Epilogue: This is how we do it...

Matt, Kinzie, and I were working on blueprints for the time machine, "So, Boss is going to go back in time, stop Zinyak at that press conference, and everything will be normal?" I asked,

"It should, if he doesn't mess up too badly." Kinzie said,

"Sara, can I see you for a second?" Boss asked via headset,

"I'm comin, be right back guys." I walked out of the room and met up with Boss,

"What's up?"

"I want to talk to you."

"Okay..."

"I just wanted to say thank you, for everything, I really appreciate it."

"You're welcome." I smiled at him,

"And hopefully we can fix this whole thing."

"Yeah." I agreed,

"Oh and Sara, there's something I've never told anyone, ever, not Johnny, or Kinzie."

"What is it?" Apparently I had a certain quality that Johnny or Kinzie didn't possess,

"My name is Jamie." Woah, I did't even know boss had a name... I thought he was just... Boss. I wasn't quite sure how to respond,

"Don't tell anyone or I'll throw you off of the ship."

"I won't, but since you told me something personal about you, I feel I should share something personal about me."

"Okay, whatever floats your boat."

"My middle name isn't even Rose."

"It's not?"

"No, its Roslynn, but I hated that middle name, so I stuck with Rose, and anyone who taunted me about my name got the shit beat out of them."

"Wow, well, your secret's safe with me as long as mine is safe with you."

"Of course, have I ever let you down before?"

"Can't say that you have." We smiled at each other.

Later that day I was relaxing after a hard day of time machine work when Shaundi came into the room, "Remember when Zinjai said Zinyak kept a menagerie of his favorite humans?"

"Yeah, why?"

"You better come look at this, I think you'll find it to be a pleasant surprise."

"Uh... Ok." I got up and followed her out. She took me back to the mothership, "Am I going to have to punch someone?" I asked,

"Why do you asked?"

"The last time someone surprised me they got punched in the face."

"Trust me Sara you're going to love it." She smiled.

We walked into a room where Zinyak kept all of his victims, Boss and Johnny were standing there, side by side, like they were trying to block something, "What's going on?" I asked,

"We found something for you." Johnny said,

"Yeah I know, now what is it!" They stepped aside. Standing there was a brunette girl, about the same age I was, she had pale skin and light blue (almost gray colored eyes), "HOLY FUCK! STACY!" I ran at my best friend and nearly tackled her to the ground,

"Ah! Hi... Sara." She gasped. Stacy and I had practically been best friends since day 1, we were partners in crime, and when I left for the White House, I visited her a lot. She was one of the most important people in my life, "Sara..."

"Yeah?"

"Um... I'm not wearing any clothes."

I let go of her, "Right, let's go find you some." I took her back to the smaller ship to put some clothes on.

"Okay so this is like the uh... Living room, I guess." I turned toward Stacy, she was staring blankly, "Stacy?" I snapped my fingers,

"Huh? Oh sorry, I'm just trying to grasp the concept that earth was blown up..."

"It's okay, we're working on getting it back. C'mon, Boss is having a party in the simulation."

"Simulation?"

"Yeah, let's go." I took her to the simulation.

Everyone met up at the bar, we were the only ones there, "Guys as President, I feel as though a speech is required right now." Boss said,

"Woo Presidential speech!" I cheered,

"Thank you Sara."

"You're welcome."

"Anyway, I just want to say that without you guys, I probably wouldn't be here... And neither would you, everyone helped me when I needed them most and you didn't even care that I was a dick to you." He looked at us, "Humanity isn't dead and it never will be when the Saints are in charge." He raised his glass, "To the Saints!"

"To the Saints." We all repeated and raised our glasses.

Okay, now its over, feel free to applaud and enjoy a complimentary cookie sitting on the table to your left... And review as well...
