And in this all the gods are not related so much together. And they did not have so many children.

Chapter 7

Percy (Poseidon) POV

I was worried that if the next time I meet Annabeth Chase, it would be terrible. I thought she will tell me to recite all the algebra formulae she taught me. You know, after all, she was my teacher. Instead our meeting was worse than that. She first uses me to get away from Will but then the next thing she says is that she already has a date. And that was Luke. I knew she was lying because when I asked all the guys who were their dates, Luke said he didn't have any.

I wanted to ask her out but she was really stubborn, insisting me to believe her lie. The reason I wanted to ask her out was, I wanted to know more about my past life and seeing those flashbacks I realized that she was someone that I use to think about most of the time. Maybe she feels the same for me. And she is just angry because I left her.

No Percy, that is not the hypothesis. When she talked to me it was like she really hated me with all her brain (the reason I didn't say heart is because I am sure she doesn't have a heart).

I aimlessly walked straight in the never ending hallways hoping to find Jason. I need a way to go back to my palace (Wow! How cool is that? I have my own palace! Okay Perce, stop fangirling). I didn't want to go through mortals and catch a cab. I am not a mortal and if I walk among the mortals, well, I don't want to wish to be a mortal. It just reminds me so much about my mom and my father, Paul.

"Percy? Are you lost?" I turned around and came face-to-face with Jason. He was wearing a plain purple shirt and black jeans. He was taller than me by an inch and had a scar on his lip.

"Yes. Actually, I was looking for you. Can you somehow transport me to my palace?" I asked him politely. Jason smiled wickedly and for a second I thought that I shouldn't have asked him that.

Okay, never ever ask the God of winds to transport you to some place. It might be the last thing you do. Jason made me fly all the way to the ocean. I didn't actually fly, it was just the winds carrying me. But it was terrible

The winds were roaring in my ears and my mouth tasted of metal. And don't even ask about the view. It was beautiful I agree, flying over the tall buildings of Manhattan. But I was afraid to fall. I was thinking that Jason suddenly thinks to kill me and throws me down on one of the buildings. Maybe this was the reason why I didn't like to travel through air.

I kept my eyes closed throughout the flight. I thought of things to distract me while flying. Mom, school, friends, sea, Panda bears!

I have no idea where last distraction came from though. Maybe because when I was five, I had a stuffed toy which was a panda bear. I still have it. In my apartment. A tear slid down my cheek thinking about the cozy apartment my mom used to share with me.

I opened my eyes to see that I was flying over the waters and the winds were about to dunk me in water. Through the clear waters I could see my palace right below it.

Then I started to fall.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" I screamed. But I had a soft landing. I was in the water and saw that I had landed right in front of the gateway of my palace.

The guards bowed down to me and I nodded at them. I went inside the castle and ran(Yeah! I can run in water) into my room and crashed on the bed. It was a tiring day and all I wanted was a goodnight sleep. I don't want anyone to ruin that. But of course, someone had to ruin that.

There was a small knock in the door and I grumbled a little while I walked towards it. When I opened the door there was mermaid. Yes a mermaid. She blonde hair and light blue eyes. She smirked at me and then bowed.

"Lord Poseidon! My name is Tiffany and I have been given orders from Lord Zeus to give you a little...tour around the palace." She giggled a little at the end.

"Uh sure? I mean, okay." I said uncertainly. I really didn't want to go on this tour but I really wanted to know more about the castle. Tiffany looped her right arm with my left arm and steered me away from my room.

"This the dining room!" Tiffany exclaimed as she showed me around the dining room. I have to admit she was really pretty. And nice too...

"So! Lord Poseidon! I am dying to ask you something. Do you remember what happened in your part life?" She asked that while looking at the floor, like it was going to collapse any minute.

"Um, no. Why? Is there something I should remember?" I ask her. When she looked up, I saw relief in her eyes.

"Oh nothing! Nothing Lord Poseidon!" She said hurriedly like she wanted the topic to end.

"Hey, don't call me Lord Poseidon okay? Call me Percy." I said to her with a smile.

"Okay, Percy." She giggled and winked at me and I winked at her back. Finally I made a friend. And then I thought about the ball which is tomorrow. I completely forgot about that. Mostly, I think because I don't have a date and I don't feel like going.

"Uh, Tiffany? Would like to go to the Olympian ball with me tomorrow?" After saying that I mentally face palmed myself. I mean, she is a mermaid after all. How will she come to the ball anyway

Before I could take back my words, Tiffany said "Sure!" Then she started to laugh and point at my face. I looked at my reflection on a plate and noticed my expression was really funny. I started to laugh with her too. The she stopped laughing and smiled at me "Don't worry Percy. I can change my tail into legs and I do have some human clothes." I breathed out of relief.

I looked at the time and saw that it was about to be 10 o' clock and I was feeling sleepy. "Tiffany, I am not hungry anymore and I am sleepy after this tour. I think I should call it night." I said to her. She giggled a little and gave me a kiss on my cheek.

"Goodnight Percy!" with that she swam away.

I jumped on my bed as soon as I entered my room. I didn't care which state I was in (even in a outfit which smells like sweat) but I was really tired.

I closed my eyes to sleep. I slept peacefully in that dreamless night.

A/N okay guys sorry for not paying attention to this story for a while even though it is my summer holidays. I'll try updating frequently.
