On with the show!

"Ooooooow!" Logan groaned sliding head first out of the jeep and coming to a full stop on the cracked pavement. Even out of the car he could still hear his brother's howls of laughter coming from the front of the jeep. He could remember his brothers prank as if it happened a couple of seconds ago… as a matter of fact – it DID happen a few seconds ago.

Hesh grinned to himself as he saw his brother asleep, hanging over the back row. He could hardly control the giggles as he put his IPhone in the AUX port and selected a song that was amusing to him and would serve his purpose. Frank Sinatra's Live until I Die. They were nearing the destination fast, so it was now or never. At the top of his lungs, he screamed "NO REGRETS!" then he hit play. The first note was enough to make Logan scream, snapping his head up so fast he hit his head against the roof of the jeep. Hesh started to do a evil laugh as he floored the gas propelling them through a torn and wrecked neighborhood, sending his little brother into the backseat, the head rest basically punching him in the gut. Hesh then noticed the blinking light on the GPS and realized they had reached they're destination. Even better. Taking his foot of the gas he slammed his foot on the brakes, throwing Logan off the head rests and into the back of the front seats. All Hesh could say before letting lose all the laughter was "Were Here."

While his brother lay limp, half in the car howling in laughter to his prank, Logan crawled the rest of the way out of the backseat, and onto the cracked pavement. The newly formed bruised ached with every move he made. Groaning he clutched his hand over the sores on his front, muttering curses at his brother all the while. Hesh himself finally slid out of the car, sprawled out on the cracked and smoldering pavement. "Fuckin shit eating mother fucker!" he heard his brother gasp from the other side of the jeep. He moved to get up but upon reviewing how it happened, the older brother was downed with another fit of laughter.

Logan who finally was okay enough to get up, groaned as he staggered to his feet and limped his way around the car feeling for the car along the way. He cursed that he had to do that. The doctor told him not to pick at the gauze that covered his eye or it could reopen the wound. Or worse. What could be worse than not being able to scratch an itch you couldn't ignore?

It was around the final giggles Hesh let out did the jeeps radio turn on.

It none other that they're father Elias Walker. Logan hobbled his way to the com unit and pushed the respond button.

"Hey dad, what's up?"

"Have you reached the rendezvouses point?"

"Yep."

"OK," Elias' voice sounded relieved "You haven't killed each other yet have you?"

Logan scoffed, he was about to reply until Hesh jumped in, "Of Course not! Right Loga- OOF!"

A swift and powerful elbow drove its way into Hesh's diaphragm knocking the wind out of him and crumpling him to the ground.

"Not yet." Logan sarcastically told the radio while smirking at his downed brother, gasping and coughing for air."

"Well, that's peachy, the beacon just blipped again, it was off about an hour before it blipped. Almost as if someone is toying with it." Elias' voice said.

"Creepy back story, best bring your kids to work day ever Dad," Hesh croaked, recovering from Logans blow.

"Hey, don't hate the player hate the game," Elias said on the other end. "Time to suit up boys, the beacon is currently in your area, but you won't be able to bring the jeep."

"Why's that?" Logan asked.

As if on cue , a ping noise was heard from a nearby sewer top.

"Oh," Logan flatly grumbled staring at the sewer head.

"Make sure you clean behind your ears tonight."

"Blech!" Hesh said for the thirty-ith time as they moved through the catacomb like maze of sewer. As much as Logan would like to agree with him he was focused on the tracker provided to locate the beacon's location.

Turn left up here, then we go down the right to the-

"Ugggh!" He heard his brother protest behind him.

Logan swore that his gauze covered eye began to twitch. If Hesh did not shut up, the radar he was holding would soon be crumple into a tiny ball in his fist and be broken, then no one would ever find the beacon. Then Logan would break Hesh, and then no one would ever find him either.

"UGG-"

"Hesh I swear to GOD I will stab you!" Logan yelled.

His voice echoed loudly through the maze. The sewers being weak as they were after the earthquake and Odin crashing, responded with the sound of rocks clattering to the sewer floors and splashes in the puddles and pools of murky water. Squeaks were heard that sounded to big to be any old tiny rat began to grow softer as they scurried away. Giant rats. Great take your kids to work day Dad, really.

"Hesh," Logan stated through gritted teeth as he turned to face his older brother who was currently petting his Honey Badger like it was a small dog. "Will you please, shut the fuck up?"

"I can't help it Log, the smell is TERRIBLE-"

"If it's so bad cover your nose-"

"But I need my hand to help shoot-"

"Then don't think about the smell."

It was only a few more feet before Hesh began his second complaint.

"Logaaaaaaaaaan?" Hesh complained.

Logan sighed. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if no one could find Hesh, he was basically a 5 year old most of the time anyway, it would be pretty easy.

"WHAT?" Logan hissed at his brother.

"I'm Boooooooooored, there is nothing to do. How do we even know that the beacon is coming from down he-"

As if on que (what was up with that today?) the clunking of Logan's boots hitting the floor turned into squishing noises, and thankfully that silenced Hesh's complaint. Logan glanced down to see the grey concrete had turned into some black slimy substance. Lifting his foot up Logan's face wrinkled up in disgust as the goo was stuck to his boot for a few seconds than began to drip back on the surface it came from. It reminded him to much of one of Hesh's "loogies". Shuddering at the remebrance of one of his brothers spit slime strands, Logan quickly put his foot down with a loud squelch. The noise caused something to hiss in the darkness before them and the sound of something moving and settling again came soon after.

As if practiced a million times, Logan had dropped down into a crouch, a throwing knife between each knuckle of his right hand, and a wicked looking tomahawk in his left, both in an 'x' acrossed his chest. Hesh unclipped his brothers honey badger from his back as quickly as he could and placed his own and his brothers guns against either hip for a hipfire assault on whoever, or whatever was lurking around in the darkness before them. The brothers stood in the doorway of the dark room for several minutes, tense and on edge, ready to rip through anything that came their way with a flurry of sharpend blades and armor piercing rounds. The first one to break the tension was Logan, who slowly put his tomahawk in his mouth by the neck. He reached behind him to his utility belt and pulled out a couple of flares, grumbling, "You had to complain didn't you?"

Hesh relaxed a little and replied a little excitement in his voice "I wouldn't call it complaining, more like asking the universe for something to do," When the flares finally lit, Logan flung them into the room, illuminating the place in an eerie red. "Careful what you wish for," Logan whispered in disbelief at what he was seeing.

The place looked like something out of that Aliens vs Predator, Two levels of building had crashed into the sewer room. Electrical wires hung all throughout the caved in area, coming from the two office buildings like tree branches that crept along the walls and ceilings, spear head fences were scattered all throughout the room, their sharp linked heads buried in walls and the ground and the other ends jutting out as if set their for the purpose of mounting something on them. The walls and floor were covered in the slimy black goo that had stuck to their boots, giving an even creepier vibe. The two offices had landed on a pile of rubble creating a back wall of sorts to the room. Office supplies and furniture lay all around the large room, ripped, scattered and many had been splattered in some sort of liquid. Logan had hoped it was the goo, but the foul smell of rotting flesh and the bones that scattered the floor made him believe otherwise.

"Man it is too creepy in here." Hesh stated and began to fish around in his backpack.

"Well what do you suppose we do about it? Were just gonna be in and out of here anyway." Asked Logan who had his eyes glued to the scanner. The beacon was in this room but he didn't see it anywhere. The flares were starting to go out. He had more but they would burn out just as quick. He needed to find a light switch. In the corner of his uncovered eye, he saw a spark. When he turned he found himself standing in front of a huge machine. The light was dimming fast and it was not wise with only one good eye at the moment to start wandering around in the dark, especially with all the spear head fences littered around the room. He could only hope that whatever the machine was, it was a generator, it had power and the lights in the office still worked. Silently praying, Logan flipped the switch. The machine whirred and buzzed to life, the lights in the office began to flicker. His good fortune turned bad once the lights began to pop, shard of glass flying everywhere in the office. Then something happened that made a chill come up through Logna's spine. The wires inside the office began to stir. Following the lines back to the source, Logan's surprise turned to horror as he saw what was making the wires stir: a monster. A beast like shillohette in the shadows began to move, and rise from its prone position. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Logan screamed. "RAAAAWRRRAAAAAAAH!"

While Logan took one direction, Hesh took a different path. To the left there was a giant hole in the room with a eerie puke green light, pouring out off it. Hesh crept over to the hole and peaked his head inside. He couldn't believe what he saw. The room was filled with… well he wasn't sure what they were. They were almost his height, and were orbs of green filled with a pukish green color that illuminated the room. While Logan was outside doing something about light, he wasn't sure he wasn't paying attention, Hesh had found something worth his time for once. No complaining would come from him, though his mouth was wide open in awe. As he carefully made his way down the jagged aisles of egg shaped orbs. The orbs steamed and hissed as he passed by them, putting him a little on edge to be honest. But curiosity won out over caution and Hesh flicked on the HBadger's flashlight and shined it into one of the orbs. His astonishment quickly turned from excitement and curiosity into sickenend and disgusted at what he saw. Inside the orb he saw a creature, he couldn't tell what it was because it was pale, and all the furr it had was floating at the top of the orb in nasty looking clumps. The creature had several red wire looking cords going in and out of its body that pulsed every couple of seconds. What shocked him even more was that the creature sprouted a new eye on its split in half head. The eye the deformed animal just grew was pale with out a pupil or any detail and blinked and rolled uncontrollably. It was the same thing in every pod, except different creatures and different shapes and sizes. Hesh couldnt help that what was in his stomach had come up to his mouth, and frankly he didn't plan on being polite and swallowing it, nor would he give what ever did this the satisfaction of watching him make a show out of it. He let the puke come, and opened his mouth with a blank expression Hesh spat out what he brought up onto the disgusting looking floor, letting whatever did this know that he was fully and utterly disgusted and what was going on.

Figuring he had seen enough of this freak show, Hesh backed up and out of the cave of horrors, but something blocked his path from fully leaving the room. He turned slowly only to give another look of horror and disbelieve at what he saw. In the pods behind him he saw a child, a little boy, floating inside of the orb. The child had a pained expression frozen upon his face, and was malnourished. Hesh had so many fish in his lifetime it didn't take him more than a second to realize that the child was dead, floating near the top of the tube. The kid couldn't have been older than 1 years old. Another one of those pulsing cords had been jammed into the back of the child's head and appeared to be sucking something from the boy. Hesh followed the cord to another pod, fully out of the room, and was overcome with another wave of horror, in this one, was a newborn puppy, it couldn't have been more that 6 months old, alive and like the child, had a tube sticking out of the back of its head, but it was pulsing into the puppy's head. The Puppy was under going a change, spines were beginning to grow from its shoulders and hind legs, the tail was lined at the end with a whole nest of spines. Hesh let another wave of vomit escape. Whoever was doing this they were turning the animals, hell even people, into monsters. Rage over whelmed all other expressions. Who were the bastards doing this, why would they do this to these animals, that kid? He was gonna make them pay, he was gonna make them all pay, he would kill them all he didn't care what it took-

"HOLY SHIT!" Logan screamed.

Hesh's head whipped around to see what made his brother scream, and was horrified at what he saw.

FOR FULL EXPERIENCE: watch?v=aYh3k0SxdIY

A creature like the ones that were growing in the room he had just left was staring down his baby brother who was knocked down flat on his ass by the power of the creatures roar. The monster was pale like all the others, but was larger, extremely larger than the others, the size of a lion, with a split head, several rows of teeth, and six dead looking, sickly yellow eyes. Spines grew from is back and the way it stood made it resemble a giant frog. Mandibles like a crab's hung from its disgusting dribbling maw, and the back of its head flared up when it roared. The creature roared again, a loud gurgly high pitched roar at the two who once again were disgusted at what they stumbled acrossed.

Logan managed to scramble back out of the way of its claws and teeth, and when he was sure he was far enough away he stood up next to Hesh quickly. "That thing is an abomination, this place is a freakshow factory!" Hesh told Logan over the screams of the abomination, in question, who did not move from its position due to the long red cords coming from its back. The cords were sticking every where, on the walls and on the ground, all leading to one place; the egg room Hesh saw. That thing was a guardian and a power source!

"Really?" Logan blanky declared, out of breath. "Well, I think its about time we shut down production!"

Hesh looked at his brother, stared for a moment, then didn't say anything as he shook his head. "No… Just…..no…"

Pulling out his Hbadger again, Hesh cocked it and with impressive marksmanship, shot all the cords from the monsters back, severing the connection of the creature to the eggs. The cords went dark, as the life source they fed from was severed from them. The eggs began to pop, the other abominaitons spilling out onto the floor, either dead or writhing and squealing as they began to die. The creature roared in anger, and in agitation used its enourmous paws to make large claw marks in the already uneven and cracked concrete.

"You realize were gonna have to fight that thing now right?" Logan asked warily, staring at the enraged behemoth.

"I intend to Kill that sonovabitch for what its been doing for all the horrors I've seen! And because his face is stupid!" Hesh replied back. Logan never understood it but sometimes when Hesh had to kill something, it was usually justified with a childish reason as to why it needed to die. He made a mental note to confront his brother about that later.

The boys readied their weapons, Hesh with a Honey badger in one arm, and a automatic pistol in the other using his thumb to hold the pistol, and his fingers to cock back the barrel. Logan with a handful of throwing knives, one in each knuckle, his tomahawk gripped tightly in his teeth, and a semi-automatic pistol in the other, doing the same method of prepping it as Hesh.

"You ready?" Hesh asked his brother.

Logan nodded, and with a responded with a muffled, "Orh yeh, less do 'his," through the tomahawk, and then charged.

This was a plan of attack, as Logan charged forward, full speed as Hesh unloaded round after round into the creatures hide, creating several points to which Logan could inflict serious damage.

The creature roared and squealed in pain, recoiling from the small pieces of metal, ripping through its body, causing it to rear up on its hind legs in pain. Logan had closed the distance between them, letting the knives in his hand fly, each sinking into different areas in the creature with sickening "shulks" and "spurts". Using his momentum, he made a flying leap towards the behemoth like a high jumper would clear a bar in a track and field event. Logan cleared the creature, legs first, narrowly missing the maw of jagged teeth that snapped at him. He twisted round to where he was face to mandible to the creature, and grabbed his tomahawk. With the butt of his pistol he rammed the lower jaw of the creature shut, to prevent any more close calls, then with the tomahawk now in his free hand, buried it into the creature's left… set of eyes. He cleared the monster, landing behind it and scrambled to get clear of the flailing claws. The creature shrieked, and clawed at its face desperately trying to remove to foreign object from its head. With Hesh pumping magazine after magazine into the creature, Logan took the opportunity to fire off a couple shots into the creatures back. The creature gurgled and squealed and began to claw at its back, trying to soothe the pain of the continuing onslaught.

"Gotta Reload!" Hesh screamed over the cries of the wounded monster. Logan understood, he had to keep that thing away from Hesh as he reloaded his weapon. From his leg holster, he produced another pistol, and fired relentlessly as he sprinted around the monster in a circle, trying to draw its attention. Neon pinkish-red blood sprayed and splattered the concrete. It dripped from every enter and exit wound, and flew haphazardly from the monsters maw as it shrieked and roared. Logan kept firing until he heard the terrible sound of an empty magazine. Click, click, click, click. The noise came from both pistols and a curse "Damnit!" came from Logan.

The Monster realizing it was not being fired upon in anymore began to assess its options, the tall deadly one, or the shorter one fiddling with the object that let him shoot fire from his hands. His decision was very clear then. The monster charged at Hesh, who was desperately trying to pull a stuck magazine out of its holster on his chest.

"HESH LOOK OUT!" Logan screamed in horror.

Hesh looked up just in time to see one large, pale, bloody , butt ugly mother fucker leap into the air with its arms stretched wide, ready to rip him to shreds. The creature landed on him before he had time to react fast enough. The monster proceeded to try and rip his chest apart but was stopped when Hesh's hands managed to grab its wrists. With its claws temporarily incapacitated, the monster attempted to try and bite Hesh, but it was once again foiled when Hesh's quick thinking , caused a booted foot to fly into the bottom jaw, and slide under to the neck so it couldn't get any closer to its body. The creature snapped and bite at Hesh but was only succeeding in covering the soliders face and chest in splatters of its blood and spit.

Hesh felt like he was holding up a large bus meant for larger people. The creature was putting all of its weight on him and he could feel his arms getting weaker by the second. And he could see the creatures face getting closer by the second. He shut his eyes and waited for the enevitable. But thankfully it never came. Hesh heard a more human like roar from off to the side, getting closer, until all the weight of the world was relived from his shoulders. Logan had barreled the monster over to the side, knocking him off his brother.

"YOUR NOT SWALLOWING THAT MAMMAL, REPTILIAN!" He heard Logan roar at the monster. He would have laughed, if his arms didn't feel like jelly. He couldn't move when the next enevitable happened. Hesh had forgotten he wasn't out of the clear. The monster that was a mere inches away from him , was flailing its arms around again in an attempt to regain its footing, and batted Hesh's body acrossed the room. Hesh collided near a wall with a "UGGGGH," before he crashed into the pavement, unconscious.

Logan, still atop of the creature, straddling it was repeatedly stabbing the monster with a fist of knives between each knuckle. Blood splattered everywhere. On his armor clad torso, to his gauze covered face. He continually drove his fist into the monster. He must have gotten greedy with it, because he tried to hit it again for the umpteenth time, and only hit air. The monster on the other hand, finally got its first taste of human blood. The jagged teeth dripping with the blood of its own, sunk into Logan's forearm. Logan let out a blood curdling scream, and managed to lift his left foot, and got the creature to let go of his arm by driving his tomahawk further into the creature's eye by stomping on it. The creature wailed in pain, giving its own bloodcurdling scream. They each rolled to different directions and shot up, facing each other. Logan clutched his punctured arm, several holes were in it, and though not very deep, the bite was dripping with his deep crimson blood, and a pinkish neon red that wasn't his own, and felt as if he was sticking his hand inside a tub of lava.

The creature was in a much worse shape. Bullet holes and knives littered its body, and each with their own dripping of blood. The tomahawk buried in its left eyes, was glowing pinkish neon, only the handle was still somewhat untouched by the liquid.

Logan knew he and Hesh had to finish this quickly- Wait. Where was Hesh!

Logan looked behind the creature to see his older brother in a heap on the floor, crumpled next to a erupted egg. His brother had blood coming from his mouth, and pooling onto the floor.

Logan's eyes grew wide with concern and fear. The creature looked briefly behind itself to where Logan was looking, and began of make a sound it had not made before. It was a gutteral wheezing sound that that made its head slightly bob up and down. Logan could swear he saw a smile on that ugly fucker's fucked up mouth.

It was laughing at him. It had killed his brother and it was now laughing at him.

A dam in Logan's mind exploded, and all metaphorical water came flowing like a tsunami. His breathing became ragged, his fist were clenched so tightly he heard his knuckles crack and pop. He was literally seeing red. "I'LL KILL YOU!" was what Logan meant to scream, but all that came out was the most unholy roar he had ever heard. The creature upon hearing this stopped its laughing, and began to slightly back up. He was going to kill that mother fucker. And he swore it was that he was gonna make it hurt.

Darkness was all around him. He wasn't feeling good. If anything he was cold. The new climate he was in was not what he had grown accustomed too. There was now a hard surface underneath him, instead of nothing. He was used to floating around now, but he wanted to get warm again. His vision was blurry, but he was able to make out the general shape of things. He saw the grey pavement underneath him, and to his right he saw a large blob of neon pinkish red moving rapidly behind a bush. A bush! That could keep him warm! He proceeded to crawl towards the bush, looking for a large enough opening. He came acrossed something pale, it was furry, but its head was sticking out of the bush. It had a tuft of furr growing out of it. He decided he didn't want to wait for the hair lacking thing to wake up, and found an opening into the bush. He crawled inside. Ahhhh, warmth. He remembered it well, since he was just in warmth. He yawned and decided to preserve his energy and drifted off to sleep inside his new home.

Logan roared his unholy roar once more, and charged the creature, who was still surprised that something so smaller that it, could be so loud. Logan had closed the distance in an instance, upper cutting the beast, then leaping up and bringing its head back down in a head lock. The creature flailed its arms trying to escape but Logan would have none of that. He tightened his grip around the monsters neck, until he was damn sure the wind pipe had closed upon its self. The behemonth began of gargle and wheeze and attempt to gasp, its flailing and shaking quickened, and it began to fight desperately to breathe. Logan kept the grip around its neck with one arm, and lifted the other high. He brought his large fist it down on the creatures skull. Hard. A audible smack echoed through the room. He brought his fist up again on the squirming sonovabitch and brought it down once again on the creatures neck. A sickeningly loud pop came from the creatures neck, and the lower half of its body went limp, as the suffocating creature flailed what it could on a futile attempt for air. Driving his foot into the cracked pavement, Logan began to spin on a pivot, his foot keeping him inplace, until he saw a target he was looking for. A barbed fence that was sticking out near the egg room jutting towards them. Logan spun a couple more times with the paralyzed creature in tow, its dead legs and tail dragging behind it. It's blood covered claws ripped at his torso and back relentlessly trying to escape. He would not escape alive. Logan finally let go of the oxygen deprived, crippled abomination that killed his older brother. And it was impaled on the spear headed fence. The monster was loosing blood very fast, it was suspened in the air, gurgling and squeaking like a pig with its throat slit. Blood covered its entire body and dripped out onto the cracked bloody floor. Logan limped slowly over to the dying creature. It was still trying to escape its fate, moving what it could in the awkward position it was in. Logan stopped inches from the creature with a blank expression on his face.

"I told you this was coming," he told the creature. The creature responded with its very last attempt on his life. Its maw came forward, about a hait from Logans face and snapped repeatedly. Logan didn't move. Logan didn't even blink. But his eyes soon were filled with the fires of his rage once more. He grabbed his tomahawk and with a strong pull, ripped it downwards and out of the creatures head, cutting the left side of its face in half. Its left side of its jaw hung loosly as the creasture screamed its loudest pain yet. Logan then spun, gathering momentum, and with out a sound, brought it down upon the top of the beast's head and connecting the gashes. The blood soaked left side of the beast's head, fell to the ground with a wet smack. Blood spurted from the creatures head continuously as its last cry was cut short.

"I'll see you in hell." Logan growled at the creatures mutilated corpse.

He then limped over to his brothers body and proceded to it up. The pain of the fight was nothing compared to the pain he was feeling now. He lost his mother years ago, his brother was one of the many things he cherished in life, dispite how much of an asshole he could be. He couldn't loose him too. He heaved his brother over his shoulder as the tears began to fall. But he stopped as he heard a small grunt. "Ugggh, have I ever told you how much this place smells?"

Logan couldn't say anything. All he could do was smile as the jackass known as Hesh hopped off his shoulders.

Before Logan could ask Hesh smiled, turned and yelled giving the dead monster the finger "Backpack Bitch!"

That must've cushioned his impact, Logan thought.

"You look like shit," Hesh said, putting Logans arm over his shoulder as they began to walk towards the exit.

"Good to have you back asshole." Logan replied as they walked.

They began to make there way back to the jeep, to tired to acknowledge anything besides that objective. To tired to noice anything anymore. To tired to realize that one of the eggs did not have a dying abomination at the foot of it, little footprints near where Hesh was laying, and the slime that covered the opening to his backpack.

PHEW! That took for ever!
