Hiccup and Jack had known each other since Hiccup was a baby, they're parents were great friends, and so were they're sons, and they would often stay at the castle together. But one day, Jack, the boy with the snowy white hair, and big blue eyes, moved into his own room, and rarely came out as they closed the gates and windows.

Hiccup, who was only 5 at the time, with a white streak in his auburn hair, trotted down the halls, and up to his best friend's room, well... they use to be best friends... It was snowing out, and he knew how much Jack loved the snow.

Jack? (knock knock knock)

Do you want to build a snowman?
Come on let's go and play
I never see you anymore
Come out the door,

It's like you've gone away
We used to be best buddies
And now we're not
I wish you would tell me why

Do you want to build a snowman?
It doesn't have to be a Snowman
It could be a snow"Dragon!"

*Go away, Hiccup*

Jack said cuddling his bunny toy.

Okay, bye..

Hiccup said walking away. But tried again every snow day up till he was 9

(knocks) Do you want to build a snowman
or ride our bike around the halls?
I think some company is overdue

He told the white haired boy on the other side of the door. Emma was too young to play with, she was only 2 after all.

I've started talking to
The pictures on the walls
(Hang in there, Bork!)
It gets a little lonely,

All these empty rooms,
Just watching the hours tick by
(tick-tock tick-tock tick-tock tick-tock)

Years later, he had stopped trying, and they're parents left on a trip together, but never came back. Stoick The Vast, Val The Swift, Anna Overland, and John Overland all died in a ship wreck, along with them a secret.

(knocks) Jack?
Please, I know you're in there,
People are asking where you've been,
They say "have courage";

And I'm trying to,
I'm right out here for you
Just let us in
We only have eachother

He sang holding Jack's little sister Emma in his arms as she cried in his shoulder.

It's just you, me, and Emma
What are we gonna do?
Do you want to build a snowman? (sniff)

He asked sitting against the door, Emma nuzzling his neck. Jack held back the tears, wishing more then anything to hold the other two, to comfort them, but the frost covered the ground, and his side of the door, he didn't want to hurt the two people he loved most in this world. And since that day, Hiccup stayed in Burgess, in order to ensure Emma and Jack wouldn't be all alone.
