Summary: Death is reoccurring, sometimes by chance and other times by force. No one can stop it. No matter how hard you try to prevent it from hunting you down, death will always catch you off guard and silence your cries. You're a fool if you think it's just an accident.

Review Responds:

Casseg:I'm glad I'm not the only one that wished that! I wished he focused more on Gray (or just told us who Silver was), but hey this is what I get for liking the main side characters.

Doubled-Helix: Yup his name is Adam – or was Adam, but he's dead now. Wait – me…evil? OH HELL YES! Muahahahah! I'm so excited. I wonder how well I make cookies now. Hmmmm, cookies…

Rewinsan: He is in bad condition…and to be honest, I didn't know how I was going to finish this story. So I just started typing without any knowledge of where I was going…(this chapter). I got my idea about the fake Fairy Tail Mages with Mashima's one-shot with Erza.

Guest: Thanks for the review, as for Gray…well you can see in this last chapter.

Just Me: Holy shit! Thanks :D Hawaii was amazing! I hope they make it to him in time, too. But it would be really bad if he moved, right? Hehe, thanks for the review, it made me smile.

vanessa cruz: Thanks so much! I'm glad you like it, but this is the last chapter, so the story is ending here! But I hope you really enjoyed it.

Thanks for all the reviews, I love and cherish all of them! :D

A/N: I know this update is late at night, but hopefully you'll see past that and enjoy this last chapter :) Did everyone have a nice Easter? Did you get candy? I got chocolate – a shit tone…and it was all gone that night. Oh and I got Pez to.

Warning: Cussing, there may be a little OOC (hopefully not), and slight grammar/spelling errors.

Disclaimer: Alright, so I'm going to get Hiro Mashima over to the US and then lock him in my closet till he produces some stuff I have in mind! Oh and he won't get out till he tells me who Silver is, because good God almighty, I want to know! But I'm pretty sure I'll be arrested if I do that…so I'm not going to. I guess I'll have to be patent and wait like everyone else…*les sigh* the struggle is real people, the struggle is real.

If you Could Understand,

That when You're Face with a Problem,

You Half to Walk it Off,

Fight the Enemy,

and Stand Strong.

"How could he have thought that?" Lucy whispered underneath her breath. Looking up from the ground, her eyes became fire and angered confusion boiled in her stomach. "We would never do such a thing. We are Fairy Tail," she stated with triumph, "We protect those who can't protect themselves! We don't…harm them," Lucy finished as she held her mark close to her heart.

Natsu growled and clenched his fists, "Damn bastard is going to pay."

"We will take care of this later," Erza clicked the handcuffs shut, "but as of right now, we need to get to Gray."

Stepping over her captive, Erza nodded towards Natsu. "Lead us to Gray, Natsu."

With that, Natsu turned and bolted towards his destination.

He tried to keep his pace steady, but his feet slipped on the mud and he stumbled forward. That was the thirteenth time he's stumbled in the last five minutes – but it wasn't like he was counting or anything.

He slowed his pace and he pressed his against his stomach. Damn he was hungry.

Hungry, ha – ya right. Hell even if he ate something, the ghost phantom growl would probably still reverberate throughout his body. Plus he'd bet that the food would just slip out.

His hand shakily rose up from his abdomen revealing a hand drenched in crimson paint. Shit.

He knew walking was a bad idea. The ice probably melted away by now. His mind was turning into mush making his magic into shit.

He couldn't even think straight.

But despite the lack of focus he knew he had one thing to do…

Natsu skidded to a halt and scanned the area.

"Shit," he cursed. His heart jumped to his throat as he looked around the area.

"Natsu, where is Gray?" Erza demanded.

"He-he was right here," Natsu growled out. "Right here! That bastard told me he'd be right here!" Damn it, Natsu clenched his fists in worry, he trusted the damn ice princess.

"Was he further down?"

"No, no," Natsu shook his head, "Damn princess was right here."

"Wait," Lucy pushed past Natsu. "What's this?" She pointed towards the ground.

There near the line of trees, was a trail of blood. The ground was littered in crimson dots that produced a path into the forest before the track was absorbed by darkness.

"Blood," Natsu spat out. "Fucking bastard said he'd seal his wound."

"Wound," Erza asked in confusion. "…Natsu, what's wrong with Gray?"

"Is he alright," Lucy questioned.

"Gray's fine," Natsu whispered, "damn bastards always fine."

Lifting his head, Natsu set his eyes upon the trail of blood and followed it swiftly. It wasn't long before his feet fell into a quickening pace and the Dragon Slayer flew deep into the forest, leaving the two other Mages behind – despite their demands for him to slow. As he ran, the path of blood grew and more splotches of blood appeared along the swaying path.

Natsu caught a whiff of the Ice Mages scent and slowed his pace, he was getting close. Then after a few paces, Natsu spotted the Ice bastard.

Gray was leaning against a tree, his arm stretched out, supporting his weight.

"Oi," Natsu shouted, "Next time I leave you behind to gather yourself-" But he stopped, his sentence caught in his throat. His eyes grew and he stopped dead in his tracks.

The Ice Mages skin was white and clammy; his hair was drenched in the recent falling rain. But as Natsu locked eyes with Gray, he took a step back in shock. His eyes that use to be so bright and cold were now dull and dead.

"Gray," Natsu questioned and thank God, the man in front of him responded. Gray's eyes traveled up to meet Natsu's, but every other response Natsu was hoping for didn't come. "O-oi," Natsu stuttered, "you alright?"

Gray blinked sluggishly towards the Dragon Slayer.

Ripping his sight from Gray, Natsu looked towards Gray's stomach and swallowed. "Damn," he shook his head, "why didn't you seal that up?"

Gray's stomach was ripped through, few large chunks of the wood remained around the circle that was punched through the Ice Mage's abdomen. The sides dripped with blood, streams of the liquid slid down the Mage's stomach and drenched his pants in blood.

The stench was overwhelming.

"…Tried," Gray spoke lifelessly, his voice dull just like his eyes.

"What?" Natsu swallowed.

"Hurts," Gray spoke again.

"Damn, where's Wendy when you need her."

"Am…" Gray began, his eyes moving sluggishly back up towards Natsu's, "…Dead?"

Natsu's eyes held the Ice Mages gaze, "Tch. You?" Moving towards his friend, Natsu lit his hand ablaze and with his other, he grabbed Gray's shoulder. "Gray," Natsu's voice rang with authority. "You're alright, but I need to seal that wound up, aright?" The other Mage didn't respond, making Natsu swallow in worry.

It was like talking to a corpse.

But Natsu didn't focus on that, he needed to seal up the gaping wound in Gray's stomach. But before he could his voice was called.

"Natsu!" Lucy called, running towards the two of them, Erza trailed behind her. "Gray," she whispered, stopping short of the two.

"He's fine," Natsu shook his head, covering his eyes with his soaked pink hair. Gazing at his hand that held fire, Natsu breathed out shakily and brought it to Gray's stomach.

"Stop."

He did.

Erza stepped forward, her graze held worry. "Natsu, stop."

"I need to seal it shut," Natsu motioned towards the hole in Gray. "He'll bleed out."

"Natsu," Lucy stepped forward, her hands held tightly towards her chest, and eyes filling with tears. "All the blood…and his skin-"

"No!" Natsu shouted in rage. They were giving up so quickly, it sickened him. "He's fine! I was just talking to him."

"Natsu…"

"Don't you see?" He questioned and his grip tightened on the Ice Mage, "He's fine! If he was gone – he wouldn't respond to me, like he has been. He wouldn't stand here and gaze at me like an idiot!"

"No, Natsu…"

"No!" He shouted again and his head flew up, revealing his rage filled watery eyes. "I didn't leave him to…no he's fine!"

"Then let go of him," Erza spoke, her voice strained.

Natsu shot an offended gaze towards the titan. "…Fine," he forced his hand to let go of his friend, and Gray's form crumbled. Falling past Natsu, the Ice Mage hit the ground in seconds, the mud jumping up from the ground in fright. Silence fell over the three standing Mages.

Erza kept her gaze hardened towards Natsu. Despite the falling tears that raced down her cheeks and large tug in her gut, Erza stood tall.

Lucy fell to her knees into the mud and let out a chocked sob as she covered her mouth and clenched her eyes shut.

Natsu? Natsu just stood his eyes widened in shock and heart stopped. Then he fell next to the Ice Mage and stared at the Mages form.

A/N: And that is the end to this story, ladies and gents! I really had no idea how I was going to end this fic, so if it seems a little off, please forgive me. I may come back and edit a few things – I'm planning to edit my other finished story too, アイスドラゴン for example. For the ending, I feel like Erza was just a bit too…mean (?), but Natsu was in denial, so I needed someone to snap him out of it. But thank you for reading and look out for my one-shot tomorrow. The top part of this story, the 'If you could understand', is from the titles of each chapter.

Thank you so much!
