Meanwhile, Charity's friends were still standing where their friend had left on a quest with her dare. She hadn't come back up yet, and it had been hours. They were panicking, but not badly enough to call the police. Last time something similar happened they called the police right away, and it was just a false alarm. They couldn't do that again . . .

Yet that doesn't mean they weren't utterly calm and organized.

"Holy crap, what if that place really was dangerous?" Anabel was on the brink of whining.

Elise was beside her, both of their arms locked in one another to support each other. She refrained from shaking, but her fear was still obvious. She shook her head unsurely, looking to her friend worriedly. She swallowed.

"Maybe she's just messing with us? Or left early?" She suggested.

"No, we . . . we gotta make sure she's alright." Anabel said for the tenth time.

"There's no way I'm going in there." Elise immediately stated.

"Well how else are we -" Anabel stopped for a moment, face palming. "Oh. Oh my gosh."

"What?"

"We could've called her this entire time."

Charity's phone could be heard buzzing outside the door, promptly where she dropped it in one of the many times she was running for her life. It was absently vibrating, with nobody to listen. Charity was fast asleep and Crowley wasn't in the same room anymore.

"Ugh she's not picking up . . ." Anabel groaned and flipped her phone shut. "That's it, we have to go in there."

"What? No! Haven't you ever watched a horror movie?!" Elise demanded. "If you go after the victim you die too!"

"Charity isn't dead, she's just lost!" Anabel countered defensively. "She is not dead."

Elise nodded, inhaling deeply. "Alright, she isn't. We'll go in."

"Need me to hold your hand?" Anabel teased.

"No!" Elise scoffed before briefly frowning. "Maybe? Yes."

"C'mon, big baby." Anabel clasped her hand. "I'm sure she hasn't even scraped her knee."

They began walking towards the dark where Charity once did, having no clue what they were about to witness.
