Summary: When Tsuna and the others were resting after the battle with Byakuran to save the future, they found out a secret Tsuna has been keeping from them, his childhood love story.

Tsuna sighed. "I am Sawada Tsunayoshi, Vongola Decimo."

"Gokudera Hayato, Storm Guardian and Juudaime's right-hand man." Gokudera followed.

"Yamamoto Takeshi, Rain Guardian. Nice to meet you again."

"Sasagawa Ryouhei to the EXTREME, Sawada's EXTREME Sun Guardian."

"Dokuro Chrome, Second Mist Guardian."

Yuri raised her eyebrows questioningly. "So, I take it, all of you are involved in the mafia."

"Yes," Reborn said. "And you Byakka will be involved too, whether you like it or not."

"Reborn!" Tsuna shouted.

Reborn ignored him. "What do you think?"

"It doesn't matter to me, because I also have a connection in the mafia."

They did not expect that response.

Chapter 18. Yuri's Secret.

Tsuna gaped at Yuri in disbelief. He never thought that Yuri was involved in the mafia too.

Yuri closed his mouth for him.

"Ironic isn't it." She told him. "That you want to keep me away from the mafia when I already have a connection with one."

Reborn tipped his fedora downward. "What kind of connection do you have?"

"My father was in the mafia until I heard that he was dead. When I was 4, my parents divorced, and then my mother and I moved here to avoid the mafia."

"Were your father a part of a famiglia?" Reborn asked.

"I don't really know. I never heard or saw him again since I was 4. It was my brother who informed me about his death. Actually, it was just last year that I met my brother again since I moved here."

"Does that mean that your brother also a part of the mafia?" Reborn asked.

"Yes, but he doesn't really tell me much."

Tsuna was stunned. "This is really ironic. Is fate mocking me?"

"Fate really is twisting our life, isn't it?" Yuri commented.

"Ah, so, everyone is here." They were surprised by the new voice.

They were surprised to see Byakuran. He was smiling and waving at them. They stood up in surprised. Byakuran looked at Yuri and beamed at her. He ran straight at her and trapped her in a hug.

"Yu-chan, I miss you."

"How did you get inside?" Yuri asked in surprised forgetting the fact that Tsuna damaged her door.

"The door was opened," Byakuran said innocently.

Yuri looked at Tsuna in accusation when she remembered about her door. Tsuna gave her an apologetic look.

"That doesn't mean you can just walk in without permission." Yuri scolded him and moved away from the hug.

Yuri moved away from him. Byakuran pouted because he was ignored. The others decided to sit down again.

"How did you know this Marshmallow Bastard?" Gokudera shouted.

Yuri frowned. "Gokudera-san, I am pretty sure our parents were married when they have him. And I know him because he is my older brother."

For the second time that day, they were stunned and could not believe what they heard.

"Did I hear that right?" Dino looked at the others to confirm his hearing.

"Is that so surprising?" Byakuran asked. Their faces clearly said 'Yes.'

Byakuran pouted and put his face beside Yuri.

"Don't you see the family's resemblance?" He said.

"Well, both of you do have violet eyes," Tsuna said as if he just noticed that.

"Yu-chan, this is your fault that they didn't realize that we're sibling," Byakuran exclaimed.

Yuri raised her eyebrows. "Isn't that a good thing? I was trying to avoid the mafia after all."

Byakuran pouted.

"Wait, are you telling me that you killed your own sister in the future!" Tsuna suddenly exclaimed.

Everyone else seemed to realize about that too.

"Yes, I did," Byakuran said casually.

"And, I am guessing that it's because she is your sister that you're so protective of her too?" Tsuna asked.

"You're right, Tsunayoshi-kun. So, don't be surprised if you get another threat from me if you hurt Yu-chan." Byakuran smiled.

Yuri turned to Byakuran. "Threat? What did you do, Aniki (Big Brother)? And why did you never tell me that you are a mafia boss? I just find out when Tsuna tell me about the mafia."

Byakuran looked nervous. "You don't have to worry about it, Yu-chan."

Yuri looked at him in annoyance. "Fine, whatever." And proceeded to ignore him

"Yu-chan, don't ignore me," Byakuran whined.

"Don't talk to me until further notice," Yuri said monotonously.

Byakuran pouted. The other sweatdropped at that.

"So, why did you kill her in the future?" Tsuna decided to ask.

Everyone in the room was also curious about Byakuran's reason to kill his own sister.

"Well, she could be a weakness to me. So, if she died then no one can use her, isn't that great." Byakuran said innocently.

"What a twisted logic do you have? I wonder where our parent went wrong with you." Yuri commented monotonously.

The others could not help but wonder about the same thing.

"And, don't tell me that you kill Chichiue (Father) for the same reason," Yuri said.

"You killed your own father!" Tsuna exclaimed in surprised.

"What kind of family I born into," Yuri said in exasperation. "You know, how strange it was that you found a stranger came to your house that turned out to be your long lost brother. And you just said so casually 'Hello, Yu-chan, I am your brother, Byakuran Gesso, nice to meet you again. Oh, right, I killed our father recently, he's just so annoying.' And I could only blink while wondering if I was going insane from all of the depression caused by Tsuna."

"Don't be like that, Yu-chan. I killed our father before I got my memories from the future, so it couldn't be helped." Byakuran defended himself.

The others could only look at them in disbelief.

Yuri sighed. "All right, I forgive you."

Byakuran beamed at her. "By the way, your hair looks horrible."

Yuri raised her eyebrows. "What of it?"

"Don't you want to look pretty?" Byakuran whined. "I want you to look pretty."

"But, I like my image as a plain girl."

Byakuran blinked in disbelief. "What's so good about being plain?"

"People will ignore my existence." Byakuran almost gaped.

"This won't do. My sister can't be plain. I will make sure you look pretty." Byakuran said while nodding at himself.

"But, I don't want to," Yuri whined. "I am not pretty at all."

"Yu-chan, you can look pretty if only you're not too lazy to take care of yourself."

"I can't believe I am hearing this from a man. Not even Hahaue (Mother) care about that."

"Oh, don't remind me about her. I would have killed her too if I haven't got my memories of the future." Byakuran looked annoyed.

Yuri rubbed her forehead in exasperation. "Aniki!"

And so, that was how they found out about Yuri's shocking secrets.

After Tsuna and his friends left, it was only Yuri and Byakuran left. They were sitting on the sofa across from each other.

Yuri was looking at him seriously. "So, what is it you're not telling me?"

Byakuran smiled looked strained. "I don't hide anything from you, Yu-chan."

Yuri narrowed her eye at him. "Aniki!"

Byakuran looked away. "Well, look at the time. I am sorry, Yu-chan, I must go."

He then left hurriedly before she could stop him.

"ANIKI! COME BACK HERE!" Yuri shouted from the front door.

Yuri rubbed her forehead in annoyance. "If he doesn't want to tell me, then I will find another source."

Yuri walked inside and closed the damaged door. She went to the phone and picked it up. She dialled the number and wait.

"Hello, Hahaue," Yuri said to the phone. "Aniki told me about the mafia today."

"Yes, he told me everything. I still can't believe it. But, he didn't tell me much about the details. He said to ask you." Yuri smirked triumphantly.

"Take that, Aniki. Even if you don't want to tell me, I still get it, although I feel bad for lying to Hahaue." She thought.

The next day, Yuri found her kitchen was occupied by a toddler wearing a suit and fedora.

"Reborn-san, what are you doing here?"

"Call me Reborn. From now on I will be your home tutor."

Yuri blinked in confusion.

"I will raise you into a great mafia boss's wife."

Yuri blinked. "I never agree to this."

"You will when you marry Tsuna."

"What! We're not even dating."

"That's right, at least not yet."

"Did Tsuna know about this?"

"No."

Yuri rolled her eyes. "I should have known. If he knows he would have been here apologizing, whining and denying everything."

"That's right. A good wife should know her future husband very well."

Yuri's face became red in embarrassment. She tried to control her outburst. Then, she sighed.

"I give up. Do what you want." Yuri walked away from him and decided to ignore what just happened.

Reborn had a gleam in his eyes. He was impressed that she did not lose her temper with him and managed to keep her cool. Yes, she will become a great wife for Vongola Decimo.

{K~H~R}

That morning, Yuri went to school as usual. As if fate wanted to see a scene, she arrived at the school ground at the same time with Tsuna, which was surprising, since Tsuna rarely came early to school.

They looked at each other nervously, since this is the first time they meet after the conversation at her house.

"Good morning, Yuri."

"Good morning, Tsuna."

The other student, who saw them, began to whisper to each other. Some students pointed at them and insult them.

"Look! It's true. Dame-Tsuna and Dark Flower are really dating."

"Well, both of them are the least popular people, who would want to date them? They must be so desperate to get a date."

"Ha ha ha, it's Dame-Tsuna and his Dame's Lover."

Tsuna and Yuri ignored the insults.

"Do you regret it?" Yuri asked.

"No, but I did promise I will protect both of us, didn't I?" Tsuna said. "I won't let you get bully again, and if I wasn't there to do it, at least we still have our friends to depend on."

Gokudera shouted at the students. "What are you looking at? I will blow you up."

Yamamoto laughed. "Ha ha ha, Yuri is our friend."

Chrome was standing protectively near Tsuna and Yuri.

The other students looked annoyed and disappointed but decided to leave them alone.

Yuri laughed. "This feels great. No one ever stood up for me before."

Tsuna felt happy. He missed this so much. He missed seeing Yuri's smiles and hearing her laughter.

Tsuna gave her a sad smile. "I am sorry."

"Tsuna, I don't mind, whatever happens, I will always be here for you." Yuri gave him a smile.

Tsuna smiled at her in embarrassment. "Yuri, don't say something like that so casually. It's embarrassing."

They then proceeded to walk to their classes.

"By the way, you really should take better care for your hair," Tsuna told Yuri.

Yuri rolled her eyes. "And you should smile to me more often."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Tsuna looked at her in confusion.

Yuri sighed and shook her head. "Just forget it."

The day went as usual for them, although some troubles still happened occasionally. But, they were happy with their life and glad for the choices they made.
