! This chapter is 8,472 words long!

Jiraiya entered the Kazekage's office after gaining the permission of his red-haired man was seated behind a large desk, surrounded by paperwork that most likely pertaining to the Chunin Exams.

He looked up and the two powerful men locked gazes.

"May I help you, Jiraiya of the Sannin?"

The Gama Sennin took a deep breath, "May I request that you send for the remaining Kage for this discussion, Kazekage-dono? We have a problem." His voice lowered, "A very...big...problem."

The seriousness in his tone, prompted the man to do as he asked. An Anbu member was sent to collect the other four Kage.

In minutes, they were all seated in the Suna Council Room, each Kage with their own personal guard. Jiraiya acted as Hiruzen's in order to keep the discussion between only the ten there. They couldn't afford for this to get out yet.

After a few privacy seal were placed by Jiraiya, he began.

Jiraiya placed his hand on the table before him and faced the Kage, which were on the other side.

"I was bringing my apprentice back for the Finals and she was asking me questions about Sennin Modo. She intends to take after me and was curious. So, I entered Sennin Modo to show her a few things. Now, when you use Natural Energy, your senses are immediately sharpened and I personally, can sense chakra for miles.

I felt something while we were about fifteen kilometers from the village and it was dark. Dark and powerful. So, I sent my apprentice onward and went to check this out, because it was too close to the village for my comfort.

Now, I do not reside in Konoha because I run a spy network that watches Orochimaru's movements. A few years back, he joined a group called Akatsuki. It's full of S-Rank nukenin. Soon after he joined, we sent in a mole to spy for us. This one had to have been believed to have done something terrible in order to be granted entrance of this group.

The way to know if someone is a member of the Akatsuki, that is if you don't know the threat just by looking at them, is by their long black cloaks that are decorated with red clouds. They are a criminal organisation that is involved in everything. My spy has been giving me information for the past few years and their information was recently proven true. This person is ready to die for the mission and doesn't care if he does."

Jiraiya sighed, feeling his age catching up to him for the moment.

"Orochimaru left this group after offending some of the members with his actions, but by then I had deemed Akatsuki a more dangerous threat than my old teammate and focused more of my time spying on them and their actions.

The current members I know of are: Uchiha Itachi, Hoshigaki Kisame, Deidara the Mad Bomber, Akasuna no Sasori, Hidan of Yugakure, Kakuzu of Takigakure, Uchiha Madara and his creation Zetsu. The leader is still unknown though Itachi, whom you've all probably figured out is my mole, believes that Madara is really in control."

The looks that came over the faces of the assembled Kage, were mostly of horror. That list itself was bad enough, but adding Madara Uchiha, someone who was on par with the Shodaime Hokage and known as the best Sharingan master to ever exist, just made it worse. He was the biggest threat in that list and now they were worried.

"Itachi said they had an interest in the Jinchuuriki the last time we spoke. When I left to find this odd chakra earlier, I found out why. The green haired girl, Fu from Takigakure, was the Jinchuuriki of the Nanabi.

To the south of Sunagakure, I witnessed Deidara and Sasori taking her unconscious form away and commenting that they had finally captured the Nanabi and all that was left to capture and extract was the Ichibi, the Nibi, the Hachibi and the Kyuubi. This means that they aren't really after the Jinchuuriki, they're collecting the Biju. And I wouldn't be surprised if Madara knew how to remove Biju from Jinchuuriki, because he controlled the Kyuubi in his battle with Hashirama-sama."

Widened eyes all around and he wasn't surprised. This was a big problem.

"I expanded my sensing to a much larger scale out of curiosity and Sunagakure is surrounded by the Akatsuki. Every member I just listed is in position. Two each to the North, South, East and West.

I have a feeling that they are coming because the remaining Jinchuuriki are currently convened in Sunagakure. Even with Fu gone, there are still four here. Raikage-dono has the Nibi and Hachibi, Kazekage-dono has the Ichibi and Sensei has the Kyuubi. My guess is, that they will attack after the Jinchuuriki have all fought their battles, which makes them weaker.

This leaves five Kage, one Sannin, one Jinchuuriki that can fully transform without issue and Itachi. Madara will take a lot of people and if we're all fighting someone, who's going to deal with him? Now, I don't know how you feel about your Jinchuuriki, but if you don't care for them, then at last fight so that Madara can't get a hold of the remaining Biju. The power he'll hold if he gets them, can destroy us all."

The Gokage looked at one another and nodded simultaneously.

"We need to plan."

Naruko wrapped her arms around Kakashi's middle. "Hi! I was looking everywhere for you! Hours man, hours!"

Kakashi was happy that she had returned. Sasuke was a bit of a stick in the mud and wasn't entertaining at all. Naruko was so much better.

Naruko looked up at him and grinned. "I missed you Kakashi! Oh! Before I forget, Ero-Sennin had me go ahead of him because something happened. He looked worried and I was able to feel some foreign KI in the air. So when he comes back, I think you should talk to him and get it out of him."

Kakashi frowned. If Jiraiya-sama saw fit to investigate something, that meant it was dangerous. He'd most likely be involved later on, but for the moment, he wanted to spend some time with his little apprentice before something bad happened.

Giving her a once over, he noticed that she had tanned very dark and looked to be a little tired. But she was still all smiles for him and he couldn't help but smile in return, even if she couldn't see it.

"Ne, ne, Kakashi! Ero-Sennin taught me some Fuinjutsu and some Ninjutsu and helped me create attacks with my new blade, Kokushibyo(Black Death)."

"You named it?" he asked, interested in her decision. Simple and yet effective.

"Yeah...it took forever because I had so many choices but none of them matched."

The Genin rolled her blue eyes and sighed.

"Would You like to go for dinner or are you content for the moment?"

Naruko's smiled and grabbed his hand, "Let's go!"

Desert Space was a very large bowl and surprisingly held a lot of people. Naruko was impressed and she even liked the design of the stands.

Up on a large outcropping of rock was the Kage Stand, where the leaders of the villages were seated. Naruko waved to Jiji, who smiled in return. Jiraiya winked from beside the man's chair and Naruko stuck her tongue out at him.

Keisuke, stood before the gathered Genin, a paper in hand.

He blew the whistle around his neck and the large arena quieted. Clearing his throat, he began to speak.

"Hello, again. I am Keisuke, for those who didn't remember and I am the proctor for the Final Exam. I have some bad news for you all."

The Genin waited in confusion for him to elaborate.

"Fu of Takigakure, Miisuzuchii Hagane, and Jiboruso Tohru have been injured prior to this event and can no longer participate. They have been removed. Okaku Fuuda is nowhere to be four are no longer a part of this Exam and as such, I have completely changed the matches."

Naruko's eyes widened. Though she didn't really care all that much, she wondered how three people could get injured. Especially since that Fu girl was a Jinchuuriki and she was good!

The other Genin did not take the news very well. Only Gaara seemed to be fine with it. Actually, he didn't look like he cared at all.

Keisuke smirked, "I'm not going to apologize and I won't change my mind. I think that this is a good thing. You all trained very hard to defeat your opponents and suddenly, everything has been switched around. In real life battles, things like this will happen and you will need to alter your combat strategy immediately if you don't wish to perish. Take this as a challenge. Can you handle it? If you can't, then you will prove that you don't deserve to be a Chunin."

Naruko was smirking by the end of his explanation. It was an awesome change and she couldn't wait to see who her new opponent was! Maybe they'd be an actual challenge!

Keisuke held up the paper and said, "The matches are as follows: Hyuga Neji and Hyuga Hinata of Konohagakure. Uchiha Sasuke and Rock Lee of Konohagakure. Akimichi Choji and Nara Shikamaru of Konohagakure. Uzumaki Naruko of Konohagakure and Sabaku no Gaara of Sunagakure. Nii Yugito of Kumogakure and Kurotsuchi of Iwagakure. In that order."

Naruko and Gaara looked at one another and nodded silently. She was going to kick his ass! And it was such a good idea for her to learn how to seal Biju, because he was crazy and she didn't know what would happen.

After the Genin got an eyeful of their opponents, Keisuke motioned for them to head to the sidelines while saying, "The Hyugas will remain."

Naruko patted Hinata's back and told her to try her hardest. The girl nodded, but was still looking down. Naruko frowned and placed her hands on the girl's shoulders.

"You'll kick his ass, Hinata. Make him see that he isn't as great as he thinks and make him doubt himself by being better than what he thought you were. Put him in his place. Don't let him get you down, because in all reality, you are the stronger one."

"Really?" the Hyuga heiress asked, timidly, but finally looking Naruko in the eye.

"Believe it!"

Pale eyes widened and Hinata Hyuga suddenly underwent a change. The girl stood straighter and she nodded, eyes turning hard.

Naruko skipped over to Sasuke, who was watching her in confusion. "What was that about?" he asked.

"She needed some encouragement. And I know she's going to surprise everyone."

The Uchiha looked skeptical but shrugged when the blonde grinned.

Keisuke raised his hands, "The First Match of the Third Exam will commence. Hyuga Neji of Konohagakure against Hyuga Hinata of Konohagakure. San...ni...ichi. Hajime!"

Both Hyugas took the standard Juken pose, with one hand pushed out and the other closer to the body. Palms facing outwards.

Neji sneered, "You should just give up. Fate has already decreed me the winner."

Hinata frowned, "Fate has nothing to do with what happens here, Neji."

Neji scoffed, "Of course you would think that. But Fate has ensured that you are nothing and you will never be anything but a worthless Main Branch member."

The frown never left Hinata's face as she responded, "Fate is just an excuse for those who can't deal with the facts and hard truth of life."

A chorus of 'Oooooh' rang through the stadium and Neji snarled, charging the girl.

Naruko was on the edge of her seat as watched Hinata successfully dodge an open palm thrust and retaliate with one of her own. Neji caught her arm and moved two fingers of his other hand quickly toward it. Hinata was fast and slammed her other hand into his stomach, knocking him away.

She jumped back, giving herself space.

Neji looked shocked and Naruko couldn't help but smirk. He wasn't expecting Hinata to even land a hit and she had. Good.

Neji activated his Byakugan then and Hinata did so as well. Now it was getting serious, since Hinata proved that she wasn't just going to lie down and take his abuse. She would fight with everything she had.

Hinata reached for some kunai that she had specially prepared before hand. They were covered in explosive seals and she was going to use them to find out something.

She chucked one in her cousin's direction and then another.

Neji saw the seals and knew he couldn't dodge or catch them, so he took a stance and began to spin on the spot with a yell of, "Kaiten!"

Hinata wait for him to stop spinning before she threw two more, causing him to spin again, using the same attack.

She repeated this tactic several time until she was out of kunai. She wasn't however, out of weapons. But she was finished with what she was doing, for the moment.

"You should just give up, you'll never defeat me," Neji said after finally finishing his last Kaiten.

Hinata gave a small smile and made a Ram hand sign. "Kai!"

The kunai, which had been scattered around Neji in a circular formation, exploded.

He was thrown back, landing harshly on his side. Through the pain, he stood. "I see. You were setting me up. A pathetic plan for a Hyuga."

This caused Naruko to scoff. "The prick is just angry that she hurt him. Though that wasn't all she did."

Shikamaru, who was sitting on her right, while Sasuke was on her left, nodded. "Yeah. That move takes a lot of chakra and it needs to be expelled in a certain way. She was having him waste chakra in order to give herself a better fighting chance, since she seems to think he'll beat her either way."

The blonde nodded along with him, because it was the truth. A good idea , despite what Neji said.

Neji shook himself off, ignoring the large scrape on his left forearm. He charged the heiress and Hinata stood strong, ready to defend herself.

They traded blows, neither getting a hit in. Hinata moved to give another palm thrust, but when Neji moved to intercept it, she swept her leg out and knocked his feet out from under him. Then, she slammed her other palm into his stomach shoving him into the ground. Once again, she backed away in order to watch.

Neji stood, glaring at the girl with all his might. "I can see Fate is giving you some help, but in the end, this is just to make me stronger."

"The only fate we all share is death. Fate has nothing to do with anything else. For a prodigy Byakugan user, you're unnaturally blind, Neji. I pity you."

He did not appreciate that and closed in on her fast, attacking with ferocity. It was easy to tell that his moves were meant to kill, but luckily, they weren't landing.

Neji suddenly ducked low and took a very wide stance. Hinata's eyes widened and she jumped up while spinning her body as fast as she could. "Kaiten!"

Neji was knocked away from her, skipping across the ground like a rock on water.

Hinata landed a bit off and winced as her ankle popped. Her first successful Kaiten and she did it in midair and managed to injure herself upon landing. Great.

Neji rolled over and wiped the blood from his mouth. He wasn't expecting her to know that technique. He made a small miscalculation, that was all.

He advanced on her again and Hinata held herself together as she took the very stance Neji had just been in. Neji's eyes went wide and did the same, both clashing, fingers hitting each other as they came to a stalemate in each attack, neither gaining any ground.

When they came to a stop, Hinata turned and kicked Neji in the side, sending him sailing.

"Pathetic," he gritted out. "A Hyuga using non Juken Taijutsu. What is the beloved Main Branch coming to?" he asked rhetorically in a snarky tone.

Hinata sighed, "Neji, you may blame and hate me for what happened to your father, but at least be grateful in knowing that he loved you, because I don't receive that from my father. He hates me."

The arena was silent and Neji looked bewildered. "What?!" he hissed.

The girl nodded. "Because I'm 'too nice', they stopped giving me lessons around five years ago. Everything I know now, I learned on my own observations and intuition. And father plans to make Hanabi the Head of the clan, not me. So, your ideas of me being worshipped and given everything I want are wrong, because no one in the Main Branch, not even my little sister, likes me. They said I was a hopeless case and that I couldn't make it as a ninja or learn Juken and just now, in front of these people, I have proven them wrong. The seal may say that you are meant to be a slave, but you can prove it wrong. You can make your own decisions. And if father uses it when he shouldn't, then he's a poor leader."

Neji was gaping as he thought about what she said. Strangely, he couldn't disagree with her talk of their treatment of her, because now as he thought of it, the Main Branch all treated her terribly. Worse them him, a Side Branch member.

He didn't know that they were planning on making Hanabi the Head. Truthfully, she was worse than Hinata, because she was a brat and was perfect example of a stuck up Main Branch member.

Neji was feeling some guilt now. Though he was still angry over their past, he wasn't as angered, now that his eyes had been opened to some important things.

For some reason, he didn't feel like killing her any longer. She made some sense. If they gave up on her and she proved them wrong, then could he really defy his fate? Was it possible?

Hinata stood defiantly before him, chin held high. No trace of timidity in her. She was a completely different person than what he was used to seeing. She was changed.

He had much to think about later.

"I think about what you have said. For now, we should finish this."

Hinata smiled and nodded. The two Genin ran at each other and Juken was utilized to the maximum.

Finally, they both landed open palm thrusts to the other's chest and fell over. Neither moved.

Keisuke looked between them and coughed. "This match is a double knockout!"

Naruko sighed, "At least she proved herself. And I think she made him see something important, so that's good."

Both Genin were removed by Medical Ninja and Keisuke called Sasuke and Lee up.

As the two prepared for battle, Naruko was looking around the stadium. She frowned.

"Hey Shika?"

"Mah."

"Is it me, or are there a lot of Anbu surrounding the arena?"

The lazy Nara sat up a little straighter and looked around with her. True enough, they were everywhere.

"Strange," he mumbled. There were over thirty-five of them scattered about the place. A closer look around and he spotted their Jonin Sensei. Asuma looked tense, which wasn't good.

"Does your Sensei look worried to you? I can't tell because I'm not used to him, but I can tell that Asuma is uncomfortable."

Naruko frowned but looked to where he was staring and true enough, Kakashi was out of his element. He didn't even have Icha Icha out and his hands were hanging by his sides. He physically looked calm, but she knew him well enough to know that he was tense and expecting something bad.

"Something is going on. The Jonin all looked ready to attack at the smallest sign of trouble. I wonder if this has anything to do with yesterday."

Shikamaru turned to her sharply, "What?"

Naruko elaborated, "Ero-Sennin and I were returning to the village and he suddenly told me to go on ahead and that it was important. I couldn't sense much, but I felt some bad KI and Ero-Sennin had looked worried."

Shikamaru sat there, hunched over as he placed his fingers together in some sort of pose. Naruko didn't know what he was doing, s he turned to see how Sasuke and Lee were doing, witnessing a sickening kick to Sasuke's solar plexus.

"I don't think his Sharingan is helping him all that much," she mumbled.

"I got it!"

She jumped and looked over at he unusually attentive Nara, whose eyes were wide now.

"They are literally expecting something dangerous to happen, especially if you sensed hostile chakra outside the village and your Sensei went to check it out. It would also explain why everyone is so tense."

Her eyes bulged and she gave everything a once over. Damn, just the time for this shit to happen.

"We should end our battle fast, if we want to help then."

"I don't want to help."

Naruko sent him a glare and he flinched, "Fine."

Sasuke hurled a fireball at Lee, who was moving too fast to be affected. And then Sasuke vanished, to the normal eye.

Thanks to Naruko's training, she could still see both just fine, but most wouldn't even be able to catch up. She was shocked that Sasuke managed that amount of speed in only a month, since she knew that he wasn't moving that fast a month ago.

Shikamaru yawned and laid on the bench. "Wake me when my match comes."

She rolled her eyes and watched as Lee launched Sasuke into the air and used his Omote Renge on the Uchiha. She winced, wondering if said duckass was going to be getting up after that.

He did! Shocking, because that looked like it hurt like hell, really.

Sasuke attacked with some kunai and ninja wire, managing to get Lee to jump. He then used another fireball, but Lee's Sensei was Kakashi's rival and there was no way he didn't learn how to dodge such attacks while in mid-air, right?

Right! Lee managed to twist himself around.

"LEE! TAKE THEM OFF!"

Naruko snickered as Gai's voice rang through the stadium. Sasuke was fucked.

Lee nodded and jumped back, pulling up his legwarmers and unhooking his weights. Sasuke scoffed, "What'll that do?"

Lee smiled and tossed them behind him, not reacting when they left a six-foot deep crater in the rock that held the Kage Stand.

"Now, I can move freely!"

Sasuke had no chance. Never really did either. Lee was just better and faster in Taijutsu. And if his opponent was too fast to be hit with any Ninjutsu, they that was useless as well. And Naruko knew full well that Sasuke couldn't really do Genjutsu, much like her.

The Uchiha still got up though, even though he was getting his ass beaten.

Lee sighed heavily and placed his arms in a crisscross formation in front of his chest.

"If I must...KYUMON...KAI!"

Lee's body started to glow with a green light.

"SEIMON...KAI!"

His skin turned a deep shade of red as the power outlet increased.

"SHOMON...KAI!"

Lee shot off, too fast for even Naruko to see, but she was able to keep up with the blurs of black and green as Lee turned Sasuke into his own personal ping-pong ball, all over the air in the arena.

Finally, Sasuke was planted into the ground and he didn't move. Lee landed not too far off, the effects wearing off on his and he stumbled slightly, but stayed upright.

Keisuke looked at Sasuke and sighed. "Winner by knockout, Rock Lee of Konohagakure!"

Lee gave a cheer and turned around to find his weights. After applying them, he bowed to the proctor and ventured over to Naruko, who was grinning hugely.

"He wasn't fast enough. I could barely keep up with you when you activated the gates."

He smiled, "Thank you for your kind words! Nara-san, you are next!"

Shikamaru, whom had been giving Lee the devil eye for waking him up with his loud voice, rolled over and pulled himself up. "Fine."

Lee took his place.

Naruko looked around the stadium and spotted someone she never thought she'd see. Giving Lee a reason to why she had to go, she Shunshined(something Kakashi had recently taught her to do with her fire and lightning) and appeared, sitting on a railing in front of the person.

"You're the Legendary Medic, right?" she asked.

Tsunade Senju, the only female member of the Densetsu no Sannin, stared up at her.

The big breasted woman's eyes narrowed. "Why?"

"I know you like to gamble and I have a bet."

Amber eyes widened and the woman at a little straighter, "Talk."

Naruko nodded, "Okay, I win my battle, you owe me a favor. You win and I have ten million Ryo that I received for defeating an A-Rank shinobi a while back. I have yet to use it and I will give it to you if I lose."

Tsunade looked skeptical, "What's the favor?"

"My friend Shikamaru, the one fighting right now, and I have determined that the reason that there are so many Anbu and uneasy Jonin scattered about the place, is because something very bad is going to happen. Like an invasion or something. People are going to get hurt in some way and we're going to need a competent medic. Suna doesn't have the most talented medics in the nations and since you're here, it would only make sense for you to help. But, I know that you have issues. Don't think of the blood, think of saving someone's life. We are not in Konoha, so you will not be aiding Konoha in this, it would be the people here you are helping. Do not bring your baggage against the Hokage(though I don't see what your fucking problem since your grandfather and grand-uncle took up the mantle as the Shodai and the Nidai respectively) leave that shit out of it. I don't care that you lost someone important, there are more things at stake than your feelings when you're on a mission, simple. And this is a mission. No whining or bitching, be the legend that you are save people, even if you refuse to fight. Now will you take my bet, or cop-out?"

Tsunade was gaping at the younger blonde. No one had ever spoke to her like that! And the fact that the brat knew so much, meant that she was close to someone Tsunade knew personally.

"Fine, only because I don't think you'll win. You're too puny."

Naruko scoffed, "And you're probably too damn old to even move on your own, Baa-chan."

There was a snap and Tsunade glared, "You dare?"

Naruko was busy twisting a finger in her ear and cleaning it out. "Yeah."

A dark-haired woman next to the Sannin was patting her back, trying to calm her down.

Tsunade huffed, "Who are you, Gaki?"

"WILL UZUMAKI NARUKO COME TO THE ARENA?!"

The younger blonde turned away and glanced back with a narrowed eye. "You're god-daughter. Thanks for being there when I needed you, but I have to say, Jiraiya did a better job. I wonder how Kushina and Minato would feel if they knew how you are doing now?"

And with those words, she Shunshined in a swirl of lightning, appearing beside Shikamaru who was standing in front of Choji, who was doing situps?

"What did you do? I know he isn't doing that willingly."

Shikamaru rolled his shoulders. "I came up with a new Jutsu where I link my shadow to my opponent's and then with a marker, I can write an order on their shadow and they have to do it. I can only order situps and things like that at the moment, but soon, I'll have better things. This was the best way to end it without wasting chakra or fighting all that much. I just cornered him and here you see the result."

"How many does he have left?"

"Ten."

Poor Choji was worn out after that and Shikamaru had to help him over to the sidelines where he promised free barbeque when they returned to Konoha.

Gaara appeared in a sand Shunshin about ten feet from her. Keisuke looked nervous as he called the match to start.

"Uzumaki Naruko of Konohagakure versus Sabaku no Gaara of Sunagakure. San...ni...ichi. Hajime!"

He hauled ass out of there like a bat out of hell. Gaara's reputation must have been bad.

His sand poured out from the gourd on his back and he was giving her a smirk that screamed 'creep'!

She just stared at him, "You have issues, don't you?"

"Mother wants your blood and I will give it to her."

"Damn! You even call Shukaku, a male Biju, 'mother'. Something is wrong with that. Why is he pretending to be your mother at all?"

Gaara's eyes became feral as her words reached his ears. How dare she say that it wasn't mother!

Sand rose up from the ground and shot at her. She disappeared, only to reappear on the far side of the arena. He was looking around, trying to find her. So, she flashed forward and landed a kick to his gut, his sand wasn't fast enough to shield him from her assault.

Gaara was sent packing into the wall that separated the civilians from the arena floor. The people erupted in cheers. Probably because she just gave him his first injury.

Naruko winced as the dust cleared and she got a good look at the hole she had planted him in. It looked bad.

Gaara was a sight for sore eyes. It literally looked like his skin was falling off but in actuality, it was sand that he had covered his body with to appear like him. A last defense. Smart.

The grin on his face didn't change. In fact, it seemed to grow. "The first time I've ever been hit in battle! You will make me feel alive, Uzumaki!" he yelled.

Naruko rolled her eyes and flashed again.

She sent the other Jinchuuriki packing with a kick to the head. All she had to do was knock him out, right?

Gaara staggered to his feet and swayed slightly. His grin never faded tough.

Naruko shrugged and ran forward, fist cocked back. She got right into the redhead's guard and slammed her fist into his face. His body flew back and slumped to the ground.

Though Naruko wasn't as strong as Tsunade, she still had a good punch for someone so small. And there was no chakra added to it, making her twenty feet even better. Imagine if she could control her chakra that well. The possibilities!

Gaara didn't move, but the sand around his body began to cover his form and Naruko saw Keisuke pale and then gasp. "I have to end this, or you could die," the man said in worry.

Naruko could feel a dangerous amount of KI leaking from Gaara's body and she knew what was happening!

"No!" she urged. He looked at her like she was insane and she elaborated. "The seal that was used to seal the Shukaku inside him, was placed in the wrong area. If you make a mistake like that, you give the Biju free reign over the body and mind of the vessel. Gaara is an insomniac because if he falls asleep, Shukaku will break free and rampage your village. Shukaku is taking over because he's unconscious now, but I can handle it."

Keisuke looked astounded. "You can handle a tailed beast? On your own?"

"I'm an Uzumaki. My clan specialized in Fuinjutsu. I'm going to fix his seal. Don't stop me or him. I'm winning this, saving all our lives and possibly his future in the process."

Keisuke studied her for a moment, but when the large mound of sand starting taking shape, he disappeared, leaving her to fight the Ichibi no Tanuki, Shukaku all on her own.

A burst of chakra and the sand clumped together instantly, defining the grooves in the body of the great Biju.

"I'M FREE!" it yelled jovially.

Naruko scoffed and Shunshined on top of its body, running through her hand signs quickly, channeling a large amount of chakra. Well, large for normal people. She wasn't fazed.

I, Inu, Tori, Saru, Hitsuji.

"KUCHIYOSE NO JUTSU!"

Gamabunta, Toad Boss of Myobokuzan appeared under her, flattening Shukaku to the area floor.

"Where am I and what am I sitting on?!" he asked loudly.

Naruko hopped down to his nose. "Boss, Shukaku has gotten loose and I'm going to re-seal him. Can to hold him down and keep his mouth shut until I do?"

Gamabunta sighed, "Your father pulled this as well. Right in the middle of battling the Kyuubi, he summons me to keep the mutt down, so he can fight the other enemy and work on preparing the altar needed to seal the damn fox into you." Gamabunta sighed once more. "Fine, I'll do it. But we're sharing some Sake later on."

Naruko grinned and Shunshined again, getting into position as Gamabunta placed one hand over Shukaku's snout and the other under his jaw, squeezing it closed.

Naruko began making hand signs and building her chakra in a certain way. Linking it in long strings that grew in size the more chakra she added. The details worked out and soon, she could see the chains fully completed in her mind.

Knowing that it was time to finish this, before Gamabunta had to leave, she let her chakra explode, the chakra chains shooting from her body and flying toward Shukaku whose eyes went wide and his struggling became even more pronounced.

"NO! NOT AGAIN!"

The first chained wrapped around its mouth, freeing Gamabunta's hands. The great toad moved back slightly, allowing more chains to wrap around Shukaku's large frame and finally the toad had to move completely.

"Good luck kid!"

Naruko nodded and pumped more chakra into the chains, making them tightly around the Biju's body. Finally, she stood and ran toward the beast.

She jumped, slapping and hand to its' forehead.

"Uzumaki: O-jū Fūji Gijutsu!"(A/N: Uzumaki: Tailed Beast Sealing Technique.)

Shukaku's great bulk began to diminish, his body shrinking as the sand scattered. Gaara's body was revealed through it all as they reached the ground. Naruko kept her hand placed on his forehead and she pulled his shirt off with the other.

The other seal, which she was angry to see, was poorly done, was placed directly over his heart. Who the fuck did shit like that?!

She placed her other hand over his heart while dragging the one on his head to his abdomen. With her chakra, she broke down the poorly made components of the first seal, while simultaneously pushing the new one into his abdomen and locking Shukaku's chakra in that area. The first seal broke and faded away and the new seal became dark and she strengthened it with chakra.

Finally, the KI and chakra of Shukaku disappeared and frightened villagers of Sana relaxed and returned to normal, sitting like they had been before the beginning of their battle.

With an air of finality, she finished the seal and grinned and Gaara's body calmed.

Teal eyes opened and found blue. "What did you do to me? I'm so tired," Gaara said, running a hand through his hair.

"Then sleep," she suggested.

"I can't," he answered.

There had been silence in the stadium since Gaara awoke and the villagers and shinobi were listening to their conversation.

"Why not?" she asked, confused.

"If I fall asleep, then Shukaku will take over and attack the village."

She froze. That did not sound like a blood thirsty guy to her.

"Wait. So, even though these people don't like you, pretty much hate you and have tried to kill you several times in your life, you're willing to protect them, by taking the anger and pain from Shukaku all onto yourself?"

She saw some of the people stirring at her words. She was going to change their opinions of Gaara and this was how to do it.

"Yes," Gaara answered tiredly.

"Why?" she demanded. "What makes these ungrateful people worthy of your protection? Why help them if they are so horrible to you?"

Gaara sighed, "I was born a weapon. Created to be a weapon. My duty is to protect my village. If I don't protect them, then who will?"

Naruko smiled lightly at his reasoning. So, in reality, he really cared for his village. When Shukaku wasn't messing with him, he was actually a sweet kid.

Naruko sighed as the villagers began whispering. She cleared her throat, gaining all attention once more.

"Well, I replaced your first seal with one of my own. Shukaku will never influence you ever again. I don't know who put the first seal on you, but whoever did, is a dumbass."

The villagers and shinobi all gasped at her audacity. Apparently, someone important did it. Not that she cared. She called her Hokage, Jiji. Nothing would change her mind.

"Who sealed him in you?" she asked, curious as to why everyone was losing their minds over her statement.

"My father."

The Kazekage. "Oooooooooh," she drawled, looking up at the Kage Stand and seeing the red-haired Kage frowning at her.

She smirked, flipped him the finger and looked back to Gaara. "Yeah, he's still a dumbass."

Even Gaara's eyes widened at that.

She looked up at the people of Sunagakure and cleared her throat.

"Many of you, think I'm being disrespectful to a Kage, but I am going to explain why he's a dumbass and when I'm done, you'll be thinking the same thing."

She looked at Gaara and then back up to a certain group of civilians. "Sabaku no Gaara is the Jinchuuriki of the Ichibi, Shukaku. To seal a Biju such as Shukaku into someone, you need to use Fuinjutsu, the art of sealing. However there is criteria. Most important, is where you place the seal. Placing a seal for a creature such as Shukaku, over the heart, gives the beast control over the emotions and mind of the vessel. In this case, Shukaku was given the power to take over Gaara's body and attack you all, all because the seal was placed in the wrong area. This wasn't Gaara's fault, it was your Kage who fucked up.

Another problem, is that he obviously didn't know what he was doing and made several errors in the containment of the seal. It was weak and poorly made, therefore making it even easier for Shukaku to break free.

Because your Kage wanted power, he used his unborn son as an experiment. Gaara, tell me, did your mother birth you prematurely because of the seal and die shortly after?"

The redhead nodded silently and she wasn't surprised. Doing something like that to an unborn child and a pregnant mother was barbaric. The bastard!

She turned her attention another group of people. "You see? He sacrificed his son and killed his wife all for power. And what did it do? It made him the worst father in the world and worst husband to ever exist. And because he messed up, he put all of you in danger several times over, making him the worst Kage to ever exist! Hell, he makes Yagura look like a saint!"

She faced another section of the civilians. "So, his lust for power, caused all of your problems in the last twelve years. That's was lusting for power does to people. He risked all of your lives just for power and fucked up while doing so. You people don't like Gaara, when it wasn't even his fault. Your Kage did this to you all, don't blame Gaara. Because the Kazekage can remove Shukaku and seal him into one of your children. And when they don't turn out the way he wants, he can kill them because he's the leader and you can't do anything about it. So, if it isn't okay for him to kill your child after doing that to him or her, what makes it okay for him to do it to his own son?"

She could tell that the people were seriously considering her words because one of them looked happy. Some were even glaring at the Kage Stand and she knew that the Yondaime Kazekage was glaring at her something fierce. But she wasn't done. Gaara would get to have a normal life if she anything to say about it! He deserved it for all the suffering.

"I am not going to respect someone who obviously doesn't care for his children, his wife, his people or his land. He doesn't deserve my respect, so don't get all bent out of shape when I say he's a dumbass. He is and I'm not changing my mind. And since this is an Exam and my match has yet to be called, I can say whatever I want and he can't do anything. Too bad."

She looked down at Gaara who was just staring at her in silence. He looked slightly confused, though the lack of brow hair made it difficult to tell.

She pointed at him. "He is now a blank slate. How you treat him from now on, will determine his personality. Shukaku can never escape again, though Gaara will be able to use Shukaku's powers it can never overtake him. If you teach him with kindness, he'll become a worthy shinobi, maybe even a Kage who will give his life for you people without a second thought. If you continue to treat him horribly, he'll rebel and you'll be in danger. Which is better scenario? You decide."

She then turned to face the Kazekage who was standing now, glaring at her for all he was worth.

"Don't get angry at me, because you fucked up. You're a bad father, husband and leader. It's the harsh truth, whether you want to acknowledge it or not. You don't deserve respect and you'll rot in hell for your decisions. And since I haven't been named the victor yet, you can't take any action because this is a regulation exam where anything, even death, is allowed. Too bad for you," she taunted.

Looking down at Gaara, she asked, "Do you forfeit?"

"I can finally sleep?" he countered.

"Yes."

"Then yes, I forfeit."

He conked out immediately.

Keisuke approached them and gave her a stunned look. "Okay you defeated him, sealed Shukaku and told off a Kage. You got balls kid. Balls."

"I know. I need them if I'm going to be the Hokage one day. And hopefully, I'll be able to join Konoha with Suna, when Gaara becomes Kazekage."

Keisuke smiled slightly, "I look forward to it."

He looked up, "Sabaku no Gaara is unable to continue, Uzumaki Naruko is the winner!"

The civilians were on their feet, screaming and cheering about how she saved them and how she was amazing and though they were true, she felt embarrassed. If only her village acted like that.

She watched as Gaara was carted off on a stretcher and she noticed that they handed him a lot kinder than what she had expected. Now that the villagers were informed the rest was up to Gaara.

Naruko Shunshined to Tsunade's side and gave her a look. The woman was packing up her bags and Naruko scoffed. "I actually knew you weren't going to keep your word. The Legendary Sucker never pays what she owes. But it's okay. More deaths will be on your worthless hands. But just know this. When I become Hokage, don't come anywhere near me. When I get there, without any of your help, you are dead to me. Don't try to get on my good side, because you were never there. I have Jiraiya, Kakashi and Hiruzen-Jiji, I don't need you. Why would I want the failure of the Senju Clan associating with me?"

And with those kind words, she Shunshined once more, to Kakashi's side, where she threw her arms around said man and smiled up at him. Despite how tense he was, he still managed to look happy for her and ruffled her hair.

"I can't believe a thirteen year old sealed a Biju. I am so proud of you. There is no way you aren't getting a promotion, I can tell that much."

Naruko smiled. "Yay! Now, who's invading and what do I need to prepare for?"

Asuma, Kurenai and Gai, who had all been with Kakashi, gaped.

"What? Shikamaru and I noticed the behavior and increased number of muscle surrounding the area."

The Jonin all sighed. Geniuses. Of course they would get it.

Onoki, the Sandaime Tsuchikage of Iwagakure, was staring at the blonde girl in shock. She was the spitting image of him.

A', the Yondaime Raikage of Kumogakure, was laughing, "I like that girl! Her physical strength is astonishing, especially for someone her size. There was no chakra involved at all! And her speed!"

Jiraiya nodded in pride, "Yes. She didn't even release her weight seals. She's a lot faster than even that."

Mei Terumi, the Godaime Mizukage of Kirigakure, was smiling. "She rescued a lot of the smaller villages in Mizu no Kuni and they built statues dedicated to her as a way to express their gratitude. The last Uzumaki and she looks just like the Yondaime Hokage. Convenient or something else? Anyway, I like her and must thank her for her hard work."

A' looked at her in shock and Onoki was nodding. "Of course she's his daughter. I thought she looked familiar."

Hiruzen Sarutobi, Sandaime Hokage of Konohagakure smiled. "Yes she is. And before you ask, yes she is one of the remaining Jinchuuriki."

"Yo! Numba nine is doin' fine!" Kirabi, Jinchuuriki of the Hachibi and brother to A', rapped.

A' glared at his brother, "Stop rapping! You're bad at it!"

As Kirabi sulked, the Yondaime Kazekage was busy glaring at the blonde girl who was currently latched on to a silver-haired man.

Jiraiya smiled, "Well, I'm proud of her."

"As am I. She's definitely getting a promotion after that. And just one step closer to becoming Hokage."

Mei smiled, "She wants to be the Hokage? I'd gladly make an alliance with Konoha if she's there. Mizu no Kuni owes her."

Onoki was staring at the blonde, not really caring at the moment. "She's a lot better than most of the Genin here, even I can tell. Also, it's impressive that she sealed a Biju and succeeded in summoning the boss of the Toad Clan. Definitely Chunin level, maybe even Jonin. What did she use in her preliminary match?"

Jiraiya grinned, "Kenjutsu only. She continued to shatter her opponent's weapons from strength alone."

The Kazekage sighed. "In the First Exam, she used the Taju Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, because her team came back through the same gate they left in and around two hundred clones were carrying the body of the scorpion they felled."

Hiruzen smiled happily. Naruko was amazing for someone her age.

"She must have been training for years to pull all of this off," A' commented.

Jiraiya shook his head. "Nope. I met her about a year and a half ago. In our village, the Academy teachers weren't the greatest to her and she was the very last in her class. When I met her, I noticed that there was something wrong and it turned out that she's Dyslexic. Once we caught it, we changed some things around to help her out and she can read a lot better now. I taught her some chakra control and when she graduated after being played by a traitor Chunin of the village, and memorized the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, she was apprenticed to Kakashi Hatake and he found out that she was a prodigy. She's only been a Genin for six months."

The other Kage turned to look at him in shock. "Really?"

He nodded, "Yep!"

"The Genin these days," Onoki mumbled, much to everyone's agreement.

The Kage looked down at the battle, catching the end of Nii Yugito beating Kurotsuchi unconscious.

"Winner by knockout is Nii Yugito of Kumogakure!"

It was in that moment, that an explosions rocked the Desert Space, making the civilians scream.

The Kage were on their feet.

"It's beginning."

A/N: So, I know that Chiyo was the one to seal Shukaku in Gaara, but I changed it to the Kazekage for this story.

A lot happened in this chapter. What did you think of it? Let me know in a constructive, respectful manner, please? Since the beginning of this story, I said I was twisting it around and I am. Your thoughts on my version?
