With Demolisher gone, Alexis was at a loss of what she could do. After a minute or two of indecisiveness, she decided to simply carry on tidying up the large piles of odds and ends. Since Demolisher wasn't here, she could do it exactly as she wanted to. Started by finding a decent sized container and after cleaning the dust out of it, set it aside.

Now any tiny pieces she came across, she could pop into the container without worrying about them rolling away. Soon she was finding loads and the container was filling up rapidly to her immense satisfaction. As well as picking up small bits and pieces, she carried on sorting similar looking items together until eventually, she needed to stop.

"Boy, I definitely need to get a bath," she said aloud, staring down at her dirty hands. "I hope I'm doing this all the time."

She sat down on an old box with a sigh of relief just as the door opened.

"Hmm," Demolisher grunted as he entered and saw what she'd been up to.

"Hey," she greeted, not moving from her spot. "How'd you get on?"

"Fine," he said shortly, apparently not in a talkative mood.

"Could I get a bath or something?" she asked.

"Huh?" he muttered, looking down at her. "You can get one later."

Her face fell in disappointment, as Demolisher gestured to the replicator.

"You better make some more fuel for yourself."

"Okay," she sighed, going to grab a food bar to see how she got on.

However, when she tried to activate it, the machine began shaking madly and spluttering out smoke. Demolisher let out an exclamation that sounded like a muffled oath and stormed over as Alexis jumped away from it. He instantly switched it off and opened it out, batting away the escaping smoke and revealing a melted looking food bar.

"I thought it was functioning," he complained tossing the bar before opening the back to see what was wrong.

"I'm sure we can get it working again," Alexis said positively. "Maybe it's just a little clogged up?"

He looked at her with a frown before examining the insides more closely. Sure enough, there was a touch of rust and dust in there so he decided to have a go at cleaning it before testing the machine again. Looking over some of the things Alexis had been sorting, he grabbed a couple of suitable looking tools, he began to clean the machine out.

Alexis watched him with great interest, she always enjoyed observing the Autobots when they were working. Continuing to observe him, she went to the box where he had placed several fruits and food bars, she was relieved to find a piece of cloth to clean her hands with.

"There!" he stated, slamming the door shut and frowning heavily. "That should do it."

"Great," she said, still wiping her hands.

He glanced at the remains of the food bar.

"We'd better use something else," he muttered to himself.

"I guess you could try another apple," she suggested and he nodded, placing an apple on the tray before closing the machine up and turning it on. It whirled and a small puff of smoke did appear but nothing appeared to go wrong as it carried out the task of replicating. A few moments later, it was finished and they discovered two identical looking apples sitting on the tray.

"Go on," Demolisher instructed and Alexis headed over.

She picked up the apple, looked it over for a moment and then took a bite.

"It's still okay," she assured him and he relaxed.

"That's a relief" said Demolisher as he watched his pet eat her fruit and got him thinking, humans need more than just fruits to eat which means he will have to do more trips to Earth before getting settled with Alexis needs.

"You know it's rude to stare," he was informed by Alexis who continued eating her second apple.

Snapping out of his thoughts "Sorry, I was wondering what else would you require to function?"

She thought about it.

"Well, sunlight is important," she said after a few minutes of chewing. "I can't be kept in darkness or I'll get ill. And I need to be able to clean myself regularly, as in washing myself."

"Alright," he said slowly. "What other foods do you need?"

"Various ones," she admitted. "Demolisher...why are you going to so much effort with me?"

"What do I need to get for you?" he asked, ignoring her question.

"Vegetables, meat, fruits and I would need more clothing to keep myself clean," she said trying to think as much as possible what he would need. "And also a toothbrush, shampoo and girl stuff."

"Ahuu," mumbled Demolisher as he wrote it down in a data-pad, but then stopped and looked at her confused "Wait, what do you mean by girl stuff?"

"You don't know what I mean by it?" Alexis asked, again that wouldn't surprise her since he is alien from planet Cybertron.

"If I did, I wouldn't be asking" he said still looking at her in the eyes.

"Em well" Alexis started off shy-ish and quickly responded. "I bet you have internet up here, why don't you look up period on google?"

He huffed but said. "Fine, I'll look it up later."

"I also need dairy and eggs," Alexis added, trying to cover all the food bases. Ruefully, she thought how the boys would have asked for chocolate and other sweet things but since she didn't know the state of eating habits for the next while, she decided it would be best to forgo sugary things.

"Some painkillers would be good," she added thoughtfully.

"Painkillers?" he repeated.

"Yeah, just in case," she told him with a shrug. "Best to be prepared."

"Alright," Demolisher said, he would need to get those thing, but they would have to wait for later since he do have his own duty's to take care of.

"Come on" he said and lowered his hand down so Alexis would get on "I don't have all day."

"Where are we going?" she asked curious and got on to his hand.

"I need to locate where the next minicon might show up and you will keep me company," with that Demolisher walk by the old halls until he reached his working place and sat down Alexis next to the console he would be using to find the minicon.

"So I'm just supposed to sit here and watch you work?" she asked, it would get boring real quick.

"Yes," he said shortly, sitting down and powering up the console.

She made a noise of annoyance, glancing around the dusty room. Even rooms that appeared to be regularly used were a complete mess, it seemed the Decepticons were not at all bothered about cleaning beyond the bare minimum. If that.

It was different in the Autobot base, they had made a big effort with their Minicons to clean up and get everything organised. They even installed walkways and stairs for the kids to use so they could interact better with their friends.

"What a mess" Alexis put her hands in her pocket and remembered she had her ipad with her, turning it on and seeing that she had a small signal "Perhaps I could send a message to the Autobots."

"Let's hope it can get through" she murmured and started to text her message on her little pink ipad.

"What was that?" questioned Demolisher looking down at her to what she was doing.

"It's nothing," she said quickly. "Just something that lets me write and listen to music."

He frowned at her.

"You'll have to give that to me for inspection," he told her.

"Why?" she asked, looking up at him but still typing. She was shielding the screen from him so he couldn't see what she was up to. If she could just get this quick message to her friends, then it would be a start.

"So I know what you say is true that's why," Demolisher answered and turn to stand in front of Alexis as she quickly touched on the send and the pressed on the menu button.

"Hand it over," he told her in a firm voice and holds out his hand.

"Fine," Alexis handed over her ipad to him "Iust don't break it, I had to save up a long time to buy it."

"I'm not going to break it" he said and looked at the tiny ipad on his hand, it looked to be primitive tech.

"Humans use this?" he said, it wasn't really a question but she answered anyway.

"Yes, we do," she sighed, he didn't seem very impressed with it.

"Demolisher," she suddenly said as he squinted at it. "Is there a way for me to charge it?"

He glanced down at her before shrugging. He had no idea if they had anything suitable, he'd probably need to ask a Minicon to deal with that.

"I'm not sure, it looks to be primitive technology" he said and handed over the ipad to her since it didn't look to be anything dangerous.

"But on the Autobot base I could charge it without a problem," pointed out Alexis, she did let it charge at that room the Autobots build for her and the boys where they had a couch, food, a TV, and other humans things where she and the others could take it easy and do their homework.

"I will have my minicon help you out with that device," said Demolisher before calling his minicon. "Bonecrusher I need you, come to my location at ones"

"Thanks," she said softly, glad he hadn't examined her Iapd more closely. With luck, she could establish contact with the Autobots and work out a way to escape. Perhaps she could even give them information about what the Decepticons were up to.

"Just sit quietly until he gets here," Demolisher commanded, turning back to his screen and continuing his work.

"Alright," she said, settling down on a random box. She decided to bring up something that wouldn't look suspicious if examined and she decided on her music play list.

Listening to her song in low volume since she didn't have any headphones with her, also hoping this would not disturb Demolisher to take away her ipad.

Demolisher could hear the music in it's low volume as he worked, suddenly the rooms doors open and Bonecrusher walks in "I'm here."

"Bonecrusher, I need you to help my pet find a way to charge her devise," said Demolisher and looked over at Alexis, the minicon did the same and saw that she was holding a pink devise on her hands.

"Hey, it's rude to call someone a pet," said Alexis offended, she was no pet but a person, why would Deceptions see humans only as pets?

"You are my pet, so hush," he said flatly.

"I'm not a pet, I'm a person," she argued back.

"You're small and organic," he shot back. "That makes you a pet, namely mine. You better get used to it."

She glared furiously at him while Bonecrusher looked on, apparently without emotion. What he did do was hold out a hand to take a look at her Ipad and she gave it to him. She was still very vexed about being referred to as a pet.

He took the ipod and was looking at it on all angles with he found the on and off, menu and volume button's and in the end two holes one that could be placed headphones when the other was for charging the devise.

Bonecrusher looked over at Alexis before asking "Do you by any chance still have the charge cable with you?"

"No, not really" she said and saw the minicon walk over to a box and start digging in it, likely to find something useful that might help.

"I will see what I can do" said Bonecrusher with now was holding a few thin cables, but the minicon was looking at the ipad's port where he needed to find something similar to let the devise to get charged.

"Hmm," he hummed, testing one cable but it wasn't the right shape. It would basically be a matter of luck whether or not they had the right cable jack for the Iapd.

Alexis sighed, wishing she'd had the right one with her but she couldn't drag all her charging devices with her. She only had the Ipad in case they needed to look something up. If her Ipad died, she wouldn't have a method to communicate with the Autobots and that would make her situation worse. Demolisher had gone back to his work, satisfied that his Minicon was managing things.

"I guess it could be worse," she mumbled quietly to herself. "I could be with Cyclonus."

The minicon heard what she said and nodded "You wouldn't want to be his pet"

"Let me guess, he is not the best master is he?" asked Alexis, from what she have seen in the battlefields Cyclonus was always wild trying to get the minicon and don't mention a bit crazy.

"In a way" said Bonecrusher who managed to find a right cable most suitable and was now taking of some of the plastics in the end and connecting it to a small metal peace that should fit the ipad port.

"I think that should do it," said the minicon and connected the port in to the ipad then the other end to the console "Let's hope it works."

"I hope so," Alexis said gratefully. "Thank you."

He fiddled with a few more bits before standing back to examine it.

"That seems to be it," he announced, letting Alexis take it. "That should charge it up."

"Thanks," she said again, glad to see the charging bar all lit up.

Demolisher glanced down and saw his pet smiling, she looked very happy now.

Seeing Alexis smile like that made him somehow happy to, perhaps that was because he did something good for his pet?

"You may go now Bonecrusher, I will call you if I need you," said the Decepticon tank and looked back at his screen, he would need to keep looking for the minicon or perhaps look for more materials since this base dose need some fixing to do.

Alexis watched the minicon leave the room and ones again she was alone with Demolisher, perhaps she could use this opportunity to know more about the Decepticon from their point of view "Demolisher, I have a question."

"Huu? What is it?" he asked focused at his work.

"Why did you join the Deceptions?"

"Why?" he repeated, he had not expected that question. You didn't ask bots why they belonged to a certain side...unless it was clear they'd once belonged to the other, like Wheeljack.

"Yes, why did you become a Decepticon?" she repeated.

"I've always been a Decepticon," he stated as though she should have known. "I came online on the Decepticon side, I trained and I eventually became a member of lord Megatron's team."

"That's it?" she asked and with a small huff, he said. "And now I will assist him in recovering the Minicons so we can finally win this war and defeat the Autobots."

"I see." As Alexis thought of his answer and guessed that some did been online in the two different sides "Have you ever thought what your life could been like if you were a Autobot?"

Demolisher now gave her a wired look "No, why would I?"

"I don't know, the question just came to me," she shrugged and hoped that he would answer her question.

Seeing Alexis look, Demolisher guessed that he might as well answer it before she would ask something else. "I would never side with the Autobots."

"So if you could chose, you would stay Decepticon ether way?" and she saw him nod, guess you can't change some people but it didn't hurt to ask.

"I believe in Megatron's cause," he stated. "That's enough questions, sit quietly now."

"Alright," she sighed, she would have been interested to hear more but perhaps Demolisher didn't think about it much. If he had always been a Decepticon and had never had any doubts, he had no reason to think of himself as an Autobot.

She really wanted to ask him if he agreed with how the Minicons were treated but none wasn't the time to do so. Taking a look at her Ipad, she saw that it was still charging and had a bit to go. She generally left it along while charging so what could she do in the meantime?

Knowing this would take awhile Alexis decided perhaps a nap would pass up the time, walking around until she saw a spot where she could sit down, have a knee up to her chest and her head down and just fall asleep.

It wasn't so hard to fall asleep since it was so quiet and only sound that was heard was the keyboard Demolisher used.

She'd already had a nap earlier in the day but found herself rather tired. Boredom did play a part but a lot had been happening which was a bigger reason for how easily she fell asleep. Her body slumped and she slowly fell onto her side before curling up, head resting on her arm.

Demolisher continued typing for quite a while before realising that his pet was exceedingly quiet. He stopped his typing and shifted closer, reaching over to give her a small nudge. She barely reacted, just continued sleeping peacefully. He frowned before bringing out a clean cloth from his sub space and laying it beside Alexis. Gently lifting her up, he place her on top so she would sleep more comfortable.

She mumbled in her sleep, snuggling into the fabric. His lips twitched into a small smile and he bent down and gently kissed her on the back. Then straightened and turned back to his work.

Author's note. Alexis's life continues with Demolisher, what else do they get on to? Find out next time, until then.
