Chapter Eleven, The Start of the search

Jasper was pacing up and down as he and Rosalie waited for the others. She they were getting inpatient, they didn't want to hear their excuses they wanted to find Raiden. But Alice has called a family meeting saying it was important for them to be there.

Suddenly the door to Carlisle's office opened Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, Edward and Alice entered along with Carmen Denali. "About time you all got here. We're wasting precious time when we should be looking for my little brother instead of listening to your excuses!" Rosalie snarled her eyes starting to turn black.

"Rose babe," Emmett started only for Rosalie to growl at him. "Please you and Jasper have to listen to me, to us. We never meant to treat Rai the way we did it was like we couldn't control what we said and did and nor could we stop ourselves. You know we would never treat him like that if we get any say in it." Emmett pleaded with his wife and brother.

"Then why did you?" The Major snarled his eyes pitch black showing he was completely out of his cage. "Now 'cause of you my mate is gone and I may never see him again. He's gone to a works where a maniac tried to kill him as a baby."

"Major please..." Carlisle started but stopped when he was hissed dangerously at.

"If I may," Carmen started hesitantly as they all knew how dangerous the Major could be. "They have been dosed with some sort of compulsion potion that made them treat Raiden the way they did and they were only free from it when Raiden left. We believe it was Bella who has done this as the potion was all on their favourite past times." Carmen continued when she got no objections.

"Of course it was." Rosalie snarled throwing a vase to the floor. "She had told Rai that her aunt was a witch and she had found out about us from said aunt and she knows who Rai really is. He warned you!" Rosalie hissed at her family.

"I know baby I know." Emmett tried to soothe his wife as guilt and shame racked at his insides. "And we all hate ourselves for it. We love him with everything that we have you and Jazz know this, and we will make it up to the two of you but especially Rai when we find him."

There was silence in the room as Rose and Jasper digested all that had been said. "How did you find out about the potion?" Rosalie asked when it appeared the Major was still in control and was only glaring at him his fist clenched as he tried to fight the urge to kill them. "Carlisle told me how they felt before and after Raiden left and I guessed it could be a potion and confirmed it when I came over as my gift is magic. Much like Raiden I was a witch before I was turned and it turned into my gift when I became a vampire. Which can be rare as sometimes you lose all of your magic or some of it and the rest turns into a gift like mine." Carmen explained. "I've brought a potion to clean everything that Bella had... contaminated so it shouldn't happen again."

"Thank you Carmen." Jasper said gratefully coming back to himself now that he knew the family were no longer a threat to his mate. "Why would Bella do this?" Alice asked confused. "And I don't understand why I didn't see this earlier either."

"Perhaps she played in the blind spots of your vision." Carlisle suggested. "Be that is it may she is no longer a part of this family, she is a threat to this family like Rose and Raiden said. All I care about is getting my son back. Carmen would you be able to find him through your connections in the Ministry of Magic?" He asked hopefully.

"It won't be easy but I can try." Carmen told them uncertainly. "I can't tell you how long it would take either as we don't want to draw attention to Raiden that he is actually Harry Potter. There are those who want him killed for getting rid of Voldemort, those who want to use him as a sacrifice of some sort to bring Voldemort back to full strength and power and there are those like Albus Dumbledore who want to use him to defeat Voldemort while sending Raiden to his own death while doing so."

The Cullen Clan were shocked at that revelation, they hadn't understood the severity or the amount of danger Raiden would be in, in that world. "They want to use him as a martyr for war." Jasper hissed in realisation his eyes dude with anger and worry. "Carlisle!" Esme fried panicked. "We have to get him out of there!"

"I know love I know. But we don't want to draw attention to him. We'll move to London so we're closer to him should we find him." He told his family.

"Wait a moment." Emmett called. "Isn't Dumbledore the Headmaster at Hogwarts? That's what his great aunt Professor McGonagall told him and she didn't want to tell Dumbledore who or where Raiden was. Maybe she knows or suspects what he's up to." Emmett said in realisation.

"That's where I'll start then." Carmen told her worried cousins. "I'll try to send a letter to Professor McGonagall when I get into the Ministry tomorrow. Even when you go to London tomorrow I'll keep you posted Carlisle as it'll take awhile to get a reply."

"Thank you Carmen." Carlisle thanked his dear friend as she left for her home in Alaska. "Everyone start packing we're leaning for London tomorrow. Edward I'm sorry but Bella..."

"No I'm sorry." Edward interrupted. "I'm the one who has caused this mess by bringing Bella onto our lives. Rose and Jasper were right she's not my mate just my blood singer. Alice is my mate and I'm sorry it has taken this to happen for me to realise it." He apologised.

"It's okay Edward." Alice said as she finally got to hug her late. "We are all to blame for what's happened but we have the chance to make it up to them and Rai now." She said. "Come, lets start packing up the sooner we're fine the sooner we get to London and we're one step closer to finding Raiden." With that said the family rushed around the house at vampire speed packing everything up to either take with them to London or to go into storage.

They all could only hope that they found Raiden before anything serious happened to him. They could only pray now that where he was and whoever he was with he was safe and happy and that he would hopefully forgive them if and when they find him.

As Jasper finished packing up his room he went into Raiden's room and sat on the bed looking down at the letter in his hands. "Hold on Rai I'm coming and I'm never letting you go again." Jasper said looking at the tear stained letter Raiden had left behind all those weeks ago.
