Seth's POV
I screamed at the top of my lungs when I finally saw my big sister coming through the airport doors. I grabbed her up into a bear hug, "I'm glad you're home sis! I would've gone with the rescue party but someone had to stay behind and make sure that Sam didn't try to steal the tribe or anything" I not so quietly said to her.
That shit with Sam really pissed me off; at least Edward has treated my sister with love and respect.
"Hey Seth" said my boy Emmett who was standing off to side with his wife Rose. I walked over them as Leah finally was able to hug Dad.
"So, you think they finally hooked up" I don't know why he is so obsessed with the idea of our siblings having sex or why he would think that I ever wanted to think of Leah that way.
So I did what I always do, I flirted with Rose, "Hey Rose you are looking extremely beautiful today." I winked at her and she reached over and rubbed my hair making a complete mess of my head.
"Calm down guys he's cool" I hear Leah say over growling from my pack brothers.
I turned around from my conversation with Emmett. "Who's cool?" and that's when everything changed. I stared at the tall rugged looking man in a dark floor length robe. Our eyes locked and a wide cool-aid smile came to my face.
I always knew that I would imprint. I always knew that I was destined to find my one true love. I always knew that when that moment finally came that I would finally feel whole; completely at peace with myself.
But, that emotion only lasted about half a second and then there was only the feeling of anger. Anger at the ancestors for this cruel joke; I am not gay so what is really going on?
I couldn't understand as my eyes fell onto the mystery man that Leah brought back with her from Italy. The stars finally aligned and it was as if the world finally stopped tilting and was back on its axial.
But there was no way I was going to say anything; it was obvious from the way that Leah and Edward was looking at me that they knew. I am not sure who this guy was but apparently I would know soon enough.
Leah motioned for me, Edward and the guy to drive back in Edward's Volvo. She probably just wanted to make fun of me for imprinting on a guy. I rolled my eyes as I climbed into the back seat.
Everyone decided to meet back at the Cullen's to find out everything that Leah learned and to find about my imprint, I mean red-eyed vamp guy.
"Well" she said finally opening her mouth to bash me no doubt, "it makes since now. I keep wondering why I feel so connected to you, Marcus."
She turned around in the passenger seat to look at the both us.
"Why" the guy I now know as Marcus questioned with confusion in his voice.
I took a deep breath as I turn my body towards him, "I imprinted on you. It means that I am meant to protect you and keep you safe."
He just looks at me; I'm guessing trying to comprehend what this entire thing means. Edward stops the car in that moment in the middle of the road and turns around looking at Marcus.
"What do you mean you've made Seth before?" he questions and my sister and I look confused as well.
"It's a part of my relationship identification power. When Dyme died she warned me not to try and find my next true love but of course I didn't listen." I was shocked by what I was hearing.
"I saw you on the day that you were born. I left from the shock of seeing you. I didn't know your name or that you were connected to the Alpha Female or anything." This was a lot to take in as he continued talking looking directly into my eyes.
"I thought that maybe my powers were out of whack after losing my mate so I never tried to seek you out again."
His voice got really quite as he mentioned his late mate, I reached my hand out to his grab his. I felt a surge of heat from his hands which was strange since vampires' skin was normally freezing cold.
I looked into his eyes and the emotion that I felt inside was something I never felt before. I felt complete peace.
