I will try to Fix you

Authors Note(I don't own any of the Glee characters) I didn't get feedback for the last chapter but it's alright, I'm just happy I'm finally able to finish one of my stories. It feels like I've been writing them forever and I'm never going to write this many at once again, lol. (Yes, I decided this is the last chapter, and I did a time jump) Enjoy, I hope the ending is satisfying for everyone. If not, I apologize in advanced but as the author I feel this is a good way to end it. It actually turned out longer than expected but I didn't want to drag the story out when I could just end it in one chapter.

Chapter Seventeen

Quinn and Santana arrived at the blonde's apartment roughly an hour ago and they're now looking online for available jobs, while cuddling, of course.

"I don't like any of these, and I can't do half of them, anyway. I need some kind of college degree." Santana grumbles.

"Don't give up, we'll find something."

Santana picks her head up from Quinn's shoulder then pecks the blonde's lips. "Thanks for the encouragement but I really don't think we're going to find something this time. The economy is still shit, and I don't have a college degree."

Santana goes into the kitchen to get something to snack on while Quinn continues to search online.

"Would it be so bad if you only worked at the diner, and did the intern job?"

Santana returns to the living room and drops next to Quinn on the couch.

"I need to pay rent. I can't do that on just the diner's salary." She explains.

Quinn bites her lip in thought. "What if you had a roommate?"

Santana shrugs. "If I could find one." There's a comfortable silence as Santana eats and Quinn tries thinking of a plan.

"This is gonna sound kind of crazy coming from me but you could ask Dani." Quinn suggests.

Santana arches her brow. "Dani?" Quinn nods. "Baby, you used to get jealous whenever she was around, now you want me to live with her?"

"Well, would you rather live with Elliot?"

Santana makes a face like she ate something sour. "No. I love the guy, he's one of my best friends, but there's no way I could live with him."

"Ok, then if you don't want to live with Elliot, or Dani, then you have to advertise for one. Make flyers and hang them around town."

Santana smirks then straddles Quinn's legs. "What if you were my roommate?"

"As much as I would love that, I also think it's too soon."

Santana sighs in defeat, knowing Quinn is right. "Then let's make some flyers. I need a roommate ASAP. Rent is due soon." Santana moves to get off Quinn's lap when the blonde pulls her back.

"Are you mad we can't live together?"

"No. I'm sad but I understand. You're right, it's too soon, but one day we will." Quinn blushes as Santana gives her a tender kiss.

"We should go to a craft store to make the flyers. You want them to stand out so people notice them. And I was thinking to put an ad in the paper, too. So when you go for your intern, you could ask Emily to put one in for you." Quinn suggests as they leave for the store.

"Good idea, babe. I'll be there tomorrow. I'm sure Em will be cool about it."

At the store, Quinn offers to pay for everything, still feeling guilty she was part of the reason Santana lost her job. As they wait in line, Santana spots a couple familiar faces.

"School project coming up?" The cashier asks the people ahead of them.

"Yeah, I have to make a volcano." The little boy says full of excitement. The cashier rings up their items then the woman gives him the correct bills and change.

"Have a nice day." He says.

"You, too." The woman takes the bag and tries to get her son to follow but something, or someone else has his attention.

"Mom, look, it's the waitress from the diner." Santana tries to look away but it's too late, he already spotted her. The boy frowns. Santana knows that look and curses under her breath.

"Damien, come on, honey, we have to go."

"But, Mami, why does-"

"We don't have time for this, I have work tonight and you have school tomorrow." Maribel says as she pulls Damien out of the store.

"He's going to start asking questions now."

Quinn rubs Santana's back as the cashier rings up their items. "Then she's going to have to deal with it, not you."

Back at the apartment, Quinn and Santana start right away with the flyers. Quinn also writes down what the ad should say so it's ready when Santana has to leave tomorrow. While they're busy making all the flyers, Mercedes and Brittany walk in.

"Hey, girl, watchya doing?" Mercedes asks.

"Aren't you two supposed to be at work?" Quinn asks as they make themselves at home.

"We took the day off, we've been working too much." Brittany answers for them.

"Yeah, we were turning into you and I wasn't letting that happen. If I'm going to find myself a nice man, I need a life outside of that place." Quinn snorts.

"What are you making?" Brittany asks.

"Flyers." Quinn says. "Santana needs a roommate. She got fired from the grocery store."

"Then stop what you're doing." Mercedes says, confusing the couple.

"Why?" Santana asks.

"Kurt has been crashing at my place ever since his ex kicked him out, this is perfect timing. He can bunk with you. And don't worry, the boy is really clean, he doesn't snore, he isn't loud, and he'll make breakfast in the morning."

Brittany nods in agreement. "His pancakes are super fluffy, it's like eating a cloud."

"Well, great but Quinn just wasted her money on all of this."

"I'll take it." Brittany offers.

Santana narrows her eyes, confused. "What could you possibly need this stuff for?"

Brittany shrugs. "I don't know yet. Maybe a bird feeder or something."

"This girl can make a bird feeder out of garbage." Mercedes says.

"Ok, so, who's telling Kurt, when is this going to happen? Cause rent is due soon and I can't pay it on my own."

"I'll call him." Says Mercedes as she takes out her cell phone from her purse.

Santana was in such a hurry to get a roommate, later that day, they were already moving Kurt into the loft. Kurt didn't have a problem with it either, as long as he got to have a tour of the loft before hand. In the end there were some things he wanted to fix but had no problem with the loft as a whole.

"What the hell are in these boxes, Hummel?" Santana grumbles as she sets a box down in Kurt's new room. Kurt walks in behind Santana with his own box.

"I think those are my shoes."

Santana glares at him. "How many shoes do you own?"

He shrugs. "Thirty, roughly." The brunette shakes her head as she leaves to retrieve another box, when Elliot walks in carrying a box. Santana got everyone she knew help move Kurt in, that way it would get done quicker.

"Where do you want this, Kurt?"

"Wherever you can find a spot is fine, thank you." Elliot puts the box next to the bed then stretches his muscles to prepare to bring in the next box.

"You know, I'm really looking forward to you moving in." Kurt blushes.

"Oh yeah?"

Elliot nods. "It'll be nice to have another guy to hang out with. I mean, the girls are cool but you gotta have some guy time."

Kurt chuckles. "Oh, well, then I guess you'll be disappointed. Most people tell me I'm like one of the girls."

Elliot looks at Kurt up and down, making him blush under his gaze. "I don't see it."

Mercedes, Santana, Quinn, Brittany and Dani suddenly walk in, all carrying boxes.

"That's the last of them." Mercedes says.

"Really?" Elliot asks. "It looked like there was more than that."

"Nope." Mercedes continues. "This is it."

"Cool." Elliot says.

"Thanks for all the help, guys." Says Kurt.

"When do we get paid?" Brittany asks.

Mercedes rolls her eyes. "She's joking."

"Do you need help unpacking?" Elliot asks.

Kurt gets flustered but manages to nod. "Yeah, thank you."

"Alright, well, we're gonna head out." Mercedes says. "I got things to do."

Santana scoffs. "Like what?"

"Like none of your business." Santana just laughs. "Q, control your girl."

Santana glares at Mercedes. "Control? I can't be controlled." Everyone, Quinn included, laugh at the brunette, making her pout. "Psh, you don't know me."

Quinn wraps her arms around Santana. "They're just teasing, babe." She says with a laugh.

"We'll see you tomorrow?" Brittany asks Quinn.

"No, it's my last day off and I plan on going out with Santana."

"Ok, we'll see you soon, then. Bye." Quinn pulls away from Santana so Brittany can give her a hug.

"Bye, ladies. Next time we see each other, I better not be put to work." Mercedes says. Both Quinn and Santana laugh in response as Brittany and Mercedes leave.

"I didn't know we were going anywhere." Santana says as she and Quinn go into the living room so they're not in Kurt and Elliot's way as they unpack.

"I was gonna tell you. I wanna take you to the movies this time. Normally I would want to do something more special with you but I want to spend as much time as I can with you before I have to go back to work. You'll be at The Times all morning, right?"

Santana nods. "Eight to three."

"Ok, then I'll check the times for the movie. Can I borrow your laptop?"

"Sure. It's on my bed." Quinn retrieves the laptop then returns to her spot next to Santana. While she searches the movie time, Santana turns on the tv. "What movie are we gonna see?"

"The Conjuring 2."

Santana's eyes widen. "Oh, hell to the no."

Quinn chuckles. "What's wrong, babe, you don't like scary movies?"

"Nope, I don't do scary. Let's see a comedy instead. Like, Finding Dory."

Quinn continues to laugh. "Ok, if you wanna see that instead we will..baby." She adds under her breath but loud enough for Santana to hear.

"What did you just call me?!" Santana asks with a laugh.

"Nothing. We'll see Finding Dory...baby." She repeats.

"Oh, that is it."

Santana chases Quinn around the living room as Santana's cell phone rings but they both ignore it. Quinn screams when Santana finally catches her, getting Kurt and Elliot's attention. The pair put a hold on unpacking to see what's going on. When they walk into the living room, Santana has Quinn pinned to the ground as she tickles her.

"What did we miss?" Kurt asks with a chuckle.

"Quinnie here called me a baby, twice." She adds.

"Well, you are." Quinn manages to say between laughing so hard.

"So what I don't like scary movies?!" Kurt and Elliot shake their heads, albeit smiling. "Take it back!" Quinn shakes her head. "Take it back or no sex for a week."

"Ok, ok, I take it back."

Santana smirks in victory as she stop tickling Quinn. "Now I know how to get you to do what I want." She says with a laugh.

Quinn scoffs. "Oh, like you wouldn't do the same if I threatened your sex life." Santana remains silent. Quinn chuckles as she reverses their position.

"And that's our que to leave." Kurt says pulling Elliot with him to the bedroom.

Santana and Quinn just laugh as Quinn helps Santana to her feet. Santana then goes to the kitchen and takes out the dessert from their date.

"So how long do you think it'll take for them to start dating?" Santana asks digging into the cake and talking with her mouth full. Quinn sits at the table with Santana.

"Who?"

Santana points her fork to Kurt's bedroom. "Hummel and Elliot."

Quinn shrugs. "I don't know, I haven't thought about it." Quinn gets her own fork and starts eating the same piece of cake. "How do you know they even like each other?"

"Please, Hummel's cheeks get so red you would think he's wearing blush."

"Wait, he doesn't wear blush?" Santana laughs then smears some frosting on to the blonde's nose. "San!" Quinn shouts wiping it off. "You're a child."

Santana sticks her tongue out and resumes eating the cake. "What time is the movie?"

"Seven. What do you wanna do until then?" Santana smirks. Realizing what her girlfriend is implying, Quinn scoffs then shakes her head. "No, we're not having sex."

Santana frowns. "We didn't get to last night, remember? You wanted to go home so you can see your nephew at the hospital early in the morning." Quinn nods. "Are we going to talk about that?" Santana asks trying to read Quinn's face.

Quinn sighs. "If you want to, we can."

"It doesn't matter if I want to, do you want to?"

Quinn takes a moment to give it some thought. "I didn't tell you about my sister cause we've never been really close, especially after I came out to her." She confesses. "I haven't seen Frannie or my parents in a couple of years after I told everyone I'm bi."

Santana slowly nods. "Well I hope I never meet them cause they'll get an ear full. No one treats my girl like shit and gets away with it." Quinn blushes then pecks Santana's lips. "Since you're telling stories now, what happened between you and Rachel?"

Quinn takes another deep breath. "It was just a few months after I came out to my family when we met. I went to a gay bar for the first time ever with Mercedes and Brittany." She begins. "Rachel was with her friends from off Broadway. We were both pretty drunk when we met." She says with a laugh. "We danced together almost all night and then I went home with her-"

"You had a one night stand?"

"Yes, and every time after that we would get drunk and have sex. It went on for almost a month. But as you know that never works out. I developed some feelings for her and she gave me the impression she felt the same way until Finn came into the picture."

Santana covers Quinn's hand with her own. "Do I have kick her ass?"

Quinn snorts, flashing a weak smile. "It would have been fine if she just told me she didn't want to date me. While she was pinning after Finn, she was still having sex with me. Whenever they fought, she'd come running to me, and whenever she had a gay panic, she'd run off with him." Quinn pauses to wipe a couple tears. "Rachel has two dads but she still panicked when she thought she had feelings for me."

Santana shakes her head. "What a fucking bitch." Quinn just shrugs, albeit with a hint of a smile. "But on the other hand, I'm glad it didn't work out between you cause then we wouldn't be together right now."

"No, we wouldn't." Quinn wipes the rest of her tears with a sigh. "Well I'm emotionally beat." Santana flashes a sympathetic smile. "We still haven't figured out what we're going to do until the movie, and I'm still saying no to sex." She adds.

Santana scoffs. "I can't believe you can say no to this." She says gesturing to her body.

Quinn blushes. "It's not as easy as you think." She admits. Santana chuckles. "Do you wanna do something with Elliot and Dani? I feel like we only hang out when they're bored."

Santana shrugs. "Sure. I think Elliot is still with Kurt in his room."

Quinn gasps. "I almost forgot they were in there, and you wanted to have sex." Santana just laughs as she watches Quinn to go Kurt's room. Kurt and Elliot are still unpacking as she lightly knocks on the door. "You guys wanna do something? I figured we can call Dani, too, if she's not busy."

Elliot shrugs. "I don't mind. But I don't think Dani is free. She might be out with her friends from the diner."

"Ok, what about you, Kurt?"

"I guess I can use a break. Where are we going?"

"We don't know yet." Quinn says with a laugh. "Santana and I just wanna kill some time before the movie tonight." She confesses.

"Well, you can never go wrong with shopping." Says Elliot. "Wanna go to the mall?"

"I could never turn down shopping." Says Kurt.

Quinn nods in agreement. "I'll ask San." Quinn goes into the living room to discover Santana standing in front of the opened front door but the brunette is blocking Quinn's view of the person on the other side. "Babe, who's at the door?"

Walking toward her girlfriend Quinn sees its Maribel.

"I tried calling." Says Maribel. "I got your number from the diner."

"How?" Quinn asks. "They're not supposed to give out personal information of their employees."

"I know the owners." She explains. "I just want to talk."

Quinn turns to Santana. "It's up to you, honey."

"He was asking questions you didn't want to answer." Santana says as a statement instead of a question, knowing she's right.

Maribel nods. "I wouldn't be here if he didn't."

Santana huffs. "Ok, fine. We can talk." Santana steps aside to let Maribel in.

"Uhm honey, before you do, do you want me, Elliot and Kurt to leave?"

Santana gives it some thought. "You can stay."

Quinn flashes a sympathetic smile. "Ok, I'll go kick them out."

Kurt and Elliot had no problem leaving so Santana could talk to her mother in private only if the couple promised to shop with them another time. While Santana and Maribel talk, Quinn watched tv in the living room, staying close by just in case.

"Did you tell him anything about me?"

"All I said was you're a part of my past." Santana scoffs. "He's smart, though, I think he's figured it out on his own. He noticed at the store how much you look a like."

"Then why are you here? Why are we talking about this if he knows already?"

"Because I wanted to know how you felt if he wanted to meet you."

Santana exhales. "Do you think he'll want to?" Maribel nods. Santana shrugs. "I guess I would be ok with that."

"Good, just let me know when a good day is for you."

"This weekend is fine, I'm not working at the grocery store anymore so I should have those days off now unless Emily needs me."

Maribel nods. "Do you still remember my number?" She asks in English this time.

"I think so."

"Call me when you're free. I know he'll want to meet you soon."

"I will. But this doesn't-"

Maribel nods, interrupting Santana. "I know. I'll work on getting your respect and trust back. That takes time." There's a short awkward silence. "I-I guess I'll be going now, that's all I needed to talk to you about."

Santana walks Maribel to the door. The pair exchange an awkward goodbye before Maribel finally leaves. Santana slides the door shut then sits next to Quinn on the couch.

"You ok?" Quinn asks rubbing Santana's knee.

"I guess. It'll be a little strange meeting my half brother, but it could be worse."

"Do you still wanna go to the mall with Kurt and Elliot? They should still be there, we can meet up with them." Quinn suggests.

"Yeah, ok. I can get a cute outfit for our movie date later."

Quinn chuckles. "Ok, I'll drive."

On their way to the mall, Santana texts Elliot so they can meet up. The boys greet them at the food court before they head off to a store.

"I can help you pick something out for your date, Quinn." Kurt offers.

"I'm not looking for an outfit for our date, Santana is."

Kurt examines both girls outfits then shakes his head. "I think you need a new outfit more than Santana does."

Quinn looks offended as Kirt drags Quinn to a clothing rack. Santana and Elliot just laugh then search for outfits themselves.

"How well do you know Kurt?" Elliot asks.

Santana scoffs. "Not well enough for you to interrogate me about him." She teases. Elliot blushes.

"I had a feeling you wouldn't but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask."

Santana chuckles. "I may not be very helpful, but I do think you two would be good for each other."

"Based on?"

Santana gestures towards Kurt across the room then to all the clothes. "Similar interests, for one. And I know you enough to know you'd be good to him."

Elliot gasps dramatically putting his hand to his heart. "Did the Santana Lopez just give me a compliment?" Santana scoffs rolling her eyes. "If only Dani was here to witness it."

"Fuck off." She says with a laugh.

"Babe, I'm gonna be in the dressing room, ok?" Quinn says rom across the room.

"Ok, I'll be here still looking." Quinn gives her a thumbs up then follows Kurt to the dressing room.

"Do you even know what you're looking for?"

Santana shrugs. "A dress. But nothing too dressed up, or too casual."

Elliot nods. "Got it, follow me."

Santana follows Elliot to another rack full of dresses. Elliot goes through them all then grabs a blue and white casual dress and holds it up to himself for Santana to see.

"Well? What do you think?"

Santana nods. "It would be perfect if I knew it's in my size." The brunette checks the tag then does a fist pump. "Awesome, thank you." She says taking the dress.

"Sure, any excuse to shop." Santana snorts in response.

"Santana, is that you?"

The brunette turns around to discover Emily behind her. "Hey, what are you doing here?"

"I just got out of work and on my way home, I remembered I have a party this weekend." She explains. "I think this is the first time I bumped into you outside of work."

Santana nods. "It is."

Emily then notices Elliot and introduces herself. "I'm sorry, I'm being rude in front of your boyfriend. I'm Emily, Santana is my assistant, but you probably already know that." She says with a nervous laugh.

Elliot chuckles shaking her hand. "Elliot. But I'm not her boyfriend. I don't think her girlfriend would approve."

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I saw you together and I just assumed."

Elliot waves her off as Santana tries to stop laughing. "It's ok, anyone would of made that assumption."

"Well, I think I've embarrassed myself enough. San, the party is at The Twist this Saturday at nine if you wanna stop by. Bring your girlfriend, I'd love to meet her."

Santana nods. "I'll ask Quinn if she wants to go."

"Ok, great. I'll see you at work. It was nice meeting you, Elliot."

"You, too."

The trio wave as Emily goes to another part of the store when Quinn and Kurt catch up with them.

"Who was that?" Quinn asks no one in particular.

"Emily from work. She invited us to a party at The Twist this Saturday. I told you her I'd ask you if you wanna go." Santana explains.

"I thought you were going to meet-"

"Yeah, I still will. The party isn't until nine and I could always meet him Friday instead of Saturday."

"Ok, sure, will there be other people from work there?"

Santana shrugs. "I didn't ask."

Quinn snorts. "Well I got what I wanted. Is that the dress you want?" Santana nods hiding the dress behind her back. "Why are you hiding it, weirdo."

"I don't want you to see until later."

Quinn chuckles. "Go pay for your dress, dork."

After paying for her dress, the group continue to shop. Once everyone has got what they wanted, they return home. This time Elliot goes to his own apartment and after some begging from Santana, Quinn agreed to get ready for their date at the loft in Kurt's room, with his permission.

Santana just finished getting ready so the brunette waits for her girlfriend in the living room with Kurt.

"How were you able to run away from home?" Kurt suddenly asks, catching Santana completely off guard. "I'm sorry I'm being forward, I've just always been curious since Quinn told me what happened and it never seemed like the right time to ask."

Santana slowly nods. "When your mother abandons you, and your father beats you on a daily basis, eventually the decision to get the hell out of there was really easy."

Kurt awkwardly clears his throat. "Right, of course. I just mean how you were able to do it. If your father was so bad to you, how did you get out without being caught?" He clarifies.

"Oh, well I was really fucking scared." She confesses. "And I almost did get caught. I didn't think I was going to get away until I reached the boarder."

This is it. She's finally going to get out of this house, and out of this town. Santana is excited and absolutely terrified at the same time. If Nicholas catches her sneaking out of the house, who knows what he'll do to her this time. He might actually kill her.

However, she does have a plan. Whether or not it'll actually work is what worries the Latina but this is her only option. She can't go to the police, she's nineteen, they won't be able to remove her from the house if they can't find her mother, and she's too old for foster care.

Santana can't risk or wait for anyone to find her mother, it's a lost cause. She needs to leave now before her father kills her. The brunette has been working for a year to save up money to go to Pittsburgh to live with her best friend Tina.

Santana has been planning this a long time and now that it's happening, she's terrified. Santana waited until the end of the day when Nicholas is really drunk. At this time, he's usually passed out on the couch, so she has a couple hours before he wakes up, but she still has to be careful.

Nicholas, even drunk, can be a light sleeper. She's tried to sneak out, and even in, the house before and he caught her every time. She either got beat, or he'd mistake her for her mother and raped her.

At the moment, Nicholas is sleeping on the living room couch, beer in hand. Santana is siting at the bottom step, backup all packed ready to go, starring at her father snoring heavily. A part of her just wants to end it all with a knife, but she also doesn't want to go to prison either.

Santana takes a deep breath then slowly and quietly walks to the front door when she suddenly remembers she forgot her diary in her room. The brunette curses under her breath then returns to her room, careful not to make any noise.

Santana quickly goes to her closet and pushes aside all the shoe boxes and clothes she has buried on top of the small book. As she does, she isn't paying attention to the shelf above her head, and in her excitement finding her diary, she bumps her head, causing a few shoes to fall.

Santana holds her breath, as he heart pounds against her chest, waiting if her father heard the noise.

"What the hell are you doing up there?!" Nicholas shouts.

"N-Nothing!" She shouts back.

"Quit making so much god damn noise before I beat your ass!" Santana grabs the diary quickly then rushes out of her closet, hitting her head again, causing more shoes to fall. "What did I tell you, girl?!"

Santana hears his heavy footsteps as he goes up the stairs. However, she still has the upper hand, Nicholas isn't fast when he's drunk. Santana opens her window and climbs on to the roof then sits there out of view of the window, so Nicholas can't see her.

The footsteps are louder so Santana knows Nicholas is in her room now. Santana holds her breath, thinking even the quietest sound can alert him where she's hiding.

"You better be hiding, bitch. The second I get a hold of you, you won't be able to sit for a week!" He shouts in Spanish this time.

Santana releases her breath hearing Nicholas leave her room, but now there's the matter of getting out of the house now that he's awake. She could just climb off the roof, but where she's standing it's too high, and there's no trees to climb down.

Very carefully Santana walks to the other side of the house, only to discover the same problem. The brunette continues around the back of the house and spots Nicholas laying on his bed, she pauses, once again holding her breath. Nicholas is drinking more beer while watching tv.

This time Santana is even more careful then before as she crawls under Nicholas' window to get to the other side of the roof where there's a tree she can climb down. Once she gets past the window, Santana gets back on her feet using the roof as leverage.

For a second Santana lets herself think she'll get away when her foot slips. Again, she holds her breath waiting for Nicholas to say something but it never comes. She breathes a sigh of relief then climbs over to the tree and descends the branches, jumping on the last one. Santana looks up to her father's window one last time before finally leaving.

"I walked out of Lima but the rest of the way I hitch hiked. Some creepy truck drivers tried to pick me up but once I threatened to scream or something they didn't risk it."

Kurt shakes his head out of disbelief. "I have new respect for you." Santana blushes. "Seriously to have left on your own like that knowing you could get murdered was kind of dumb, but really brave at the same time. I know I couldn't do it."

"You couldn't survive camping, let alone hitch hike across the country." Quinn says as she walks into the room. "Sorry, I was done a while ago, I just couldn't help but over hear." She apologizes. "I guess I was curious myself."

Santana shrugs standing up. "It's ok." She waves her off then wraps her arms around Quinn's waist as the blonde wraps her arms around Santana's neck. "You look beautiful. Did Kurt pick it out?"

Quinn nods. "You look beautiful, too? Did Elliot pick it out?"

Santana chuckles. "Yes."

"Well they have good taste, we look really good."

Santana laughs and pecks Quinn's lips then turns to Kurt. "We shouldn't be gone too late. Just keep the living room lamp on for me I case you're sleeping already."

"Sure." He says shrugging his shoulder. "Have fun."

"Thanks. You should have Elliot come over so you're not alone." Santana says as she and Quinn gather their purses.

"I might."

Santana laughs knowing he will then opens the door for Quinn. "They better not have sex on my couch." She says as they reach the elevator.

Quinn laughs. "What makes you think they will?"

Santana shrugs. "I don't, that's why I said they better not." Quinn just shakes her head, albeit with a smile.

At the movie theater, Quinn buys them drinks, some snacks and popcorn. Even though Santana won't admit it, she shed a few tears during the parts they did watch. Most of the movie the couple were making out, and neither were ashamed.

After the movie, Quinn did plan on just dropping Santana off, however, her girlfriend had other ideas.

"Babe, I have surgery tomorrow, I need to rest and relax."

"And I can help you with that." Santana insists. "We can take a bath together, I have a bath bomb. Then I can give you a body message, and maybe an orgasm."

Quinn laughs, trying her best not to blush but fails. "I don't know, San." Santana leans over the center counsel and surprises Quinn with a passionate kiss. "Ok, ok." She finally agrees. "It does sound really nice, especially if you go by your word with that message."

"I think I have some lotion, too."

Quinn arches her brow. "Do you really have these things or does Kurt?"

Santana shrugs. "Tomatto tamoto." Quinn shakes her head, laughing. "Are you coming in?" Santana asks opening the car door.

"Yeah. Just let me park the car somewhere else."

Santana closes the car door so Quinn can park the car. Holding hands they go back to Santana and Kurt's apartment when Quinn pauses exiting the elevator.

"You really want to have sex with Kurt in the other room?"

Santana shrugs. "He has headphones."

Quinn just snorts as she follows Santana inside. As promised, Kurt left on the lamp in the living room so Santana can see.

"Are we taking a bath now or later?" Quinn asks.

"Now." Santana disappears into the hall for a moment then returns with a bath bomb and lotion.

"Kurt sleeping?"

Santana nods. "Yup. Let's go."

Quinn follows Santana to the bathroom. While the brunette fills the tub, Quinn undresses.

"I'm gonna have to leave early in the morning. I don't have any scrubs here."

"K." Santana puts in the bath bomb then undresses herself while Quinn gets into the tub. "You gotta move when I get in."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah, I'm supposed to help you relax. I wanted to give you a shoulder message."

Quinn exhales a content sigh. "I can't say no to that." She says with a laugh.

Quinn scoots forward as Santana gets into the tub. The brunette gets comfortable then gently pulls Quinn back into her chest.

"This is nice already." Says Quinn.

Santana smiles and kisses Quinn's temple before rubbing her shoulders. The couple stay in the tub for a few minutes, relaxing in between kisses and cuddling. When they're finished Santana changes into pajama's but has Quinn remain naked so she can give her a full body message with the lotion she took from Kurt.

By the time Santana was done, they were both too tired to do anything else, much less have sex, like Santana planned. Instead, they went to sleep.

The following morning Quinn wakes up to the alarm she set on her cell phone, also waking Santana.

"Sorry, babe." She apologizes turning the alarm off. "You're usually a deep sleeper, I thought it wouldn't wake you."

"I want to come with you." Santana says between yawning.

"Are you sure?"

Santana nods rubbing her eyes. "I wanna be there for Lizzie bear." Quinn smiles and pecks Santana's lips, making the brunette laugh. "How did my morning breath taste?"

Quinn laughs. "Dork." Quinn throws a pillow at Santana's face.

"Hey!"

Santana chases Quinn into the bathroom. The girls continue to tease each other all morning until they reach the hospital.

"Is Lizzie's parents here?"

"They should be."

Quinn goes to the nurses station to clock in then takes Santana to Elizabeth's room so she can wait with the little girl while the doctor's prep for her surgery. Going into the room, Santana is happy to see Lizzie's parents.

"See I told you Tana would come." Elizabeth says to her parents. Santana chuckles then gives Lizzie a hug and kiss.

"Are you ready?" Lizzie nods. "Are you scared?"

"Nope."

"We're glad you're here." Lizzie's father says. "Lizzie talks about you all the time." Santana blushes. "If you want, I can give you our number so you two can keep in touch when she finally gets to go home."

"I'd like that."

Along with her parents, Santana follows Lizzie all the way to the doors to the operating room. Everyone says their goodbyes and encouraging words then goes to the waiting room as instructed. For three hours the trio kept themselves busy until the surgery was over and they could go back to Lizzie's room.

"Could you tell her I was here?" Santana asks looking down at a sleeping Lizzie.

"Of course." Lizzie's mother says. "Thank you for being her friend in here."

"She made it really easy." Santana says with a laugh then kisses Lizzie's forehead before leaving.

On her way to the nursery to meet with Brittany while Quinn works, she bumps into a husband pushing his wife and newborn in a wheelchair, with who she assumes are one of their parents behind them.

"Finally, you can get out of this horrible place." The older woman says in disgust.

The woman holding the baby rolls her eyes. "I told you, Pheonix had to stay an extra day." She says annoyed, like a daughter and mother.

Passing the group, something occurs to Santana so the brunette stops then turns to them as they continue down the hall.

"You must be Quinn's parents." Russell and Judy turn to the Latina confused. "So that must make you Frannie and Nick."

"And you are?" Russell asks.

"Santana. Quinn's girlfriend." Russell and Judy share the same disgusted look. "Oh don't worry, you don't have to say anything. Quinn told me everything and honestly I don't think any of you deserve to have her in your lives. You're nothing but ignorant people, and you're going to raise an ignorant, spoiled son. You don't deserve Quinn's love, or her big heart just for you to step all over it. She'll be fine without you, I'll make sure of it."

Santana doesn't even stick around to hear what they have to say, she doesn't care. Instead, she continues to the nursery where Brittany is giving medicine to a newborn.

"There you are, I thought you got lost."

"Nope, I followed the signs. I just had to use the bathroom." She lies.

"Oh. So are you gonna stick around all day until Quinn has to leave?"

Santana shakes her head. "Just until I have to leave for work."

Since Quinn has a few more surgeries, Santana sticks with Brittany. The blonde even lets her hold one of the babies.

"Do you ever want any kids?" Brittany asks Santana, watching her gently sway with the newborn secure in her arms.

Santana nods not looking up from the infant. "Since I was little. But back then I thought I had to be married to a man." She says with a laugh.

"Do you see yourself having kids with Quinn?"

Santana looks up at Brittany blushing. "I'd love to, but I don't know how Quinn feels. We'd have to talk about it in the future. Right now it's too soon."

Brittany nods in agreement. "Good idea. You passed the test." Santana just laughs in response.

Santana continues to follow Brittany around, bumping into Quinn now and then, up until she has to leave fore work. The Latina goes back to the loft to change into her uniform then takes a cab. On the way she calls Emily to ask if she needs her to come in. Luckily for her, Emily got another assistant so Santana can keep her job at the diner.

Not paying attention, Santana goes right to the back so she can clock in and grab her apron and notebook. In work mode, Santana starts waiting tables right away, still not paying attention to the woman siting in the back of the restaurant, watching her.

While waiting yet another table, Dani walks up to Santana, concerned and confused, being the only one to notice the older woman starring at the Latina.

"Not to freak you out, but that lady hasn't stopped starring at you since you got here."

Santana follows Dani's line of vision and groans. "It's ok. She's my Abuela."

"Oh, well it can't be totally ok if you're glaring at her."

Santana huffs. "I'm not glaring."

"Are too." Dani says returning to work.

To percrastinate seeing her grandmother, Santana puts in a few more orders and waits a couple more tables first.

"Is Nicholas here with you?" She asks scanning the restaurant.

"No. He's in jail."

Santana sits across from the woman. "If only that happened when I was still living with him." Alma looks guilty down at her lap. "What is he in for?"

"DUI." Santana scoffs. "But he should be in jail for what he did to you. Tina's parents were trying to make that happen-"

"Let me guess, he was already arrested for the DUI?" Alma nods. "Figures."

"I just came to see how you're doing. I know you wouldn't want to talk if I called, and I had enough of asking Tina about you, I wanted to see for myself. I'm proud of you."

Santana blushes. "Gracias." Alma smiles. "I've seen Mami."

Alma looks surprised. "You have?" Santana nods. "I didn't think she would agree to meeting with you. I only ever talked to her on the phone, she wouldn't see me."

Santana shrugs. "The first time I saw her she didn't see me. The second time I went to her while she was in the hospital."

Alma frowns. Santana tells her grandmother everything. What Maribel said in the hospital, and what she said at the loft.

"This is good news. You have a little brother, how can that be a bad thing?"

Santana flashes a weak smile then realizes she has to go back to work. "Well, enjoy your meal. I have to get back to work. My boss is already giving me the stink eye." She says pointing to said man.

"It was nice to see you."

"Yeah, you, too."

Santana returns to work like nothing happened, genuinely being happy to have seen her grandmother. She didn't realize how much she missed the woman until she saw her.

"Everything ok?" Dani asks, a trey full of food in hand.

"Yeah, thanks."

Dani winks then returns to work along with Santana.

After Lizzie's surgery, Quinn made her rounds to check on her other patients before checking on her favorite little blonde. On her way to the room, however, she sees Santana walking away from her family with a proud grin. Too curious not to let it go, Quinn walks over but misses her girlfriend and decides to talk to her family instead.

"What did you say to her?" Both Judy and Russell look offended.

"Us?" Judy asks. "She was the one who was rude to us."

Quinn crosses her arms in a defensive stance. "I'm sure you gave her a reason to say something. And if she didn't, I doubt she was wrong. My girlfriend may speak her mind before thinking about the consequences but at least I can count on her unlike you. She likes me for who I am. I don't have to change for her to like me. I've never been this happy or confident my whole life and I won't let you ruin it for me."

Just as Santana had, Quinn doesn't stick around to hear what they have to say. Quinn feels really good about her talk with her parents, though. It feels empowering and it gives Quinn the energy to work harder.

Once in a while she bumped into Santana but the doctor didn't tell her girlfriend about the talk she had with her parents, she wants to wait.

The rest of the day came pretty easy for the doctor. After work Quinn goes to the loft to be with Santana. On her way, she realizes it would be so much easier if they lived together, however, she reminds herself it's still not the time yet.

At the loft, Quinn knocks on the door a few times but no one greets the doctor.

Confused, she opens the door anyway scaring Kurt and Santana as they watch tv. The pair scream as they jump and the big bowl of popcorn between them falls to the floor.

"Holy shit!" Kurt swears with his hand on his heart. "You scared the hell out of us."

Quinn snorts closing the door. "Clearly. What are you watching?" She asks looking at the screen.

"Sinister 2." Kurt answers for them.

"I thought you didn't like scary movies, San?"

"I don't. He didn't tell me it's a scary movie and now I'm too into it to stop watching."

Another scary part makes Santana jump. The brunette reaches out to Quinn making the blonde laugh as she holds her girlfriend.

"Hummel, you're in trouble if my girl can't sleep tonight." Quinn jokingly warns him.

"How was work?" Santana whispers.

Quinn shrugs. "Good. Lizzie is doing good, she should be going home tomorrow." She whispers back.

"Aw, I'm gonna miss her."

Quinn rubs Santana's back. "I know, I will, too."

"Sh!" Kurt says with his finger to his mouth. "It's almost over." He whispers.

Santana and Quinn remain quiet for the rest of the movie. Once it's over, the girls go to Santana's bedroom to go to sleep.

"Are you sure you don't want to live together?" Santana asks as they change into pajama's. "We're practically living together already, you're rarely home anymore."

"It's not that I don't want to, it's just not the right time. Plus, you're living with Kurt now. Not that I don't like him, I'd just like for us to live alone together." She explains.

Santana holds Quinn this time with a content sigh. "You're right, that would be better."

Quinn breathes in Santana's scent then trails kisses from her neck down to her collarbone, making the brunette's breath hitch in her throat.

"I think I broke my promise last night. And I'm definitely awake for a few rounds." Quinn says between light feather kisses. "What do you say?" Santana doesn't respond. Instead, she connects their lips in a heated kiss.

Four rounds later Santana and Quinn are beat, sweaty and naked. While Quinn tries to go to sleep, Santana gasps thinking she heard something outside the bedroom.

"Babe, did you hear that?" She whispers.

"No." Quinn says with a yawn.

Santana sits up trying to hear it again and jumps when she does. "There's something outside the window. What if it's that creepy dude from the movie? That shit could be real and the government just wants us to think it's just a movie." She continues.

Quinn snorts. "I'm gonna kill Kurt." She whispers to herself. "Baby, that creepy dude goes after kids. There's no kids in this apartment."

Santana jumps out of bed then quickly shuts the curtains before jumping back into bed and cuddling into Quinn's chest.

"I closed the curtain just in case."

Quinn chuckles. "Ok."

Santana wiggles to get more comfortable. "Do you want kids?"

"What?" Quinn asks waking up again.

"Do you want to have kids in the future?" She repeats.

Quinn nods. "Yeah, I'd love to have a family when the time is right."

"With me?" Santana asks a little insecure.

Quinn looks down at the brunette and creases her cheek. "Of course I do."

Santana pecks Quinn's lips then gets comfortable again so she can go back to sleep.

Saturday Afternoon

Once again Quinn finders herself at her girlfriend's loft. However, this time she's also there for support. Maribel and Damien are on their way over and Santana hasn't stopped pacing the living room floor.

Kurt is out for the day with Elliot. Santana gave Quinn her infamous I-told-you-so look as Kurt and Elliot flirted with each other.

"Babe, everything is going to be fine." Quinn assures her. "Why are you so worried?"

Santana shrugs then stops in front of Quinn. "What if he doesn't like me, or I can't answer one of his questions?"

"There's no way he can't like you, and if you can't answer a question, just tell him you can tell him when he's older. That's what Frannie used to say to me."

Santana nods then a bell rings. "Those are the cookies." Santana rushes to the stove to take out the chocolate chip cookies. "I hope he's not allergic to chocolate." She says putting the hot trey on to the counter.

Quinn helps Santana put the cookies on to the cooling rack when there's a knock on the door.

"That's them." Santana rushes to the door then fixes her hair in the mirror before sliding open the door. "H-Hi. Come in and make yourself at home."

Maribel says something into Damien's ear then turns to Santana. "He actually wants me to wait out here."

"Oh, ok. That's fine. I made chocolate chip cookies. He's not allergic, is he?"

"I'm not allergic." Damien assures her.

Santana breathes a sigh of relief. "Good. They're going to need a minute to cool."

"Damien, if you need me, I'll be in the hall." She reminds him again.

Damien rolls his eyes. "Ok, Mami." He says annoyed.

Maribel closes the door and Santana awkwardly has Damien go into the kitchen with her where Quinn still stands next to the cookies.

"Damien, this is my girlfriend Quinn."

Quinn waves. "Hello."

Damien turns to Santana. "Are you gay?"

Santana nods slowly trying to read his reaction. "Yeah."

Damien shrugs. "Cool. Nice to meet you."

Quinn smiles. "You, too." The doctor looks to Santana and notices how nervous she is. "Why don't we get more comfortable in the living room then you can ask Santana all the questions you'd like." She suggests.

Damien follows the couple into the living room and opts for the recliner while Santana and Quinn sit on the love seat.

"You have a cool apartment." Damien says looking around. "I like your door."

"Thank you." There's a short silence.

"How old are you?" Damien suddenly asks.

"Nineteen. Almost twenty."

Damien nods, satisfied with her answer. "I had more questions for Mami but she won't answer them, so I'm gonna ask you instead." He says honestly.

"Ok, I'll try to answer as best as I can. There might be some things you're too young to hear yet, ok?"

Damien reluctantly agrees. "Why did Mami leave you?"

Santana takes a deep breath. "I didn't know your Papi, but mine isn't very nice. He's an alcohol and it makes him mean. Mar-Mami couldn't live with him anymore so she left."

Damien frowns. "She left you behind, though. That wasn't nice."

Quinn rubs Santana's leg as the brunette holds back tears. "No, it wasn't."

"I look like you." Santana nods. "Are you right handed or left handed?"

"Left."

Damien smiles. "Me too."

Damien continues to ask Santana questions. Most are about what Santana does or doesn't like. Eventually the young boy gravitates toward Santana, siting closer and closer to the Latina until they're all siting on the love seat, while eating cookies.

"Would it be ok if I came over again?"

Santana nods. "Of course."

"Damien." Maribel says peaking her head through the front door. "It's time to go."

Damien surprises Santana with a hug. "Bye, thanks for the cookies."

"You're welcome." She says rubbing his back until he pulls away.

"It was nice meeting you, Quinn."

Quinn smiles. "It was nice meeting you, too. Maybe we'll bake together next time."

"Cool." Damien joined his mother by the door and waves to the girls before leaving.

Quinn gently has Santana cuddle into her chest. "See? That wasn't so bad."

Santana blushes. "I know, stop teasing me."

Quinn chuckles. "What do you wanna do until the party?" Santana shrugs then rushes to the chocolate chip cookies. "Hey, don't eat them all!" Quinn shouts after her, chasing the brunette into the kitchen.

Saturday Night

Santana and Quinn are dressed for the party and with the help of Emily's text, they're on their way to the writer's apartment. According to Emily she's having a roof party for her friends and co-workers.

A couple times Quinn thought she was lost, never had been in the area before, but eventually they find the place. On the rooftop, Quinn and Santana are surprised to see their friends.

"What are you guys doing here?" Santana asks as Kurt gives her a hug.

"We were invited." Says Mercedes. "Elliot bumped into her again, she invited him, and Kurt invited us." She explains.

"Hey Mami, you looking beautiful tonight." Puck says as he comes up from behind Brittany.

"And who invited him?" Quinn asks glaring at him while holding Santana closer.

"He was in the bunk room when Kurt told us about the party. He knows the area, we couldn't stop him from coming." Mercedes continues.

"Why the long faces?" Puck asks. "I'm the life of the party and you'll appreciate my presence once you got some drinks in ya."

"I doubt it." Quinn says as she directs Santana and the rest of the group away from him.

"Hey, you guys made it!" Emily says greeting Santana and the group.

"Thanks for the directions, I don't think I could find this place on my own and I grew up in New York." Quinn says with a laugh.

"Oh sure, I'm glad you didn't get lost. The drinks and food are over there. If you have to use the bathroom, just go out where you came in, it's the first door on the left, ok?" They all nod keeping that in mind. "Ok, have fun. I'm gonna greet more people."

The group decide to eat and drink some beers. When Santana first told Quinn about the party she was a little unsure not knowing the people her girlfriend work with. But now that her friends are also invited, she's having a good time drinking and dancing with everyone, especially Santana.

During most of the party Santana and Quinn stick together but eventually they socialize and drink with other people. Quinn didn't mind until she lost track of Santana.

"Kurt, have you seen Santana?!" She shouts over the loud music as Kurt is standing close to the large speaker.

"I think I saw her go to the bathroom!"

Quinn gives him a thumbs up then heads to the bathroom. The doctor weaves through drunk people before reaching the roof door. As she walks inside two guys walk out wiping sir noses. Suddenly a thought occurrs to Quinn and the doctor rushes to the bathroom.

"San!" She shouts. "Are you ok?!" Bursting into the bathroom, Quinn finds Santana laying unconscious on the floor. "Oh my god, Santana!"

Quinn rushes to the brunette then has her girlfriend lay on her side instead before taking her cell phone out of her pocket to call 911. After hanging up the phone with them, Quinn calls Mercedes. A few minutes later said girl rushes into the bathroom.

"Is ok?" Mercedes asks siting with the pair on the floor.

"I-I'm not sure. She hasn't woken up." Quinn says crying.

Brittany, Kurt and Elliot also walk in to see what happened.

"Did you call an ambulance?" Brittany asks.

"Yeah, they're on their way." Quinn says, still crying when the door opens once again as Puck walks in. "B-But I don't know if I should leave here, I-I don't know what to do."

"I heard screaming." He says then notices Santana unconscious on the floor and walks over to the brunette. "Let me help." He begs. Sensing he's being genuine, Quinn nods. "I'm going to take her downstairs to the lobby so the paramedics don't have to make a trip up here, ok?"

Quinn nods. "K."

"She probably overdosed." Puck continues. "They'll know what to do at the hospital. Don't worry, if she can make it through losing her memory, she'll be fine."

Puck picks Santana up bridal style down to the lobby as Quinn and the rest of the group follow. When the ambulance arrives, Quinn is the only one allowed in the truck with Santana and the paramedics. The rest of the group, Puck included, follow in their cars and cabs.

At the hospital they wait in the waiting room while Santana is treated. Once she's stable, the doctors give her friends and girlfriend permission to see the brunette in her room. Everyone waits in silence for Santana to wake up.

"What the hell?" Santana groans.

"San." Quinn says jumping to her side. "Do you remember what happened?"

Santana sighs as her eyes water. "I'm so sorry, Quinn. I couldn't control myself this time. I was already drunk and this guy reminded me of Nicholas-"

"I'm not mad, baby." Quinn assures her.

"Hey, guys." Brittany says. "Why don't we get some snacks?" She suggests.

"Oh thank god, I'm definitely drunk. I need to absorb all this alcohol." Says Kurt. The groups follows Brittany and Kurt out the door, but Puck lingers back.

"I hope you feel better." Santana flashes a weak smile. "Your girl was a mess, try not to scare her like that again, ok?" She nods. Puck awkwardly waves then leaves the room.

"I'm so-"

"You don't have to apologize again. I accepted the first one, I'm just glad you're ok. He's right, I was really scared back there." Quinn says getting choked up again.

Santana has Quinn lay on her chest. They lay in silence listening to the machines Santana is hooked up to and the announcements on the loud speaker.

"Do you remember saying you'd find something that would help me from not doing drugs?" Quinn nods. "I think I should go to rehab."

Quinn picks her head up in shock. "Is that what you want?"

Santana sighs. "I want to be better for you, Quinn, and myself. If I have to go to rehab to accomplish that, then I will."

Quinn wipes her eyes then lays back on Santana's chest. "Whatever you decide, I'm behind you." Santana holds Quinn tighter. "But I'm gonna miss you."

"I know I'll miss you, too."

One Year Later...

Quinn is running around the kitchen of the new home she had recently purchased with Santana, looking for a spoon to serve the pasta with.

"Did you check all the draws?" Frannie asks carrying Pheonix on her hip.

Despite the relationship with her parents, her relationship with her sister has improved a lot since Santana went to rehab. Frannie came around to Quinn being with another woman after Santana stood up to their parents.

"No, I think it might-" Quinn stops mid sentence finding said spoon. "Here it is. Can you give that to Brittany?"

"Sure. You need to relax, though. Elliot said they're on their way and Santana doesn't even suspect a surprise party."

Quinn huffs running her fingers through her hair. "I'll relax when she gets here."

Feannie just chuckles returning to the party in the back yard. It wasn't easy but Quinn and Santana managed to find a house with a decent sized backyard. After Santana came back from rehab, she was able to return to both the diner and the intern job.

Santana worked really hard to not only get a permanent job at The New York Times, she also got a degree in writing taking online classes. Quinn couldn't be more proud of her fiancée. Looking down at her diamond, Quinn can't help but smile. Santana got a promotion, Quinn got a ring. Then Santana recently got one, too.

Now Quinn is throwing a surprise party to celebrate Santana's first written story that was published in the paper. Quinn has been planning long before Santana even got the promotion. The doctor just knew Santana was going to get the job.

"They're here." Kurt says quickly poking his head in the kitchen.

Quinn makes sure everyone is hidden in the backyard so Santana doesn't se them yet before greeting her fiancée at the door. The original plan was to have Quinn hide with everyone until she realized Santana would know something is up.

"So, did you find what you wanted?"

Elliot kept Santana busy at the mall, using his anniversary with Kurt as an excuse.

"No, so I had to look around and it took a while to find the perfect outfit and gift for Kurt. He deserves nothing but the best."

Quinn smiles. "That's good. Did you get anything, babe?"

Santana shrugs. "Just a couple dresses and new lingerie."

"I definitely want to see that later." Elliot pretends to gag while Santana just laughs. "Dinner is ready but before we eat can you check the grill, babe? It was making weird noises earlier so I didn't grill the chicken." She lies.

"Yeah, sure." Santana puts her bag by the stairs so she doesn't forget it later before following Quinn out to the backyard. Opening the door their friends pop out from their hiding spots.

"Surprise!"

Quinn wraps her arms around Santana from behind. "Surprise, baby."

Santana shakes her head, albeit with a smile. "I can't believe you did this."

"Of course I did, I'm so proud of you. So is everyone else and we wanted to celebrate."

Santana connects their lips in a loving kiss.

"Tana!" Lizzie shouts running up to the writer. Santana smiles brightly shocked to see the little girl as she picks her up.

"Lizzie bear, when did you get here?" She asks then kisses Lizzie's cheek.

"Last night." Her father says. "Quinn called and we couldn't not come. Elizabeth missed you." He explains.

"I missed you, too." She kisses Lizzie's cheek again before putting her down.

"Babe, I actually have another surprise for you." Quinn says in her ear.

"Ohh, you got me a present?"

Quinn shrugs. "Kind of."

The doctor takes Santana by the hand to their bedroom then grabs a small box wrapped in blue and pink tissue paper from their closet then gives it to Santana. The brunette eagerly unwraps the box then gasps getting tears eyed.

"It worked?!"

Quinn nods smiling brightly. "Third times the charm, right?"

Santana jumps into Quinn's arms crying with joy. "I'm so happy you're finally pregnant."

"I know. Me, too."

Santana suddenly pulls away and sternly pints her finger at Quinn. "This baby better not come out before the wedding, it cost me a fortune."

Quinn shakes her head, albeit with a smile. "I love you."

Santana smiles in return. "I love you, too."

"There you two are." Alma says from the doorway. "Come on down, this is your party."

Quinn puts the pregnancy test back then the couple follow Alma back outside. Puck is standing in the middle of everyone and holds up his beer.

"Congratulations to Santana, and congratulations to Quinn on the new baby!" Some of the guests shout, not hearing the last part. While others are confused.

"How-" Quinn tries asking after the noise settles down.

"I know a pregnant woman when I see one."

Quinn and Santana shake their heads.

"He's your friend." Santana argues.

"Is not.'I didn't even invite him."

Santana just laughs and drags Quinn to the food.
