I found her curled in a ball crying. She never cried. She never showed any emotion other that anger or pride. But here she was, crying.
I sit down beside her but didn't say anything, after all, what would I say? I noticed that I didn't hear anything. She was still crying, but she was completely silent.
It was getting cold and the sky was going black. I could see the giant moon rise over the lake. She started to shiver, so I did the most natural thing. I took of my coat and draped it around her shoulders.
She looks up at me supersized, and I give her a small gentle smile. I stare out onto the lake when suddenly I feel something leaning agents my shoulder. I look down and see her leaning on my shoulder, her eyes are closed. She must be tired.
I put my arm around her, rubbing her shoulder keeping her warm. After a while I hear soft snores. I pick her up with ease and she self-consciously snuggles into my arms. I can't help but smile to myself as I carry her back to her side of the cabin.
I lay her in the first empty bunk I see hoping it's hers. I quietly tuck her in and she smiles in her sleep. I start to head out when I hear her mumble something. I turn back hopping to catch it.
"Brick"
I grin and back my way back to my cabin and into my bunk. I knew that tomorrow things would be back to normal, almost as if to night never happened. She was after all the toughest girl on the show and didn't ever let anything affect her.
She wouldn't be Jo if she did.
