Finally got there

Kelsi's POV

When we finally landed it was around midnight where we were at and the hospital wouldn't let me see Emmett until at least 9am the next morning, so we went to get a hotel. When we finally got to the hotel we only got one room that had two queen size beds so we could save money. The army refused to pay for anything which was weird but I'm not going to fight it because all I want to do is see my Emmett. As soon as we get to the hotel the boys helped me carry all the bags up to the room. And as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a light.

-Time Lapse-

When we finally get up in the morning its about 8:30 in the morning, so we rush to get ready and to the hospital. When we reached the hospital we asked for Emmett's room.

"Sorry only family is allowed back at this time." the nurse said with this really bitchy look on her face.

"I'm his wife you idiot, and these are members of his platoon that I will allow to come back with me." I say

"Well it doesn't say anything about a wife in his information." the nurse said.

" Ok, I've had enough, let me talk to his doctor now, or the chief of staff." I all but yell.

After I finish that sentence a doctor came up and asked how he could help us, and I told him who I was and he immediately took me back to Emmett's room.

"I'm soo sorry about that." the doctor said. "My name is Dr. Cullen, but you can call me Carlisle. I've been taking care of Emmett since he has been transferred here."

"Thank you, my name is Kelsi I'm Emmett's wife, and these are Edward and Jasper, they were in Emmett's platoon." I say holding out my hand to shake his.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Emmett wont stop talking about you and those three kids of his." Carlisle said looking me over." and the one coming soon I see."

I blushed looking down, "Actually he doesn't know I'm pregnant again." I say.

"Well lets, let you go see your Husband, I bet your worried sick about him." Carlisle led us to Emmett's room.

When we got to Emmett's room, Carlisle went in first to tell him that he had visitors.. I could hear that he asked who it could possibly be. Carlisle asked us to come in.

When I walk in I see Emmett laying in a bed with his right arm and both legs wrapped in gauze. When Emmett see's me his face lights up and a smile spreads across his face.

"Kelsi? What are you doing here? Where are the kids?" Emmett asks.

"Emmett your hurt, I came when I heard babe." I say with tears in my eyes. "and the kids are with your parents."

"I told you I would always come back" Emmett said with a chuckle and a grin and a wince in pain from the sudden movement.

I rushed over to him."Emmett are you okay? What can I do to help?" I ask in a panicked voice.

He takes a few deep breaths and says he will be fine, he looks down and sees my stomach and is shocked.

"What is it Emmett? What's wrong?" I ask.

"Who's is it Kelsi?" Emmett asks looking mad.

"Umm... Yours duh..." I say.

"How far are you? Why am I just finding this out about this?" Emmett says.

"I'm about 5 months along, almost 6 months." I say.

"Why am I just now being told?" Emmett says looking upset.

"We didn't have any phone calls or video calls since I found out and it didn't seem right emailing, or sending a letter to you." I say with tears in my eyes.

"So... What are we having babe?" he asks me.

"I don't know, I wanted to share that surprise with you. But I do know that there is only one baby in here this time." I say rubbing my belly.

"Kelsi if you guys would like I could perform an ultra sound later today if you guys would like." Carlisle offers.

I look at Emmett as if to ask if he wants that, he nods his head and tells Carlisle that we would love that. After he is done I lean down and kiss his lips tenderly.

Emmett scoots over on the bed and motions for me to join him. "Emmett its a little tight up there with just you on it, I don't want to hurt you." I say with a sad face. Carlisle sees this and says he could get a bigger bed for in here if we would like. We both look at him and say yes at the same time causing Edward, Jasper, and Carlisle to all chuckle. Then Carlisle leaves to ask about a bigger bed for the room.

Emmett asks where we are staying and we tell him, and he says, "Damn that's a shitty place to stay, why is the Army putting you guys there?" We all look sad and tell him how we are paying for it' because the army refused to pay for me to come, so I had to use our miles and money to get over here. When we are telling Emmett this Carlisle walks in and says "That is nonsense come stay with me and my wife. We have a big house with tons of room. you can guys can stay there for free to." We all look at him in shock and thank him. Of course he replies that it is no problem and that it is the least he can do.

-Time Lapse-

After Carlisle tells us this he has us go check out of the hotel and gives us the address for his house and said that his wife would be waiting there for us to show us to our rooms and help us get comfortable. after we are all settled in we head back to the hospital to Emmett and I bring the bag I packed for him with me. When he saw the bag he sarcastically said, "Oh, is that for me?" I look at hi and tell him, "Yes, I thought you would like some of your own clothes and things while you were here."

After a couple more hours Carlisle said that he could do the ultra sound now if they would like. Of course both of us wanted to see the baby. As soon as we heard the heartbeat Emmett started crying. When I looked over at him I was surprised to see this and asked if he was ok, then I realized that this is his first time hearing this, with the triplets he wasn't there to experience any of this, and that made me so happy to experience this with him. When Carlisle was finished with the general measurements and health things he asked if we were ready to know what we were having. Of course we said yes...

A/N: I know it's been awhile since I've posted I've had major writers block, and I've been working alot. So I know that I just kinda left it hanging there on the end, but I need your guys help. What should their next baby be girl/boy? And what name? Also I am looking for a BETA, so who ever is interested please PM me... thanx... :)
