Author's note: Haaaa...It's been a really long time since I did this story. Nothing to say, but I better get back to it. I don't own Yugioh 5Ds, but I do own my ocs. Enjoy readers! ;)

Chapter 2

Bad Impression

It's been coupe of days since I first entered Pearson's place, and I had to admit that I rely enjoyed it here. Every kids I met in here were really cute and friendly, like the ones I have been currently raising. Plus, they were a lot more skilled with mechanics than I thought, thanks to Pearson and Bolger helping them out.

However, the only person I hadn't even made real development with was Tsukina Yuna. First reason was that she wasn't really a talkative person. Which doesn't bother me much since that part of personality reminds me of Yusei. Second reason, she kept her distant away from almost all the people around the house, including myself. If anything, at least she was nice to the kids and talked to either Pearson or Bolger about the projects they are working on. Third reason, she always have a serious expression on her face and never really smiles. Fourth and final reasons was her eyes. While I admit that Yuna's blue eyes were really pretty to look at, they were also really scary. I seen other people glared at me before, and that didn't scared me much. But hers was different. Whenever I looked at Yuna straight into the eye, I felt like I was in some kind of a blizzard that sends shivers to my spine.

...

But even though I had difficult time developing friendship with her, I still tried my best to get to know her better. But then, the awkward situation began...

"Hey Taichi! Give that back!" I shouted as a boy with spiky brown hair ran away with my green headband in his hand. How the heck did he get that off of my head while playing tag, I have no idea.

"Not until you can catch me!" Taichi smirked and ran off with the other kids. I grinned and rubbed my hands together.

"Alright, you ask for it," I said playfully and ran after them. At that time, I was nearly inches to Taichi and was about to grabbed it, when all of a sudden, he tossed the band to another kid. Then, that kid toss it to another. That pattern kept going on, which resulted in the game of 'monkey in the middle'. I laughed and was having fun trying to catch my hand band back, despite the fact that I was getting tired from running around. The 'game' continued until one kids with spiky white hair accidentally tossed it too hard in the hair, completely missing the other child with blonde hair who was trying to catch it...and landed smack dab on a dark hair girl over the eye, who seemed to be passing by, carrying a box in her hand.

"Oh crap! Sorry about that! Are you alright?!" I passed through the kids, who were laughing, and ran up to her. Yuna slowly lifted the headband from her eyes and started giving one of her cold glares, which ultimately made me froze in fear.

Then, as if everything happened in a mere second, she shoved my headband to my chest and walked away, ignoring the startled look on my face.

Later, we were all back inside the house. And while the kids were playing Duel Monsters or some other games inside with each other, I was in another room with Yuna, who was fixing a duel disk for a kid name Shiro, which wasn't malfunctioning properly.

"Will you just go away?" Yuna asked in an annoyed, icy toned as she twisted one of bolts around with a screwdriver.

'Ouch. Now that hurts to hear that'. I thought.

"What? Is it wrong for me to check out what you're doing?" I asked, jokingly.

No answer. I could only ran my hand to my hair in defeat and sighed in exasperation.

Jeez. This was a lot harder to interact with her than I thought. I was able to make a lot of friends back in the orphanage. Then again, that was when we were young, and they were more accepting. I only met Yuna couple days of ago, and our first meeting wasn't really that great. I mean, she does have some sort of sharp tongue and kept herself secluded in this room or in her bedroom. Though, I can't help but feel that she had some kind of reason to act like that.

I started wandering my eyes around until I spotted a deck of Duel Monster cards beside Yuna on the table. My first thought that it belongs to Yuna, since I saw her taken it out of her pocket earlier. Then, just out of curiosity, as of my usual self, I walked over to it and picked up, examining the cards.

Broniac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, Gungir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, and some other cards with the name 'Ice Barriers, etc...

Dang, this girl runs an Ice Barrier deck. And with those three rare cards added into it as well.

"Dang, those are pretty awesome deck you have in there," I commented.

Suddenly, I heard the chair creaked and saw a hand snatching the deck from me.

"Don't go around, touching other people's stuff," Yuna said in an icy tone, and then walked away.

I got annoyed by her attitude and started following her. "Sheesh. What's your problem?"

"Nothing." she replied bluntly.

"Did I do something wrong to you, other than what happened outside earlier today?"

"...No."

"Then why are you acting like that?" I finally asked, throwing my hands up in the air, "Look, I was trying to get along with you here, and now you're treating me like I'm sort of an enemy or a germ to you. Why's that?"

The dark hair girl turned around and faced me with her piercing blue eyes, "I simply asked to leave me alone. Isn't it too much to ask?"

"See? That's the problem," I pointed out, "Why do you always act cold towards people like-AAH!"

My foot caught into something, possibly the uneven part of the wood nailed to the floor, all of a sudden and made me tripped and accidentally toppled over Yuna, much to our surprised. We both yelped as we came crashing down to the ground, with me on top of her.

Soon, my silver-grey eyes met her ocean-blue eyes, and I think my cheeks were starting to red by noticing how pretty they were. After a moment of becoming mesmerized by her eyes, Yuna's eyes closed and a few anime tick marks appeared on her head.

At first, I was confusing of what was going on before I felt something surprisingly soft on my right hand and looked down. A look of horror spread my face as I just realized that one of my hand accidentally touched her breast.

Oh shit!

"Gah! W-W-Wait a minute! I didn't mean to..."

SLAP!

I recoiled from Yuna slapping me across the face and pushing me backwards to get me off of her. I looked up and saw her angrily got up and slam the door behind her, while holding my left cheek and wincing in pain.

Later…

"Aw, c'mon Yuna! I said I was sorry!" I yelled in an apologetic tone.

"Don't bother me." Yuna spatted while walking towards to the other side of the room. I quickly approached her as I desperately tried to convince her.

"Seriously, I mean it! It was an accident!"

"Quit following me." The dark hair girl shuffled her feet to another side of the room.

"Did something happened between you two?" Pearson's voice appeared before I can make another attempt to protest at the stubborn, teenage girl again. "And Crow, did you just got slapped in a face?"

I stiffened and placed my hand on my cheek, which still has Yuna's slap mark on it.

"Uh...yeah. You see...err..." Dang it! How am I supposed to explained this without getting Pearson to kill me?! I mean, he seemed to be like a father and brother figure to Yuna from the way I looked at it at least.

"I know what happened!" We turned to see the snowy, white hair kid named Shiro passing by, "Crow nii-chan tripped and toppled over Yuna onee-chan and did something naughty to her!"

I felt the heat rising to my cheeks and fixated my glare at him, "Thanks so much, little man. Don't be too surprise once I come after you for this."

Shiro smirked and stuck his tongue childishly at me, before running back to his friends again. Then, I turned around to see a disappointed look on Pearson's face as he shook his head.

"Now that would explains it," I heard him muttered.

I groaned and buried my reddened face to one of my hands. Damn...I think Yuna hates me now. And that was all because I accidentally had my hand over her...asset.

'Stupid Crow!' I thought to myself. 'Why did you let something stupid happened like that?!'

'I have no idea' a voice in the back of my mind replied, 'But it was really soft...'

'GAH! Stop thinking about those perverted thoughts!'

"Crow, are you okay?" Pearson tapped my shoulder, breaking out of my thoughts.

"...Yeah. I'm fine," I finally replied, leaning my back against the wall, "I think I'm just having a rough day."

"From the Yuna reacted to you?" he asked. I slightly nodded, "Chin up, Crow. Don't dwell on it too much. I'm sure she'll forgive you eventually."

"Yeah, if she could at least stop giving me those glare of hers, I would probably be at ease," I muttered, "But I still don't understand. Why would this girl keep acting so cold like that? Did..." I sighed, "Did my appearance in here caused her to act like that?"

I was kinda pointing out the 'M' criminal mark on my forehead and the fact that I was part of a Team Satisfaction that broke a apart like few weeks ago. The brunette chuckled in replied.

"No, I don't think so. Yuna knows better than to judge people like that," Pearson answered, "But she did act like that before. Especially towards me when I first met her when Yuna was a child."

My eyes widened slightly, "Really?"

The brunette nodded, "Yes. To be honest, it was a pretty strained meeting. Mainly because she is having a hard time interacting and trusting people in the past."

Now that would totally explained it. I do know some other people who had a rough life. Perhaps her's was no different. Maybe worse. Still, I'm curious to find out why.

"So...what really happened to her when she was little?"

Before Pearson can answer, a door slammed opened beside us, causing us to flinched and looked towards to that direction. There, we saw a kid with spiky blonde hair and green eyes, out of breath and completely in fear.

"Big Bro! Something bad had happened!" The kid yelled and slowly started to let tears out of his eyes, "It's...It's Yufi. She...she..."

"Calm down, Daisuke." Pearson said in a soothing voice and knelt down in one knee, gently patting the blonde kid's head, "Take a deep breath and then talk slowly. Now, what happened to Yufi?"

Daisuke continued sniffing and fighting back the tears until he could speak again, "Yufi...she...she was kidnapped by one of the duel gang while we were playing outside! We tried to get away from him, but he managed to grabbed her before we got here."

"Wait, seriously?!" I yelled, "What does he looked like?"

"I...I don't know," he replied nervously, "He had a hood over his face, so I don't really know much what he really looks like. But...he did leave me a message."

That was when I noticed Yuna showing up and knelt down to Daisuke with a concerned look on her face, "Can you tell us the message or give it to us, Daisuke?"

Still crying and frightened Daisuke nodded and handed a piece of paper to her. I saw her read through the message and saw the look of fear and anger in her eyes. Then, I took a chance to peered over her shoulder and read the message on the paper.

We took your girl. But don't fret, for that she is unharmed at least for now. If you wished to see her alive again, then I suggest that you should tell that Yukionna to come over here to our usual hiding spot...alone.

R.I

Well isn't that just low? Kidnapping kids and using them as a hosts. And what do they mean by Yukionna, aka Snow Woman in Japanese?

I suddenly got broke off from my thoughts as I noticed the dark hair girl dashed inside to another room and quickly came back with a duel disk in hand. At first, I was confused by what was she doing, only to find out seconds later like putting the puzzles together one by one. Not only that, I noticed a look of fear on Pearson's face as he saw Yuna quickly exiting the door.

"Wait Yuna! COME BACK!"

Author's note: And that's that. Ah...poor Crow. He made a bad impression on Yuna.

Ah well, glad I got back to this story. Updates may be slow, but I will try to update again. R&R please. ;)
