Chapter Fourteen, Epilogue

It has been four years since they had moved to the Dragon Reserve in Romania and they couldn't be happier. During those four years Aurora and Charlie's relationship had progressed wonderfully without the interference of self absorbed, ignorant Wizard and Witches of Britain. During the last three years, Aurora had been promoted to healer of the Dragon Reserve and created the Wolfsbane potion for Remus and Mike as well as healing the people of the Dragon Reserve, Sirius and Dora were head Aurors and had recruited more Aurors to protect the Reserve, Remus was assistant Head for the school.

George had opened his shop in the Wizarding Alley, Magus Alley, and his shop was flourishing bringing in a large amount of customers as was the one in Diagon Alley. During the last three years Aurora and Charlie had got married and a year ago they had been blessed with a beautiful baby girl who they named Lily Lexi Potter-Weasley who looked just like her mother but with Charlie's nose, chin and eye shape the rest was all her mother. Amaya adored her baby sister and her cousin Teddy, her and Teddy were hardly seen without the other despite that they were a year apart. As Amaya grew she looked more and more like her daddy Fred especially her mischievous behaviour as her and Teddy were always up to mischief though that could also be Aurora's blood adding into it.

As she grew she had been told who her daddy Fred was and he had died to protect everyone. She was told it was okay to call Charlie daddy as well as she was a special little girl and had two daddies who loved her very much. Despite getting into mischief with Teddy, Amaya was a sweet little girl often seen following her mother around as she was a mummy's girl and wanted to help her mother especially when she was pregnant and had Lily. She helped daddy Charlie look after her mum while she was pregnant and then helped both her parents look after her baby sister. George had gotten engaged with Tina who worked under Charlie on the Reserve and they were happy and in love. George had moved out of the house he lived in with Aurora and in with Tina but he was around pretty much all the time and loved his two nieces equally and dearly and loved Teddy as much as the two girls and saw him as his nephew.

As for Sirius, Remus and Dora they were finally happy and relaxed glad that Remus and Rory were no longer being prejudiced against and the Reserve had a ward on it that destroyed any dangerous and offensive mail which helped when they had first moved here. Sirius was still on his own but he was happy with that he was happy with his daughter, his grandchildren, his son-in-law (not that he would tell Charlie that) and his friends. Remus and Dora had decided on only having Teddy and they were happy with that as he was surrounded constantly by his two cousins and his Godmother who he still to this day absolutely adored. They were happy to see their daughter/niece come back to herself all thanks to Charlie and George as well as moving to Romania. They had never seen her this happy as they watched her play with the three children in their garden all four of them laughing and giggling.

"We did good moving here didn't we Remus?" Sirius asked as the three of them sat in the garden chairs drinking butterbeer as they watched Rory play with the five, four and one year old. They were having a family day today as it was Saturday and meant to be everyone's day off but Charlie and Tina had been called in to help a sick dragon and George had to go in as Stephan had called in sick as his eight year old daughter was sick. None of them really minded that three of their family was missing as they would be home later to join in. "We did Sirius we did." Remus smiled clapping his long time friend on the shoulder. "And I'm sure James and Lily would have forgiven us by now. Now, that we moved her here to have a better life." Remus answered Sirius' unasked question.

"And she has Sirius look how happy and free she is. I've never seen her this happy not since she was Lily's age." Remus sighed sadly, wishing like Sirius did that he could turn back time and be there for Rory from the moment she lost her parents. But they were here now and had given her a better life here as she kept constantly reminding them.

"You know she's going to tell you off if you both keep thinking like that." Dora laughed.

"We have her now and she's been happy and free for four years and has a godson who adores her and follows her around like a lost puppy, two beautiful daughters who are the same way as Teddy, a husband who adores her, a job and a home she loves and most importantly she finally has a family who loves her. That's all she's ever wanted." Dora told them what she had told them that a year after being here and as they watched her they saw the spark in her they had long feared had been extinguished shinning and full of life as she chased the three children who were screaming with laughter. At that moment Aurora looked up and smiled at them coming over to them to hug them tightly planting kisses on their cheeks as if she knew the thoughts going around in their minds. "Thank you daddy, thank you uncle Moony." Aurora whispered watching her babies play with her little man as she hugged her father and uncle.

"For what?" They asked confused not getting at what she was thanking them for.

"For saving me." Was all she said as she kissed their cheeks once more before clapping her hands gaining the attention of the children. "Come my loves. Come have a drink." She called out handing each children a cup of juice or in Lily's case a sippy cup of juice. "Grandpa Siri can we see Padfoot please?" Amaya asked once they had finished their drinks, Teddy bouncing in excitement shouting his pleases. Sirius smiled lovingly at his granddaughters one who was standing in front of him the other sitting on his lap drinking her juice, and his nephew. "Of course my little mischief makers!" Sirius exclaimed just as exited as the children who cried happily jumping up and down.

"Calm down." Dora and Aurora told the two, as Lily who understood what her sister and cousin were excited about bounced in Sirius' lap crying, "Pa'foo! Pa'foo'! Pa'foo!" Laughing Sirius kissed Lily's head and passed her to her mother as he stood stretching before turning into Padfoot who started barking happily at Amaya and Teddy who laughed as he chased them around the garden slowing down as Lily joined in the fun. "It's not us who saved you cub." Remus told her softly as they watched the children play with Padfoot. Aurora looked away for a moment giving her uncle a confused look. "You saved us cub. You saved me and Sirius! Without you we would probably be bitter old men. You gave and give us a reason to love, laugh and live everyday." Remus told her pulling her into his arms for a hug kissing her hair.

"It's true Rory." Dora told her. "When we thought we were going to lose you and Amaya they were besides themselves with grief as was Teddy he didn't want anyone only you. You brought us all together. You made Remus and I realise and act on our love for each other, you gave Sirius love and happiness, something to live for during Azkaban for twelve years and after it. You are the light of this family and we love you so much." Dora said getting up and hugging her niece and husband.

"I love you all so much too." Aurora replied. "But we will have to agree to disagree as you give me something to live for as do the kids." Aurora said happily as she snuggled into her aunts and uncles arms enjoying the hugs she had so desperately wanted growing up. She was happy she was able to give her girls and her Teddy the love and affection they deserve and more so. That they never grew up as she did and that's all she could ask for. She had finally got her Happily Ever After that she thought was in fairy tales and she was so glad she was proven wrong as she listened to the happy shouts of the children and dad finally free of the horrors of his past.
