In the middle of a once green plain, now turned to a barren wasteland, two titans fought each other in a duel to determine the fate of the world. The planet itself shook every time the two had clashed, but now the battle was reaching its climax. Two separate beams, each having the power to end stars a million times over, met half way forming a gigantic orb of energy where the two fighters sought to overtake the others. This bluish orb they formed continued to expand, growing evermore wider when its wielders commanded more energy into the Kame house's signature attacks.

Vicious winds blew away rubble for miles, the force of it all even caused earth to crumble. Not even the earth's mightiest heroes could stand against the turret of air despite their distance from the two great powers. Even from where they stood the roar of the two beams still threatened to deafen them. Each of them held a look of shock and awe. Never could they imagine a power such as this. To think that one of the people responsible for all this destruction was nothing more than a little boy, age no less than twelve, and was battling the greatest threat the universe has ever seen.

Said boy stood near the epicenter of it all. Shattered earth pelted his being but was quickly disintegrated by his very aura. His ki, the energy he has long since mastered, flared violently like a flame standing up to a storm. He defiantly held his stretched out arms up, bloodied as they may be, and continued forcing this energy into the colossal wave that fed the expanding orb. From his position he could see his beam inch forward, pressing back on the green monster's own just in the slightest but never making it past the halfway point. The pre-pubescent warrior felt disheartened by this, his morale weakening at the sight. As if sensing the boy's turmoil, the warrior's opponent applied more force.

He saw his opponent's beam crawl over his own, a sight that did not grant him confidence. His will was already shattered and the Kamehameha wave continued to sap away his strength. Gohan gritted his teeth. Exhaustion was taking place and his injured state was doing little to make matters better. He would've given up had the fate of the Earth not been a factor and for his father's constant string of support.

Gohan's arm shook violently, begging him to give in. His knees buckled as the fatigue began to overtake him. It took every ounce of the hybrid's will to not collapse then and there, to let Cell earn a victory.

"GOHAN!" The warrior heard his deceased father's voice ring once again, "DON'T GIVE IN! IF YOU DO THEN YOU'LL MAKE EVERYTHING WE SACRIFICED BE IN VAIN!"

Feeling determined, the Saiyan-Human child held his ground. He had to close his eyes just to concentrate, too focused on drawing out his power to take care for his surroundings save for the beam struggle and the phantom of his father's voice.

Cell frowned at this. No matter, his reserves were far from empty and he was confident he could outlast the boy. A grin spread out on the Bio-Android's face soon followed by a laugh.

"It's over kid! I can sense you slipping!" Gohan heard Cell over the roar of their beams colliding.

Piccolo stood helpless, watching as he saw his pupil, his friend, beginning to lose the struggle. A scowl made its way on his face. He couldn't stand aside like this anymore! With a roar that shocked the other Z-fighters he flung himself towards the Bio-Android.

"Special. Beam. CANNON!" The namek cried out, the spiral attack shot from the tips of his fingers and began drilling into the empowered Cell's backside.

The green creature grunted. His concentration broken, the energy in his Kamehameha faltered just the slightest allowing the Saiyan to push back once again. Cell quickly grew annoyed by the namek's attempt to aid Gohan. With a shout a Ki wave easily blasted away Piccolo. The Bio-Android was ready to focus once again on the beam struggle when new pains shot throughout his back.

Following the Namek's example, the other Z-Warriors rushed to aid their friend's son. Krillin and Yamcha both chanted the same technique: the Kamehameha. Both fire simultaneously and struck the green menace but to no effect. Tien himself fired his own signature technique, the Tri-Beam, but like his allies it too showed to do little against Cell.

Piccolo willed himself to get up. The monster managed to severely damaged him with nothing but a ki wave. He almost feared Cell...but that did not rival the fear of losing his friend. Gathering ki into his fingers once again, he too launched his own attack.

Cell found himself quickly irritated. Their attacks, while futile in attempting to harm him, were breaking his concentration and weakening his stance. This has caused his enemy, Gohan, to slowly push against his own kamehameha.

"Enough of this! Why won't you just die!" Anger seethed out of the android. Shouting once again, he released a powerful wave of energy. This one containing more force than the one prior. The humans and namek felt themselves launched off their feet, unable to withstand the force of Cell's explosive wave.

Clear of the annoyances, Cell put all his efforts in overwhelming his opponent. No more toying around. Pulling from his reserves, Cell placed all of his energy into finishing the fight. His beam forced itself forward; the stalemate was finally broken.

Gohan watched in horror as it crept closer closer. It was barely but a few feet from him at this point. His energy was draining fast and only a thread of will remaining kept him firing the iconic beam.

'I. Will. Not. Lose.' Gohan struggled to tell himself, desperately trying to keep Cell's attack at bay. This was all made easier by his late father's encouragement. Son Goku talked of loss, and the pain that came with it. The thought alone was enough to make Gohan's heart to beat faster and a new wave of energy washed over him.

However Cell's attack still crawled forward. Twenty feet. Ten. Five. Gohan could see his attack shrink by each passing second. It was only a matter of time until his inevitable defeat...until the Prince of Saiyans decided to interfere.

Vegeta stared emptily at the clash before him. Never before had he had been so humiliated in his life. It was painful enough to lose to third-class scum but to see himself dwarfed by the son of the very man who defeated him? A child who only carried half of a warriors' blood? It was almost enough to make him go into a blind rage at the unfairness of it all...but what truly stung him was the selfless act of his supposed rival. For all of Vegeta's talk of pride and honor, nothing he has ever accomplished could ever compare to the Son patriarch. How could he just sacrifice himself like that? So confident in himself even at the face of death. No fear. No regrets. Only pride in himself and his son. What did that make of the Prince, who had purposely ignored his own and was the reason Trunks was brought near to death?

Vegeta snapped out of his reverie by the distant sound of a shout. He saw the remaining Z-Fighters be flung away by a shockwave of ki. He watched as each other them got back up only to be defeated again. They didn't possess the power to harm Cell...but he did.

Blasting off with a trail after him, he shot straight up into the sky. He positioned himself just above Android and began drawing out every ounce of energy he could muster for one final attack. A blue orb shined brightly in his open palm and soon enough it began to rapidly grow. Vegeta felt himself become tired. Not enough to kill the Bio-Android but just good enough. Praying that his aim held true, he fired...

"BIG BANG ATTACK!" Vegeta shouted. He watched with satisfaction as the explosion forced the Android to jerk slightly, enough to break the stance and give Gohan a chance to finish the menace off entirely.

"VEGETA!" The android cried out in pain.

"Release your power Gohan, release all of it! Remember all the pain he's caused…now make that your power! Release everything! DO IT NOW!" Goku all but shouted to his son.

Thoughts of his friends lying unconscious on the floor, his mother put in peril…Sixteen's death. The pain. The regret….the anger. It all came flooding in. It was then he exploded. He willed everything into this final push. His fierce aura was replaced by a tidal wave of pure energy. The kamehameha spread from his arm and soon his entire body was emanating the beam. It swelled and was consumed by the tip of the attack. His kamehameha violently pressed against Cell's, tearing apart its opposition in a quick pace. It took but a moment for it to completely overtake the android's own attack and engulfing Gero's 'perfect machine'.

Cell attempted to resist, to hold himself steady against the wave that the boy was producing. However, with every second he grew weaker to point where he could no longer sustain his own attack. It was here that Cell would see the image of Gohan steadily marching forward as his final memory. The android convulsed violently, pieces tore themselves off the creature.

"I'M SUPPOSED TO Beeeeee perrrfeeeeeee…" Cell's voice soon died out, drowned by the kamehameha's roar.

Once he was certain that his enemy was finally vanquished, Gohan released his hold of the Kamehameha and let it fire harmlessly into space. No sooner had the hybrid did that fatigue overcame him. His golden locks reverted back to its onyx color signifying an end of the super saiyan transformation. He felt numb and finally his legs gave out. So numb the hybrid was that he never felt hitting the floor...

Gohan stirred when incoherent whispering reached his ear. His mind felt heavy and sluggish as if replace by lead. Had he passed out after the beam struggle? It certainly seemed like it. If so where was he? He was laying in grass if the prickly sensation on his skin was any indication. The Lookout held smooth tiles and lacked any sizable plot of grass, so he couldn't be there. Was it possible that he was home back at Mount Paozu? Before he could continue with that train of thought, a shout pierced his ears. Curious, he willed his eyes to open. Shining blue skies assaulted his eyes, but the sight of clouds far into the distance proved his hypothesis.

Sitting up, he was met with a weird sight. Instead of the familiar home his father and grandfather built he was hoping to see, a sea of students and a myriad of strange looking creatures were staring back at him. The humans covered their mouths, snickering at what he presumed was him, and creatures looked silently at him although some backed away and into the security of students. He turned his head to the direction of the shout and found a small girl, barely any taller than him, talking back to an older man dressed in a navy blue robe and a wooden staff in hand.

The girl seemed furious. As to what it Gohan did not know, but the glare she sent his way made him believe he was the focus of her ire. She spoke again to the bald man in a far more pleading tone with words that Gohan did not understand. The man replied with a short response to which the girl bowed her head in defeat. The older man almost looked sorry for the girl, as if he had failed her, and told her something else. She takes a step back from her elder, meeting his gaze before nodding.

At this point Gohan was getting confused. What was going? Why was there a group of people near his age gathered around with strange creatures and staring at him? Where was he? All these questions ran in his mind and many more quickly formed. He desperately wanted answers, but before he could even utter a single word a bluish light began shining from the ground. The girl started reciting more unknown words, all the while closing distance. As she grew closer, the lights glowed brighter. She must have been the cause of the strange light, he thought as he made a connection between the two. She got to her knees, her face dangerously close to his. His cheeks brightened from the lack of space between them.

She said her final words and the glyph below glew brighter than ever before. Unable to see due to the blinding light, Gohan couldn't stop the girl from cupping his face and bringing it to her's. A soft feeling brushed his lips for a brief moment before the feeling passed. Despite his ignorance to romance, he knew what the girl had just committed.

The shine of the glyph subsided and finally he could get a clear glimpse of the girl. Her hair was wavy, a complete opposite to his onyx spike that constituted his hair, and was of a light pink color. The petite frame of her's was hidden behind a cloak that hung over her white uniform and was held together by a golden pin with engravings on it. In truth, the boy would've said that she was cute, but before even an echo could escape his lips, a searing sensation fired throughout his entire body. It was a feeling unlike he had ever known.

A small scream left him, but his fatigue, coupled with the strange feeling, overtook him. His shout died out as he fell to the patch of grass, unconscious and unaware that the world he knew did not exist.

Alright, I'm going to point this out rewrite now: as much as I want to continue this story, it would be almost impossible due to the insane power difference between DBZ and Zero no Tsukaima. Now, if you guy's don't mind Gohan getting nerfed then maybe, just maybe, I will continue this story. Like I said previously, or in the case of those who never read ADSFAF before then listen up, I have no plans to continue because of the reasons already listed. This is merely an updated version of the first chapter of the rewrite, since I felt bored I decided to do it.

Sorry for getting your guys' hopes up. 123GOHANZ out!
