After that deep conversation with Rio, I walked her home and went to the dorm with a tired brain. It was a while since I had the nerves to remember him, or even think of him. I touched my headphones fondly, before deciding to listen to "I Hate This Part" just for the memory. However, my Personas decided that now was the time to make a ruckus.
"That was legit, the most touching story I ever heard." Pixie sniffed, blowing her nose to what I hoped was a tissue. "The fuck man, you didn't tell me this sad back-story." I rolled my eyes at her and tried to focus on the song.
"I do agree to what she's asking Minato." Apsaras sniffled as well. "We could've provided you with comfort, had you said that the memory was still haunting you." She said with several added noises that were probably her blowing her nose.
"Hey! Watch the dress!" Pixie whined before Apsaras resumed sobbing.
I sweated, who knew Personas could be so emotional?
I thought, since you were me, you would know about my memories. I defended, my eyes looking straight ahead as if I wasn't having a conversation with myself.
"Thou is right, yet also wrong." Orpheus answered. "Indeed, we, Personas, are allowed entrance to your thoughts and memories, however, things thou hath blocked would be impossible to access. For us, that is." I blinked, surprised at the knew information.
"So, since you were quite traumatized by that specific memory, we thought it best to not dwell further than need be." Apsaras added, and I felt a bit touched by that.
... Thanks guys. I closed my eyes as Pixie laughed.
"There's no need Minato. Just tell us what's bothering you for time to time, alright? We're not beings just used for fighting, ya' know?"
I laughed softly. "I know." I whispered, looking around at the empty train car. "I know."

"Welcome back." Mitsuru greeted me. "Arisato." She called as I was heading up the stairs. I back tracked and found a seat in the one across from hers. "Firstly, how is your injury doing?"
"Surprisingly," I folded up my sleeve and unwrapped the bandages. "Pretty good. It's healing faster than I thought."
She smiled, eyes closed. "Yes, that is one of the perks of being a Persona user, I suppose." She reopened them and stared at me with a serious face. "It seems that you are well enough to explore Tartarus. So, I would like to remind you of some things."
I inwardly groaned, shifting my position in the chair into a less stiffer position.
"Exploring Tartarus can be exhausting, as you have found out. You may need a great deal of rest to recuperate at times if you're not monitoring yourself as you should. This goes the same for your comrades. Since you're the leader, you must be mindful of their conditions as well, as they could be having problems of sorts and wouldn't be as attentive as they should. If you want to know from the beginning of how everyone is doing, don't hesitate to ask me." She said with a huff, regaining some of her breath after that long winded explanation.
"I understand." I nodded, and place the thought and question of how she knew what everyone was doing and how they were doing. "Actually, if it isn't too much, can I see how they are now?"
"As you wish." She said and showed me how everyone was doing via chart. It was adorable, as it was hand drawn, no doubt by Mitsuru herself. I chuckled internally and kept note that once Mitsuru was more relaxed with me, I would ask her to draw something and see if I could watch. Back to the chart though, it seemed that everyone except Akihiko was fine. Actually, there was a magnet with a emote that had a lower face mask on. More cuteness.
"Thank you." I said to her and she placed the dry-erase board away. "Ah, can we go tonight, if it's no trouble?"
Mitsuru nodded. "I don't see why not. I'll inform the others." I thanked her once again and went upstairs to my room for preparation.

[Late Night]
[Five Minutes Ago]
"This is so boring man." Junpei whined. I raised an eyebrow as I placed the book I was reading on my lap.
"Quiet Junpei, I'm almost done finishing this." Yukari softly hissed, her hands trembling as you softly rose to finish the card pyramid she had constructed.
"I can't help it man." He scoffed and lead back in his chair. "You're doing that and Minato is being a bookworm. No one wants to play with me!"
"That's what she said." Pixie and I said in perfect unison. I gave her a mental high five.
"Well, maybe no one wants to play with you because you're so whiny!" She hissed once again as her eyes strained in concentration.
"I'm not whiny!" He said, before yelping as he lost his balance and crashed to the floor. Making Yukari's card pyramid fall onto the table. Exactly when she was about to place the top.
"No!" She screeched. "Damn you Stupei!" She yelled, falling to the floor herself with a "thud".
"S—Stupei?!" He yelled questionably.
"Yeah!" Yukari countered. "S-T-U-P-E-I." She blew a raspberry at him. That had started the war.
[Five Minutes Later]
Now, in the present time, I was stuck under a pillow fort as my classmates resumed to throw objects at each other. For safety purposes and the fear of angering the Student President, they threw leftover pillows and their own from their respective rooms. Which explains why I was in a pillow fort in the first place. Apparently, their reasoning was so Junpei and protect me from the evil witch, and Yukari saying she needed to put me away from Junpei's stupidity in fear that it was contagious.
I heard the door open to see that it was Akihiko. He noticed the make-shift pillow fort and crawled in, raising and eyebrow at me as I continued to read as if something akin to a pillow war was happening just outside the safe zone. I greeted him with a nod and returned to my reading, my back laid on the floor.
"So..." Akihiko said, his head popping out of the blankets, watching the battle from afar. "Is anyone going to explain to me what's happening here?"
I pretended to think about it. Before decided the best choice of words. "Nah."
Then all hell broke loose after Mitsuru ducked in for cover.
XXI
"So Arisato..." She said, going for more popcorn. "What exactly is going on over there?"
"Don't try." Akihiko sighed, reaching over her to grab popcorn as well. "I asked him earlier and he refused to say anything."
"I wouldn't say that." I huffed, closing the book I was reading and crawling up to them. "You stopped after one "no"." I supplied, skipping over the popcorn in favor for some cookies.
"So?" Mitsuru raised and eyebrow at me. There were some feathers in her hair that I assisted in pulling out. "Thank you." She said, sweating, "Anyway, what had happened?"
"Well..." I hummed. "Junpei was whining on how we had to wait until twelve, and it was only nine."
"Sounds like him." Laughed Akihiko and Mitsuru shushed him.
"Continue." She said, reaching for more popcorn as she looked at the other two.
"'Kay," I said, picking up another cookie. "Yukari told him to shut up because he was ruining her concentration."
"On what?" Mitsuru asked.
"Card Pyramid. She was almost finished too." I answered and both of them nodded in understanding. I continued, "Then she called him whiny, so he fell off his chair while trying to defend himself."
"Hah." Mitsuru laughed softly.
"Because he fell, it caused her pyramid to fall. Which made her fall in frustration. Then they started calling each other names and then everything escalated up until this very moment." I looked over and blinked. "Looks like we have a winner." I pointed out as Yukari stood up in happiness.
"So it seems." Mitsuru sighed and stood up to walk over to them. Akihiko followed which, in turn, made me follow.
"Mitsuru-sempai!" The two of them yelped, Yukari hesitating to remove the foot off of Junpei, but took it off in surprised. Both stood tall and stiff, which would be hilarious if I didn't see a black aura around Mitsuru.
"You two have made a complete mess of the lobby. You do realize you must take punishment for it, right?" She said with a raised eyebrow.
"... Yes..." Both of them held their heads down.
"Now, do you wish to guess your punishment?" She asked and Junpei jumped, answering immediately.
"We have to clean the lobby." Yukari moved to stop him, but it was too late, it had already reached Mitsuru's ears.
"Exactly, which means you get a prize. The prize being no adventuring into Tartarus for today, despite Arisato's determination to go." I blinked.
"Wait what." I asked and she continued to stare at the other two as they deflated. Yukari punch Junpei in the gut and started to work. Mitsuru seemed to take this as her time to leave as she departed the lobby to go upstairs. Akihio signaled me to follow her and it seemed like I had no choice in the matter as the red-haired dame came back to tug me along with her.
XXI
"Um..." I blinked, unsure how to accurately describe the situation I was in. "Why are we in your room, Mitsuru-sempai?" I asked as she continued to dry her hair. Akihiko, Mitsuru were in their sleeping clothes, and I felt out of place with my uniform.
"Since you were punish along with them, I decided to give you at least a bit of a reward." I sweated, unsure what she was meaning on "reward". I looked at Akihiko, who was still rummaging through one of her drawers. "Firstly..." I gave my attention back to Mitsuru. "We should probably get you some sleeping garments." She stopped rubbing her hair with the towel and starting looking into her dresser. She then pulled out a set of blue pajamas. This caused Akihiko to pause his destruction on her drawer, an eyebrow raised. "It is the only pair I have that would fit him." She told the boxer. He looked at me and I jumped, really not getting the situation.
"It's fine." I said, hoping the awkwardness to leave the room. "I can just go and get my own."
Mitsuru shook her head, "You'll take too long."
"But—!" Akihiko interuppted me before I could say anymore.
"It's fine. Take a shower, it's not all that important." He went back rummaging through Mitsuru's drawer.
"Okay..." I said, uneasily. I took the set with caution and Mitsuru chuckled at my actions.
"It's fine for you to wear it." She supplied. "It was just an old pair that our friend use to possess.
I sweated at the thought that they had a common friend, as they were two different types of people. I headed into the bathroom to do the quick change, until Akihiko called out;
"Take a shower! You stink!" I flushed and began stripping in embarrassment.
Third P.O.V
"You sure about that Akihiko?" The scholar said as she found a place on the rug beside the sportsman.
"Yeah, it's no big deal." He sighed through his nose.
"I apologize, I hadn't realize it was his. It was on instinct." She continued and he laughed.
"Old habits die hard, huh?" He stopped, settling on the ground, arms crossed over his chest. "Do you think he'll ever accept the offer to come back?"
Mitsuru joined him on the floor. "I don't have all the answers Akihiko..." She sighed, "I do have a feeling he will though."
He laughed, "Another one of those gut feeling, huh?"
"Yes." She smiled, "One of those gut feelings."
[Elsewhere]

Shinjiro sneezed, causing both dog and cat to jump.
"Huh..." He said, scratching the shibe behind it's ears. "I remember she said that if someone was thinking or talking behind your back, you would sneeze..." The cat looked at him wearily and he laughed. "Yeah, it's probably the shower."
Minato's P.O.V
After I stepped out of the shower, the blue pajamas loose, I saw something I never thought I would: Akihiko and Mitsuru having an argument about movies.
"For the last time Akihiko! We. Are. Not. Going. To. Watch. Forrest. Gump." She hissed and Akihiko gasped dramatically.
"Forrest Gump is the greatest American movie ever!" Akihiko pointed at the small table in front of Mitsuru's soft couch. "We are not spending money for Sherlock Holmes! That would be so boring!"
Mitsuru looked offended. "Why you... Sherlock Holmes was a great book, which assures me that I will get good watch out of a new movie rather than rewatching one! Honestly, I'm sick of watching that already!"
"What?!" Akihiko gasped. "One does not simply get sick of watching Forrest Gump! One gets thrilled with watching such a masterpiece!" Mitsuru groaned in her hands.
Unbeknownst to them, I picked "Up" instead.
They didn't notice until the dog popped up.
[Midnight]
Both Akihiko and Mitsuru fell asleep on the couch. Well, not a couch. Futon more likely as it was revealed that it would fold into a bed. I blinked watching the clock tick midnight. The scenery changed into an ill green and outside Mitsuru's window, I could see the sky turn too. I sighed, snuggling further into the blankets that Akihiko kept tugging away, and Mitsuru trying to get them back. I noticed something about the pajamas then.
It smelled like Shinjiro, except the looming smell of death around him.
I shook it off, thinking I was too tired. A lot has changed after all. I found myself sleeping to the natural scent of what I thought was my awkward giant friend, and thought nothing more of it. For now, that is.
This was awfully a slow chapter, haha. Sorry, but I couldn't bring myself to write action scenes.
Well, hoped you enjoyed! See you next time!
