Hi everyone! Okay, I know I didn't update last week, but I'm working on it. I just have a lot to write…. So I'm giving you guys this short chapter this weeks and hopefully I'll have a chapter of something else done by next week.

Anyways, hope you like it! ^_^

Deidara sighed in boredom as he walked along the dusty path next to his partner.

"Hey, Sasori danna, I'm going to make one of my birds and fly ahead un," the blonde stated, already reaching his hand into the clay pouch on his hip.

"No brat, it's about to rain and you could get struck by lightning," Sasori said, sparing his partner a brief glance. Deidara frowned crossing his arms over his chest.

"Oh come on danna, you're more likely to get attacked by hunter-nin than get struck by lightning un" he argued rolling his eyes.

"I don't care brat, you're not making one of your birds," he growled.

"Fine…" he sighed, watching the lightning flash in the distance. The silence that had settled over the two was interrupted moments later by rustling coming from the nearby bushes and trees. Both artists got into fighting stances, Deidara preparing his clay and Sasori taking out two of his puppets, as several hunter-nin burst out of the forest and attacked. Though they were no match for the Akatsuki members and were quickly defeated. Slowly a smirk made it's way onto Deidara's face as he looked over at Sasori.

"See danna, I told-" but he was cut off as a bolt of lightning shot down from the sky, striking him. Sasori watched with a bored expression as his partner fell over, before he smirked.

"No brat. I believe it is I who has told you." And with that, he continued on along the path.

. . . .
