The island only had one doctor and she lived on top of the mountain. "The captain says something and the navigator just agrees! Nami you might not make it!" Usopp cried as Vivi finished tying her to Luffy.

Luffy glared at his cowardly friend, "I'll make sure she makes it."

Sanji took a hit of his cigarette and nodded, "I'm coming to. I haven't agreed to let Nami stay under your protection."

Luffy nodded and took off as soon as he could. Every step he took got him closer to the doctor she so desperately needed. 'Got to go faster, faster.' When enemies appeared he cursed as he couldn't fight back he could only run. 'Faster, I need to go faster!' In his hurry, he ended up letting Sanji get hurt. "Hang on Nami, I have to get him." Taking off his coat and hat he found his cook and then carried the two of them through the thick snow. No one could stop him, he had reached the foot of the mountain and now he only had to climb.

Nami woke up when they first began to climb and she tried to control her breathing so she didn't distract Luffy. She looked up and saw how much further he had to climb. She felt her heart squeeze knowing he wouldn't give up, even with her dragging him down and with Sanji clenched between his teeth. "You can do it…"

Luffy heard her weak encouragement as she fell asleep again. He had to do it, Nami had told him he could do it, so he would. He forced his frozen and cold limbs to continue refusing to let them shut down when he had her on his back. After what seemed a lifetime he climbed to the top, "Made it…" However, his body could no longer function and he began to fall forward, "Doctor…you have to save her…" He felt the snow began to fall taking him and Nami with it when a hand grabbed onto his, "Save her! You have to save her! Take care of my friends and leave me, but you have to save them…you have to save Nami." When the creature before him nodded he felt relief and slowly fell into a deep sleep.
