Wow it's been over 2 years since I posted an update right? I hope everyone is good, let's see if we can kindle this ole fire eh? I've been thinking about this fanfic for a while to see where I could go with it, I got a few ideas. I read it earlier on, and I kinda agreed with a couple of people of the Bellatrix thing. And seeing that I didn't have any notes on this fic, I have no idea where I wanted to go with it. If you'd like to PM me that's totally cool! I'm more than happy to talk to people!

Once again, even after all this time, I still do not own Harry potter or any of the characters except Blake or Cerin. Please, read and review, your input is greatly appreciated.

Chapter 20: Trouble and a kiss.

Blake hummed gently as she read the book on Transfiguration made simple, curled up over Hermione in the library. The last three days had passed with awkward conversations and gasps every so often from her counterpart. Today was the last day they had together and the duo had been doing their homework together - Blake swore multiple times at the parchment - and free time was spent reading and debating topics in which, Hermione normally one. As much as Blake loved Hermione, wait… Loved? That's way too serious for me. - Hermione would stick to the book and never deviate. If it wasn't in a book, she didn't want to hear it.

They spent meals with Narcissa and Minerva, and would talk about their days and what they wanted to do for the rest of the holidays. Lunch and dinner in the McGonagall-Black household were always healthy, whilst breakfast was somewhat unhealthy such as Blake's new found favourite cereal, which was american, lucky charms. The Marshmallows were just so good!

Hermione had packed the night before with Blake's not much of an effort to help, more like spread over her bed talking about things that weren't important. But nevertheless Hermione spoke with her and laughed as Blake attempted to climb into the trunk containing her girlfriend's property. Because she was part of it right?

At this point in time Blake was wearing a short sleeved red t-shirt with a black number '14' on it, and black shorts with a red stripe doing on the sides. She wore a bright green sock and a purple sock with pink stars on it. It was exactly twenty-three minutes and fifteen…. Fourteen seconds, thirteen, till she left. Twelve.

Blake made a loud exaggerated noise as a sign she wanted attention. Hermione looked at her, cocking an eyebrow.

"Yes?" Hermione spoke pointedly. Placing a bookmark where the page was and shut the book.

"I'll miss you, ya' know?" Blake played with her girlfriend's hair.

"I know, but we can owl each other and I'm sure you can convince Professor McGonagall and Mrs Malfoy to allow me round again." She expressed "Besides, it's not like I'm noisy or like Ron."

Blake gasped "Don't say that word in front of me!"

Hermione giggled. "What? Ron?"

"Hermione!" Blake gently shoved her arm. "Say it again, see what happens to your books, go on."

"Excuse me?"

"Yeah, that's right."

"I'm going to give you five seconds to run. One."

"I'm sorry!" Blake got up and ran as Hermione got to two. She sprinted down the stairs, grabbing hold of the banister as she almost slipped. Maybe that was the reason she wasn't allowed to run in the house.

"Blake Corvus McGonagall-Blake!" Narcissa raised her voice. "Get back up those stairs right now!"

"B-But Cissa-" Blake stuttered.

"Don't make me repeat myself young lady." Narcissa put her hands on her hips as she stared over the banister.

"Hermione threatened me!" Blake whined up to the elder Black female.

"Then you will both come in front of me." Minerva spoke as she exited the study.

Blake stalked up the stairs and took hurried steps towards an adult so her beloved couldn't get her.

"Now. Blake you will walk, down the stairs and stand in a corner for fourteen minutes. Do not argue with me you were warned." Minerva spoke with authority to the teen. "And you Miss Granger, explain yourself."

"I said Ron's name, so Blake said not to say that word in front of her, so I obviously said it again. Then she said 'say it again and see what happens to your books' so i told her to run." Hermione explained.

"So you didn't threaten her?"

"No."

"Blake did you lie?"

"It felt like a threat!" Blake whined.

"Don't whine Blake, it's unbecoming." Narcissa spoke as she guided the teen down the stairs. "Walk."

Blake huffed and walked down the stairs and then stalked to the nearest corner, looking round at the woman behind her who made the signal to look forward.

"Fourteen minutes, I'm going to be in the area, move and I will double the time. Is that clear?" Narcissa spoke. The woman was currently sporting an emerald dress, with some kind of shoes, they were elegant that's all blake knew. Who knew? The woman was weird.

"Yes Ma'am." Blake retorted, sighing as she resigned herself to her fate. In front of Hermione no less. This wasn't fair, it was hardly her fault, Hermione started it.

The fourteen minutes seemed like it was much longer than it was, there was noises going on behind the girl which resulted in her wanting to turn round and see what was going on. She didn't, she reigned in her curiosity. When the time was up Narcissa walked up behind her.

"Blake, look at me." She waited for the younger one turn to look at her, before holding her chin up. "What you did was unacceptable, we have warned you multiple times that you are not to run in the house, you could have broken something or worse, hurt yourself. Now I want you to apologise."

"I'm sorry Cissa." She whimpered slightly and hugged the older woman didn't let go for a while.

"You're forgiven Blake, now I think you should apologise to Hermione and spend some time with her for a bit, she's due to leave in five minutes." -she rubbed the girl's back and kissed her forehead,

"Okay Cissa," she nodded and when in search of Hermione, finding her in the library she shuffled over to her. "Sorry snowflake for threatening your books."

"It's okay Blakey, now come cuddle for a bit." Hermione smiled putting her book down.

That evening Blake was wandering around the house before she stopped in front of Mrs McGonagall. "Hello Mrs McGonagall!"

The woman smiled at the girl. "Hello dear, what have you been up to?"

Blake shrugged. "Not much ma'am, just wandering around. I thought I would come and talk to you if that's okay?" She smiled. She liked Mrs McGonagall.

"I wouldn't mind it all dear, I saw your little show earlier. Have you learnt your lesson?" She cocked an eyebrow, and Blake instantly knew where her Professor had inherited it. The could both cock an eyebrow like no other.

"Honestly? For now yes, future? Probably not for a long time." She grinned cheekily at the portrait.

It was impossible, but Mrs McGonagall's eyebrow arch became more arched and her mouth thinned. "It'll let it slide this once, your mothers won't be happy with that attitude." She smirked softly. The girl reminded her of her daughter when she was younger.

"Thank you Mrs McGonagall." She smiled gently. She looked at the time, 9:23pm. She frowned. She was enjoying her time with the portrait. "Mrs McGonagall, I'm really sorry but it's seven minutes before it's lights out for me."

"Of course dear, no need to apologise. Sleep well little one." She shooed the girl away, and the girl smiled at her.

Blake climbed the stairs before going to the bathroom to brush her teeth. "Mimi! I'm going to bed" She called out as she went to her room leaving the room.

A couple of minutes later Narcissa and Minerva had flowed into the room, both kissing her forehead and tucking her in.

Minerva was the last to leave. "Sweet dreams beag leòmhann." She turned the bedroom light off and left the door open so the girl could have some light flowing into the room.

"Night Mimi" The girl murmured as she snuggled into the blanket. Within seconds the girl was sound asleep.

Minerva was walking towards the bedroom which she and her new, friend… were sharing.

"Oh minnie…." Narcissa spoke softly and smirked as the two leaned in. Narcissa closed in and kissed the Gryffindor on the lips, slowly. Taking all the time in the world they stood in each other's arms for what seemed like forever, exploring each other's mouths.
