My first crossover! Pairings are the same, except it's Hermione x Harry. For some reason, I like both of them together!

Here, well Bella never really let it go that far with Jacob – translation, she didn't really get that insane, I couldn't help it so I altered Bella's character a little. Victoria dead so Eclipse is sort of over. Edward hasn't proposed yet, at least in my story. I want to make their proposal special. Bella came back to Forks when Harry, Hermione and Ron went to hiding, by Hermione request to take care of her parents, who were living in USA instead of Australia. Although Bella had been reluctant, but then when she couldn't resist joining them, a problem occurs which makes her stuck in Forks.

You'll find out the problem soon.

Chapter – 1

It was a very fine day for me at the Cullen's residence. I sighed in contentment and snuggled against the cold hard, yet comforting chest of my boyfriend. He returned the gesture. Does finishing Victoria makes me happy make me cruel? Afterall, it all started from killing her mate.

But he tried to kill me, so it doesn't really.

I snuggled deeper into Edward's chest, eager to get more of his touch.

It was a fine day for Cullens too. A very fine day you could say. Alice was gushing about new dresses to Esme and Rosalie in her room. Jasper and Emmett were playing a new released game in their x-box. Carlisle was having a good study in his study room and Edward and I was sitting relaxed in a settee.

Then I just had this sinking feeling as my bracelet burnt. The same bracelet Hermione gifted me on my last birthday for our communication.

This horrible feeling only got worst as Edward gasped and took my hand where he felt the burn of the bracelet too. He eyed the bracelet while I gently touched the bracelet to stop the heating and read the message.

HELP.

The sinking feeling got more horrible than before, if possible.

They were in danger, she could feel it. My Golden Quartet in danger. Hermione, Harry, Ron…

"Bella, are you alright?" Jasper asked suddenly, all of the Cullen family suddenly grouped in front of the settee where I was sitting. I was busy blinking back tears.

"Despair? Fear?" Edward voiced out from the silent internal conversation with Jasper. Jasper just nodded.

I was breathing deeply to keep myself from hyperventilating. They were in danger. I have to help them. But I didn't even know where they were. Tracking charm would take hours! Merlin knows what might happen to them till then!

Like Merlin had heard me himself, a crack resonated walls of Cullen's house. I pulled out my wand in reflex; not caring at everyone's questioning looks.

It was Dobby.

"Harry Potter's Isabella!" Dobby squealed, his round starry eyes shining with tears. The Cullens did a double take. Carlisle stared at the creature with apprehension and a pinch of curiosity. Esme gasped and pulled Carlisle by arm. Jasper crouched in a predatory fashion, frowning deeply, a low growl emitting from his chest. Alice just had a lost look in her face, probably trying to see the future, but got frustrated at the lack of communication. Emmett just gawked at me, then Dobby, then back at me. Rosalie kept her eyes at the creature with unmasked shock written all over her face. Edward stood motionless with wide eyes, his gaze burning for answers.

"Dobby!" I raced towards the house elf. He raced back and clutched my leg tightly.

"Harry Potter and his friends are in danger! Dumbledore told me to ask for your help! Please come with me!" the elf beseeched as he sobbed on my jeans, but I was beyond caring.

Clothes didn't matter to me at all when my best friends were in danger.

"I will come with you Dobby. Just please stop crying and tell me the location," I asked shakily the elf as I gently pried his away from my leg and gently clasped his shoulders as I kneeled down. He rubbed his running nose on the rag he was wearing and looked at me with those wide grateful eyes.

"M-Malfoy Manor," the elf said in a squeaky and scared voice. I gasped as I stood up. I turned to face the spectators, the vampires who were burning with questions.

"Not now guys. My friends are in danger!" I said before they could start. I turned to Dobby.

"Will there be injured people?" I asked. Dobby nodded vigorously, his ears flapping like wings. I nodded. I turned to Carlisle and took his cold hand in mine.

"I will send injured people here. Please start treating them here as soon as possible," I implored Carlisle, who looked shocked and concerned, but nodded. I turned to Edward who gave me the lost look worst than Ron's. I gave a humorless chuckle. I pecked him once on the cheek.

"Wait for me," I whispered, knowing everyone heard me. Edward frowned as he read Alice's thought, as he tilted his head in her direction.

"What do you mean you can't see her future?" Edward asked with a low growl. I don't have time for this. I took Edward's face in my hands.

"Please Edward. I know the reason. Just know this for now. I am not exactly normal or human for that matter, just trust me and wait for me." I said as I walked over to Dobby and grabbed his hand. Before Edward could say anything to stop me, I apparated.

I apparated to a cold dungeon, no- a cellar.

"DOB-!" Ron was cut off mid yell by Harry as he hit him on the arm to stop his shouting. Ron looked terrified at his mistake. Footsteps echoed above our heads.

Dobby's enormous, tennis-ball-shaped eyes were wide; he was trembling from his feet to the tips of his ears. He was back in the home of his old masters, and it was clear that he was petrified.

"Harry Potter, Dobby and Harry Potter's friend Isabella has come to rescue you," he squeaked in the tiniest quiver of a voice. Harry looked over me as he noticed my presence for the first time. I could see a tiny glimmer of tear in his eyes; he looked hopeful, happy and very relieved. He smiled at me, I smiled back. I was engulfed in a hug by Ron.

"They took her… H-Hermione…" Ron sobbed on my shoulder. I hugged him back hard, my insides twisting in concern for Hermione. Please, oh please let her be safe…

"But how did you-?" Harry started but got drowned by a loud scream. I paled with realization: Hermione. I knew that pitch of my best friend.

They were hurting her! My bet was on the deadly torture of the Cruciatus curse.

God, give her power to fight it.

"You can Disapparate out of this cellar?" Harry asked, cutting to the essentials desperately. He looked over again, his eyes unconsciously searching for Hermione well being. Dobby nodded with his ears flapping.

"And you can take humans with you?" Harry asked. Dobby nodded again.

"Right. Dobby, I want you to grab Luna, Dean, and Mr. Ollivander, and take them — take them to —"

"To Cullen's residence where you apparated Dobby. Carlisle is a good doctor!" I piped up.

The elf nodded for the third time.

"And then come back, can you do that Dobby?" Harry asked.

"Of course, Harry Potter," whispered the little elf. He hurried over to Mr. Ollivander, who appeared to be barely conscious. He took one of the wandmaker's hands in his own, and then held out the other to Luna and Dean, neither of whom moved.

"Harry, we want to help you!" Luna whispered.

"We can't leave you here," said Dean.

"Go, both of you! We'll see you at the Cullens!" Harry whispered, his eyes scrunching momentarily in pain. I saw that, and Harry saw that I noticed. My eyes narrowed.

'Later.' He mouthed. I nodded.

Hermione screamed again and I shivered, my heart trembling at my best friend's ordeal. This was so messed up. I couldn't really wait to see Hermione, as those awful screams really sounded like Bellatrix.

"I am coming with you," I said and raised my eyebrows as Harry started to complain.

"I am not injured Harry. We have to save Hermione, hurry!" I said and Harry nodded, like a leader tendency he had.

"Go!" Harry beseeched Luna and Dean. "Go! We'll follow, just go!"

They caught hold of the elf's outstretched fingers. There was another loud crack, and Dobby, Luna, Dean, and Ollivander vanished.

Edward's POV

I rubbed my eyes, most human would do it out of tiredness, but I was feeling so human with the amount of worry weighing down on me as Bella disappeared. In thin air.

That was unbelievable.

"I know!" I moaned at Alice's thoughts. Not only hers, everyone had the same thought. It was almost… magical. How can Bella disappear just like that with that round eyed, bat-eared creature? Thousands and thousands of questions were swirling in my mind, but most important of them were: Was she safe? Where was she?

Are there more creatures out there other than us? It was Jasper with a deep frown.

Will Bella be alright? Alice was tapping her foot with worry, a scowl etched on her face at the hazy future. Esme's thoughts were also in same direction, squeezing Carlisle's hand, who returned back the squeeze.

What is Bella hiding from us? Rosalie thought suspiciously. I gave a low growl. She scowled at me.

I am just curious. I could feel some of her worry in her thoughts like other members, but she was trying to hide it. I gave a small smile despite the nagging worry, which was slowly starting to eat me.

How can they just disappear like that? Even Vampires can't do that! It was, of course, Carlisle.

Did you see that!? Holy crow it was weird! It was Emmett who was still imagining the creature and it sobbing on Bella's leg. Bella seemed to know it. The surprised expression was still etched on his face, rooted on the spot as he continued staring at the spot where they just disappeared, hoping that they would come back and quench his burning curiosity.

And they did.

Well, not Bella. My worry notch raised two points up.

With a loud crack people fell down in the living room, one of them fell on the sofa, while others fell on the polished wood of the floor. One of them groaned. A dark guy, who was rubbing his behind, looked like he was in a lot of pain. Alice was just going to help him get up.

"Hmm… the landing was safe," a dreamy voice said, the one which landed on the sofa. Heads of my family snapped to her direction.

She looked young, sixteen or seventeen with sapphire blue eyes and long dirty blonde hair and skinny figure, hinting that she had been starved. Her expression looked so serene, that I almost thought she was half-asleep. But I could hear her thoughts.

Oh dear, will Harry, Ron, Hermione and Bella will be okay?

Then the image appeared on my mind, a dark and dangy cellar surfacing her mind as Bella popped out of nowhere with a stick in her hand.

Thank goodness she was safe. But that doesn't mean she is safe now.

"I wouldn't say that for myself," a voice grunted from the ground as Carlisle raced towards the teen and checked for injuries.

Carry him Edward, my father's said, pointing to the old man, who was unconscious.

I carried the old man carefully, afraid to touch his broken bones.

"I must go away!" the creature named Dobby squeaked and disappeared with a crack. Our sensitive hearing only made us jump in surprise at the spot where Dobby vanished.

Carlisle checked the tall dark guy who looked no older than seventeen, touching him carefully, mildly wincing at the bruises all over his faces.

"What was Bella thinking when she suggested a family of Vampires?" Dean asked weakly. His thoughts were weak; it was difficult to concentrate on them. Everyone in the room gasped except the blue eyed girl and unconscious old man.

"They are animal drinkers Dean," the girl said dreamily as she eyed us curiously. She wasn't even afraid of us! Emmett was devastated at their lack of reactions; Rosalie was considering growling at them. I gave her a warning glance, she just slightly shrugged.

The guy called Dean looked surprised as he looked in the eyes of Carlisle and gasped.

"You are right Luna," Dean said with muted awe in his voice. Luna just hummed, her thoughts still hovering over the cellar. She had the faintest crease of worried frown between her eyebrows.

I raced and placed the old man on Carlisle's emergency bed which was placed in his office, prepared as Bella told us there would be injured people. I raced back down.

I abruptly placed my hands on the dreamy girl's elbow and smiled at her. She didn't return one back and just stared at me, and then slowly smiled back and brushed something off my shoulder.

"Preepyumps are not good for Vampires," Luna said with a small click of her tongue and took my help and let her stand. She hopped on her good leg, which made me realize that she had just sprained her ankle.

"Can you walk?" I asked gently. Luna was thinking she should say she was fine, but her logical side won because it really did hurt. She shook her head.

The three women raced towards the girl, Alice taking her hand, Esme rubbing her back and Rosalie supporting her if she couldn't handle herself.

We've got this Edward, go help Carlisle. Esme thought.

My last fluttering thoughts before racing back to the makeshift Library were about Bella's wellbeing as I joined where Carlisle was working.

X-X-X-X-X-X-X

I am not normal.

She looked like a human, smelled like a human. Why did she say she wasn't normal? It has been more than an hour! I raced downstairs over that stop where Dobby disappeared, again in hopes that Bella would fall out of thin air.

And she did.

With five thumps people fell down, where Bella lied awkwardly, her legs tangled with a lanky boy with bright red hair which seemed like they used to be shiny at one time, a curly haired brunette who looked the worst, the delectable scent of her blood hitting my nose, I held my breath. Jasper held his breath too, his expression oddly mixed between pity, pain and hunger.

She was lying in a very awkward angle, her leg and few of her ribs seemed broken, she was badly bruised. A man, no a boy started to move.

He had darkest of brown, almost black hair with greenest of eyes I had ever seen, glittering like emeralds as he crawled over to the curly haired brunette, looking at her with deepest concern and nodded at the ginger haired boy, who pulled her and carried her inside. That wasn't what attracted my interest, those eyes were mesmerizingly beautiful, but it was the gaunt look in them which slightly muted its brilliance.

"Argh…" Bella groaned, twisting her wrist and wincing when she moved her leg. She crawled to a very small figure with long ears and long crooked nose and dark curly hair, he was staring at us with shrewd and in pain black beetle eyes.

I came beside Bella immediately, touching her foot gently, she winced again and sighed when I let go.

"Nothing I can't fix," Bella muttered as she uncorked a vial out of her pocket and drank in one gulp, giving a look of great distaste. She gave one to the creature too, who just looked at her with distrust glinting in his eyes, and I fought back a growl. She just frowned at the creature.

"If I would have to kill you, why would I save your ass in the Malfoy Manor, Griphook?" Bella asked in a very quiet voice. The creature named Griphook just gave her a sneer, showing his extraordinary set of teeth (ignoring Emmett's mental comment) and snatched it from her hand.

The green eyed boy just stared at the place, like confirming that they were in a safe place, his eyes squinting at the ceiling. He looked back wide eyed at the sudden appearance of each of my family members.

"Dobby, is this Cullen's house?" he whispered, clutching the two sticks similar to Bella had, yet different, looking ready to fight if he needed to as he stared at us suspiciously. "Have we come to the right place? Dobby?"

He looked around. The little elf stood feet from him.

"DOBBY!"

The elf swayed slightly, stars reflected in his wide, shining eyes. Together, he and Harry looked down at the silver hilt of the knife protruding from the elf's heaving chest.

"Dobby — no — HELP!" Harry bellowed towards us "HELP!"

Harry laid the creature down in the most wide eyed fear, tears flowing helplessly from his glittering emerald eyes, his glasses cracked. Dobby's tiny fluttering heartbeat was fading, and I knew he was close to his death. No one can help it anymore. I crouched down and took his tiny scrawny hands in mine. I didn't know what drove me to do this, as Bella sat completely petrified, when she caught my eyes; she started rummaging through her pockets. She cussed out wildly and crawled towards Dobby.

"No! Please Dobby! Wait I will search for something in my house!" Bella said, tears flowing helplessly from her chocolate brown eyes. She tried to stand up, but the scrawny hand in mine's gently tugged her sleeve and stopped Bella from moving. She looked at elf with tearful horror. She choked on a sob, shook her head as if trying to clear it, trying to feel that it was just a figment of her imagination after her adrenaline episode.

"Dobby, no, don't die, don't die —" the boy was whispering in hopelessness.

Dobby's eyes found him, and his lips trembled with the effort to form words.

"Harry . . . Potter . . ."

And then with a little shudder Dobby became quite still, and his eyes were nothing more than great glassy orbs, sprinkled with light from the stars they could not see.

"… Dobby… Dobby…" Harry whispered, his despair and sorrow so deep that Jasper sank to his knees. Alice clasped his shoulders with concern. Harry chanted his name like a mantra, hoping that the glassy eyes will blink with life again.

Harry turned the blonde man he saw carrying Hermione further.

"H-Hermione? How is she?" he asked with that same cold yet desperate voice, his eyes showing different yet deep hurt and sorrow like it did for Dobby.

"I wouldn't say she is fine. She is badly injured; some of her bones are broken. She looks like she had been tortured. There are two deep gashes on her body, one on neck and other… other o-on her forearm," Carlisle said with extreme difficulty, his eyes burning with rage I never imagined Carlisle could possess. The image surfaced in his mind of that broken girl as he pulled the sleeve of his shirt.

The scar which was bleeding in angry red lines, were letters jagged deeply in capitals, covering her forearm.

MUDBLOOD.

I gasped quietly and looked at Carlisle's pained expression, which I am sure was matching with my own. Everyone looked at us in concern and mild confusion at our sorrowful expression.

The handsome boy named Harry gave the most hating glare at the ground when he heard the news. The greenest eyes flashed back at us with strong gratitude.

"I- thank you." He whispered. My eyes narrowed slightly at his slightly protected thoughts, it was almost like Bella's but not mostly. I could hear some of his thoughts, but some of them were like he turned them off.

"It's alright child, you should get yourself checked too," Carlisle said gently, patting Harry's shoulder. He stared at the blonde man wordlessly. Bella crawled and placed her hand on Harry's other shoulder.

Harry looked back at Dobby. He stretched out a hand and pulled the sharp blade from the elf's body, then dragged off his own jacket and covered Dobby in it like a blanket.

"W-we should bury him," Bella whispered. Harry just stared at her, then at the body. His thoughts were filled with hopelessness and sorrow at Dobby's death. Even if he just saved everyone's life, he gave his own without any hesitance.

"I want to do it properly," were the first words of which Harry looked like he was fully conscious of speaking. "Not by magic. Have you got a spade?" He turned to me, surprising me. I nodded mutely.

What was he talking about? Magic?

I stared at Bella, silently asking her to answer my questions. She gave me a look and mouthed: 'Later'. I nodded slightly.

Bella POV

It was sorrow, so deep just like the endless ocean. Just after he saved our lives. Just after he defied his previous masters. Did he deserve that? That bitch killed him.

I would never forgive her. She took lives of everything dear to us, Harry and me.

Dobby was a dear elf; he was a great friend in my fifth year. We often used to talk in the kitchen. He told me a lot about the elves, I in turn told him a lot about Harry and his life, as much as I knew, which often resulted in his dripping wet clothing and sniffing.

I sighed in sorrow as Harry dug on, deeper and deeper into the hard, cold earth of the forest, subsuming his grief in sweat. My face contorted in pain for both of them. Oh Harry…

Edward hugged me from my shoulder. He gave me an understanding smile and hugged me closer. I sobbed wordlessly on his shoulder.

Ron and Dean slipped slightly from my left side, both of them looking at us awkwardly. I just nodded my head, confirming their assumption. They gave a nod back of their own. They looked cleaner, Dean bandaged in leg and arm, his faces was still covered in bruises but he was wearing a shirt of one of the family members. He had a lean figure of Jasper, so I assumed it was his.

Ron looked like crap. He had dark circles under his eyes, hinting me of his sleepless nights. He still bore that slight horror and sorrow in his eyes when he heard Hermione's torture. He was pale; I wasn't surprised that he wasn't stuffing his face. I hardly felt like cleaning and eating after our getaway.

I was standing here for my best friend, Harry and try to give him as much comfort as I could. I wanted to be there for him. I politely refused Edward when he suggested that I should clean up.

Harry wiped his brow after half an hour, the grave dug but still incomplete as he climbed out. Edward gave me a nod and raced back to the house. I rejoined Harry with Ron and Dean.

"How's Hermione?" Harry asked with some emotion and life in his voice than he had before. I gave a very quiet sigh of relief. He sounded scarier like that than he is angry.

"Better," said Ron. "Esme's looking after her."

I picked up a spade from the ground and walked back to the mildly surprised company.

"Come on," was all I said and hopped down the hole. I heard them pick their and three of them hopped after few seconds. We together worked in silence until the hole seemed deep enough. We climbed out of the hole and walked to Dobby's lifeless wrapped up body.

Harry wrapped the elf more snugly in his jacket. Ron sat on the edge of the grave and stripped off his shoes and socks, which he placed upon the elf's bare feet. Dean produced a woolen hat, which Harry placed carefully upon Dobby's head, muffling his batlike ears. I pulled off one of the two golden lockets which were designed with the elf symbol and the other one with Dobby's family symbol the elf gave me once on my birthday gift. I was reluctant to accept it as it was his family treasure, but the elf welling in tears made me hastily accept it.

Now that I think about it, it's very pretty. I pulled one off with the Dobby's family symbol with a small sad smile on my face.

"It's his family treasure," I explained to everyone at their questioning looks. Harry nodded once, staring at me, knowing that there was something between us that he didn't know. I clasped the chain into his neck, tears falling wordlessly. None of the

boys commented or tried to console me, for which I was grateful. It was easy to ignore their concerned looks. But my demeanor clearly stated that I didn't need it, I was mourning for Dobby.

The Elf that Fought. I would make sure the elf society will know of his good deeds.

"I think we should close his eyes," Luna said. I jumped up in surprise. I looked back at every person present there. Even Rosalie had this glassy eyed expression, Emmett hugging her shoulders.

Carlisle was hugging his wife's shoulder and stared at the elf, his eyes conveying pity and sympathy. Jasper was getting affected by everyone's emotion, yet he held his fort. But he was staring at me.

I turned away when Alice placed a hand on his, breaking our eye contact.

Hermione was dressed in a comfortable soft blue dress, which looked like Esme's as she was her size. It was still loose and slightly hung on the skinny figure of my best girlfriend's body. Her face was frozen in shock; I assumed she just came to know that Dobby died.

Ron walked over to support her, which she accepted with tears silently running down her face.

Luna, who was huddled in one of the jackets which seemed like Edward's, crouched down and placed her fingers tenderly upon each of the elf's eyelids, sliding them over his glassy stare.

"There," she said softly. "Now he could be sleeping."

Harry placed the elf into the grave, arranged his tiny limbs so that he might have been resting, then climbed inside and gazed for the last time upon the little body, then climbed out. His shoulders were trembling, like he was trying very hard not to break down then and there. I knew he was thinking about Dumbledore's funeral.

I walked towards him and gave him my silent strength; I placed an arm over his shoulders. He barely nodded and me and bit his lip, using every ounce of strength left in him. He leaned on my comfort.

"I think we ought to say something," piped up Luna. "I'll go first, shall I?"

And as everybody looked at her, she addressed the dead elf at the bottom of the grave.

"Thank you so much, Dobby, for rescuing me from that cellar. It's so unfair that you had to die, when you were so good and brave. I'll always remember what you did for us. I hope you're happy now."

She turned and looked expectantly at Ron, who cleared his throat and said in a thick voice, "Yeah . . . thanks, Dobby."

"Thanks," muttered Dean.

Harry swallowed.

"Good-bye, Dobby," was all he said. I couldn't blame him; Luna already said everything even I wanted to say.

"You have been so brave Dobby; I know Gubly must be proud of you, you will be happy to meet her again. Say my hi to her, even though I haven't met her. She sounded like a good mother. Dabby will be so sad, but I promise I will help him…." I took a deep breath and said, "Magas Udum Foros," I said. It meant farewell in elf's language. I breathed in deeply and controlled another fresh wave of tears. I turned to Harry, who looked even more sorrowful at this point.

"Dobby, you were so brave, you were so… so nice. If it wouldn't be for you, I don't know what would have happened to me. I will be eternally grateful to you, all of us would. You are the most honorable elf I have ever met. We'll see you soon Dobby, on the other side," Hermione said with a scratchy voice. I looked at her and snaked and arm around her waist as well. The Golden Quartet stared at the grave silently. With one last look at Harry as I raised my wand, he nodded in assent.

I raised my wand, and the pile of earth beside the grave rose up into the air and fell neatly upon it, a small brownish mound.

I was thankful when I didn't hear the gasps from the Cullens
