Chapter 19

Green-hair baby boy happily giggling while eating his favorite homemade chocolate pudding. He was sitting on his high-chair, placed in the shady part of the park late afternoon.

Sakuragi watching him as he's feeding him with the pudding that he personally made for his precious son. He look up at the sky and let a deep sigh of relief and very grateful that his son was recovering really well after the surgery to everyone's surprised.

Two and half painful months had been passed so easily. Neither him and Rukawa didn't made any moved to make-up and give their relationship another last chance.

Fujima along with his husband Maki, personally came to him to explained everything. Asking for his forgiveness. Though he already forgiven him as he couldn't put a blame on him knowing that he's at fault too. Maki also told him that they already explained everything to Rukawa same as what they told him.

That time, when Fujima exposed everything in front of Rukawa that cause them to broke up once again, something unexpectedly happened. Maki went to see Rukawa, but instead he secretly and accidentally heard the conversation between his husband and the brunette's mother about the incident and what they have done to both of them. He called Ayako that's revealed everything then agreed to talked and to settled the situation once and for all.

Although Fujima clearly cheated on him, he still forgiven the brown-hair guy because he loved him so much that he can't let him go away like that. Everything is finally cleared between them, but not with him and Rukawa.

For some reasons, he didn't make a move to reconcile with him. He was actually relieved to know that Rukawa forgive him and understand what happen between him and Fujima. During those times he was focused on his son recovery and he knew that it wasn't a good time to talk to Rukawa about their relationship.

Yet, even Rukawa himself never make a move to converse with him at all. During the time he spent in the hospital, he always hope that one day the brunette will show-up, at least for his son. It's just so sad and disappointing to think that he never dare to at least call him to ask baby Beel current condition.

And that's another thing that pissing him off. Rukawa was surely a man full of pride, nor even think to lower his ego for his innocent Child. And that's one of the factor he considered for not contacting him at all. It was an absurd reasoning, but he couldn't think of any reason on why the brunette never even asked about his son.

Thinking of it made his heart throbbed in pain more and more. His depressing thought was interrupted by a phone call that he hurriedly answer. "Hello?... Ayako?... What?..." Eyes widened and staggered as he stood then unconsciously dropped the spoon and the food on his hand. "I see...okay bye... No I can't...sorry." Slowly sat back on the bench, feeling dejected. He tried really hard to suppressed this kind of emotion inside of him.

Seeing his son's full recovery was enough for him. That's what he always told to himself, that he doesn't need to talk and see Rukawa again to feel more better. But by the phone call he just received, he could felt the empty spot in his heart again. And that spot was belongs to Rukawa, alone.

He took the car key and start the engine. He wanted to drive as fast as he can to let his frustration to come out but he just can't. He just aimlessly drove around. On the road, many thoughts still lingering to his mind. Perhaps he should forget about his stupid ego and talk to Rukawa. But then again, it's too late. Soon, he'll be totally out of his life and never be able to be with him again.

"Kaede...you think it's alright to leave everything like this?" Rukawa's father asked him, both sitting at the garden that night. "As your father, I wanted you to be with someone you love and live happy with that person."

"Dad... I love Hana-kun...but Mom doesn't allow it."

"Don't worry about your Mom, for sure she'll get over it later."

"But..."

"Listen Kaede. I do regret from the past but still I'm very thankful coz I had you and your sister. Though most of the time, looking back at the past wasn't bad at all especially during those time you felt true happiness. So, not to blame your self later on. You should fight for the love you have coz once you let it slipped away...you can't hold it back anymore..."

"Dad..."

"Go Kaede..you still have plenty of time or you'll regret it if you don't do anything..." He said, then smile widely when he felt his son move and run out just right before he finish his words.

He park his car at the front gate of his house. To his surprised, Mitsui's father and Hanano were waiting for him.

"Sakuragi-kun ." Old Mitsui called while he's taking baby Beel out from the backseat. The old man frown then glare at him. "What the hell you think you're doing Sakuragi-kun?" He asked furiously.

Sakuragi turn to look at him. He's pretty serious on his query so he face him. "That's my line Oyaji..what are you both doing here?..." He asked while passing in front of both of them.

Suddenly Hanano block his way and gently took the baby away from him and smiled. But his smile wasn't any ordinary. There's a deep meaning behind it. "Go! You already know why we're here. So go before it's too late!" He almost yelled but keep his calmness not to terrified the child in his arms.

Mitsui's father approached him and put his hand to his shoulder. "If you won't go now you'll probably regret it for the rest of your life. Leaving the person you love was a huge mistake to begin with, and letting him to be with someone else without fighting for it was a foolishness, so fight for it while you can...listen to me son, I'd been there...and I don't want you to do the same mistake as I do in the past."

Not uttering any words, Sakuragi draw a smile of gratitude. Moving fast and getting ready to drive his car, this time fast as he can...no seconds to waste. He should be there, no matter what.

"You think Rukawa-san talk to his son?" Hanano asked.

"I'm sure Rukawa-kun is driving now..." He replied. "It's so nice to be young and free..."

From not so far away from Sakuragi's house, Mitsui and Hanagata sitting inside the car watching them closely. He asked his father to talk to Sakuragi. They all had planned it just in case the redhead's stubbornness gets in the way.

"You think Rukawa-san will come? Hanamichi is a good driver...for your information..so they might meet along the road."Mitsui asked as he start the engine and drove away from the place.

"Yes... I'm sure of it. And it's gonna be a long way drive."

"Haha...yeah..that's so romantic. Chasing lovers in the mountain pass... I'm jealous..."

"Yeah you said So...although I doubt it went well according to out plan.."

Mitsui lift an eyebrow and turn at him. "What do you mean?"

"Well... I guess they won't make it at the top...when they reach that place..."

"Ahh... I get...but thanks for planning this all...for the efforts I mean. Akira must be waiting them at the hotel. I always thought you still after his ass."

"Same as you..about Sakuragi-kun...can't blame you either. He's goddamn sexy. Hahaha.. Well...because I'll make you pay this time. It's worth it...bigtime."

"He'll never be mine. Pay? okay whatever. But don't make it too expensive. I'm broke hahaha..."

"Don't worry it's very simple."

"Really...then tell me?"

"Remember I told you once that we can continue what me and Rukawa-kun left off that night..." He said bluntly and grin.

Mitsui park the car on the roadside. "What are you talking about?" He blushed, avoiding his eyes.

"Maa...maa. Hisashi...don't play dumbed..." He moved closer and murmured. "I'm ready anytime you know..." He teased, his hand slowly caressed Mitsui's his lap. "We know each other since we're young...I just realized it recently...that I'm jealous when I heard you have a lover.. Hisashi, I am not me without you." And their eyes, lips met.

"Yo-chan, you think they'll both make it here in my hotel?" Sendoh asked Mito, standing behind the shorter guy, arms wrapped around his waist and rested his chin to his shoulder, and pouted like a child. Staring at the astounding night-view in the balcony Of the hotel.

That night they choose to stayed at the hotel owned by Sendoh's family, located on top of the mountain. Anticipating Sakuragi and Rukawa's arrival. The hotel was very popular among couples for it's amazingly beautiful and romantic location that perfectly suits for engagement and wedding gatherings.

"I think so..." Mito answered, deadpanned. Wasn't really in a good mood to talk about it as he know really well where their conversation would ended.

"But I guess...they won't come here after all."

"Why?" He asked. 'Shit! it's coming....' And cursed.

"If I were them. I'll do it in the Car...hihihi." He giggled. And Mito was right. Another perverts thoughts from his sweet pervert lover.

"Pervert. Hanamichi is not like you...better know that Akira."

"Eh?! They missed each other So much...so it's normal for them to do it right away after they make-up...hihih..."

"Ack... Akira...can you please stop being pervert once in a awhile. I'm here worrying about them and you..." He sighed, his boyfriend was a really helpless case. And yet, he love him just the way he is.

"Fine,...how about we have a deal?"

"Deal?" 'Damn it! I knew it! Why I always fall into his dirty trick!'

"Yes. If they come here to stay overnight. No sex for one week. Bt if they do.. You have stay here with me for one week. Deal?!" Grinning widely.

Mito think for awhile and look at Sendoh, gradually smirk. Too confident that he'll win this one. "Deal." And smiled, that finally he could get a rest for awhile. A week without the annoying..yet his one and only beloved gorgeous spiky-hair lover. 'Please Hanamichi come... my millions of sperm soon to vanish... I'm begging you to come here now...' He mumbled under his breath.

Sakuragi step on the accelerator knowing his car was one of the best for hill climb. "Damn that Akira...how the hell he did this to me! He arranged the party in his hotel without letting me know!...damn it!" He cursed inwardly while driving, so upset that the spiky-hair guy didn't tell him anything about it.

Luckily, his full tank at that time or else he won't make it. It's quite a long way drive uphill, therefore he can took a rest when he reach the middle part of the mountain. The road had a very few motorists unless you're going to the famous hotel at the top of the mountain or just for sight-seeing.

As he drive he can see another car in front driving faster ahead. He growl, thinking that he'd became rusty when it comes to driving. He goes all-out as he step in full throttle to chase the car in from of him.

Just for a few seconds, Sakuragi finally catch up and easily drive side by side, next to the other car he's chasing, not even dare to look at the driver. Felt so good that there's no incoming cars from the other lane that night.

Rukawa frown when he notice the car to his other side, inch close and running so fast as him. He throw a glimpse and surprised to see the redhead driving, looking straight at the road without turning to check on him. He snap, not wanting to lost his concentration. He blow the horn many times that catches the redhead's attention.

Just like him, Sakuragi was more surprised to see the brunette driving next to him. He step on the pedal, drive faster to passed on him. 'Tsk...that fox ...you wanted to run away from Me..' He muttered. "I'll make you pay this time.. '

Rukawa felt disappointed, frustrated when Sakuragi seen him but totally ignored. His thoughts messed up. 'Stupid...how dare you to ignore me? Do you really hate me that much to be with that guy?" He wanted to stop in the middle of the road, thinking not to follow him anymore. He sighed, or at least have a proper place to park to settle down.

Sakuragi look at rearview mirror and realized Rukawa was slowing down as if he'd stop driving in the middle of the road. He doesn't want to lost him out of his sight. He knew the roads very well, after the corner in front of him, there's an old abandoned souvenir store with a wide empty lot that he can park his car so he can talk to the brunette.

Both park their own car. Headlights on. Nothing but a defeaning silence between them. No one dare to talk first as they both felt awkward. After those long months of not seeing each other, they certainly missed each other so badly.

Tired of waiting, Sakuragi silently walk closer to Rukawa who is sitting in the hood of the car. To finally break the silence. "Kaede..." His voice is sad. "Aren't you going to attend your engagement?"

Rukawa look at him and raise his eyebrow due to confusion. "Engagement? With whom?Isn't you the one who should go. Mitsui is waiting for you ..." He stated, surprisingly longer words than the usual.

"Mitchi? Why the hell he's gonna wait for me. Your Megane conductor might cry if you don't show up ...you know."

"Hanagata?" and realize something was definitely wrong. It's a huge misunderstanding. "Wait...tonight is your engagement right?"

"My what? Engagement?" He asked confusedly. "With who?! wait...you think I'm getting engage with Mitchi?"

"Yes. " he answer. "And me with that guy?" And questioned back.

Sakuragi stood and grabbed his own hair with both hands. "Damn it! They tricked us! Ayako called me says that you're getting engage! Those fools...and old geezers. Why I didn't realized it before!"

Rukawa chuckle, felt relief and look at him. "Dad told me you're with Mitsui...well.. Whatever do ahou..."

"You know... I was waiting for you... But you didn't show up in the hospital." Sakuragi said, in a accusing sad tone.

"I did..whenever you're not around or asleep.."

"Really...but why you didn't talk to me..."

"I'm afraid... I'm so sorry." He said.

"No..I'm the one who should say sorry... I'm really really sorry Kaede...for being such an ass.." The redhead apologized sincerely. He walked ahead and gazed at the view in front of him. "Ne, Kaede...the scenery...so lovely at night ...isn't it?"

The brunette stood next to him and stare intently at the view. The redhead was right. It's stunningly beautiful. "Yes. I wish I had my canvas and paints with me."

"Kaede..." Sakuragi called in a mellow voice. He slowly unbuttoned his shirt and reveal his muscled chest and stomach when he faced him. "I want you to draw me like one of your masterpiece...wearing this...

"All right..." He replied, but something sounds so familiar but quite different. Something isn't right between the line.

"Wearing only this..." Pointing at his wristwatch.

Rukawa's eyes widened to realize what he really meant about that, then chuckle as he remembered the famous movie line. "Rose?..." He grinned.

"Baka! learn to read the mood, will you?! You should called me Jack...you stupid fox...nyahahaha..." Sakuragi laughed out loud, that at least took away the awkward tension between them. He's at ease now to say everything he wanted to tell him.

"Crazy!" Rukawa shouted but laughing heartily with him.

The redhead move closer and stand so close to him. He took Rukawa's hand and locked against his. "Kaede...yes...I'm crazy for you."

His other hand, Rukawa laid his palm flatly on the redhead's chest. No wonder why so many other men right after him. He's body was worth dying for. Perfectly build with those fine muscle lines in his chest down to the stomach. He could now feel and hear his rapid heartbeat as he looked straight into Sakuragi's eyes.

"Touch me once and you'll know it's true...I never wanted anyone like this...It's all brand new..." He move forward and planted a lightly kiss to his lips. " you'll feel it in my kiss. I'm crazy for you..." He put his hand over Rukawa's then took it to his lip, planted another kiss.

"Aren't you supposed to sing it...Hana-kun?"

"Tsk. I'm a gardener not a singer..you know..."

"-.-"

"Kaede... I don't care...so sue me Later...

"Hn? Why?"

"Because... I can't stop my self. I wanna rape you right here...right now..." He said in a very seductive way and tone. Eyes locked on him.

Rukawa move forward to lean. "I don't mind getting rape inside the car..." He whispered, blushing while biting his lower lips.

Sakuragi nipmin his ear and lick his neck. Snake his arms to his neck to pull him closer. Resting his forehead against him. "I love you Kaede..."

"I love you more Hana-kun"

Sakuragi catch his lips again in a more intimate ways, both daze and felt burn with each others featherly touch. After the passionate kisses ended, Rukawa guided the redhead to his car, coz it's more spacious. As he opened the door, he went inside first followed by the redhead behind. They close and lock the door. Headlights turn off. And the car move eventually, bouncing up and down.
