In which they get married.

A/N: Well, I'm finished with this! It has been wonderful writing these! Now, some of these have some tense problems because it was written in present tense originally.

You guys might want to check my other fic, Better Days to Come. It's post!anime-verse. I think I'm making another kanokido au, but I don't know how to start it OTL.

BUT – thank you all for reading this!

Shuuya breathed in, breathed out. He was trying to breathe calmly, but he could feel his heart hammering in his chest, he was sure that Kousuke could hear it. He wanted to flatten his new hair cut one more time, but his palms were sweaty and it wouldn't have looked presentable with the small audience. So he settled with a smile.

He looked around the old-fashioned chapel, filled with red and white. He shot one more nervous glance at Kousuke, and looked straight ahead.

The music began and the doors opened and it hit him – he's getting married. He repeated it over and over in his head, he's getting married.

And then she was there. Tsubomi. She was walking alone, confident and strong. He dress gliding down the red aisle runner. With her small smile, Shuuya relaxed a bit. He returned the smile with his own and forgot everyone surrounding them. He felt Kousuke patting he shoulder and it's like their kids again, playing 'marriage.'

When Tsubomi finally arrived at the altar, Shuuya couldn't stop looking at her. He gulped, he wanted to run away and hide. His palms were sweating like hell and his heart was beating too fast he thought he was going to have a heart attack. But Tsubomi reached for his hand, their fingers intertwined, she was trying to tell him that everything was alright. He breathed in, breathed out.

The red surrounding them reminded Shuuya of Ayano, and he wondered is his nee-chan was watching them. And then he focuses on Tsubomi and she is just beautiful.

His mouth opened to say his vows, but he couldn't hear himself. The practiced words were just flowing out of his mouth – he was too busy focusing on the woman in front of him. Her cheekbones were lifted and she said her vows. He heard them before, over and over again, but he hears them clearly now – but doesn't comprehend. He was too nervous and in love. Her thumb was rubbing against the other side of his palm. He was trembling and he didn't even notice until then. Tsubomi was calm, saying the vows they had practiced with ease.

He knew it was time so he swallows, "I do." He said confidently, squeezing Tsubomi's hand in front of him.

She squeezed his trembling hand back. "I do."

He didn't even hear the minister anymore, because it was only the two of them that mattered right then.

He lifted her veil and he is greeted by the sight of Tsubomi smiling. He didn't deserve this woman. He was a devil child, a monster. He didn't deserve love from this amazing, beautiful person. Shuuya's furrowed his eyebrows together, his eyes start to sting. But he too, loves her too much and he can't help but smile as well.

Shuuya didn't notice he was crying before Tsubomi wiped a tear off his cheek. Both of her hands are on each sides of his face and he sees her muttering words, trying to calm him down. He nodded his head slightly. He is ready to get married. He closed his eyes, breathed in, accepts this wonderful woman's love, and kissed her. He knew ever since the beginning, this is what he wanted. He smiled and he's happy and he knows she's happy.
