Hey guys, just a short one-shot that popped into my head as I was listening to Blackmore's Night. Hope you like it :)

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto, nor the song Ghost Of A Rose.

Enjoy

It was indeed a nice day.

He decided he liked the atmosphere. It was quiet and peaceful, few people walking around, attending to their own business. The sky was clear and full of shining stars. The air was refreshing, carrying to him soft whispers that no other person could hear.

Without a destination, he continued walking on the roadside. His head full of images he thought were buried deep inside long ago. Everything was coming back to him again, not that he forgot any.

Gentle hands brushing his, soft eyes boring into his soul, warm hands giving faith and hope, he could feel the touch of her skin and hear her voice whispering into his ear. She promised she would always stay with him no matter what. It wasn't a lie.

"Did you miss me Sasuke-kun?"

He desperately fought the blush as he stared at her big green eyes, shining with hope. Avoiding her gaze, he simply took her hand in his and began walking. A smile adorned her face as she understood the silent answer. She always understood him.

He came to a stop at one of the cafes. The smell of coffee was so nostalgic.

"Ne Sasuke-kun, Ino told me about this new cafe across the street. Can we go try it?"

Walking to their usual table, he sat and ordered her favorite. The shop hasn't changed in those five years, everything was still the same. And he could swear he saw her sitting across from him smiling so innocently.

"I miss you, you know?"

Wandering the streets again, he shrugged the stares he was getting from most of the women. No one wanted to understand that he was already taken. Till this very moment, all his friends were trying to hook him with someone, and his answer would remain the same.

"Promise we'll always stay together."

"I promise."

Sighing in frustration, he decided to leave to a quieter place. Making his way to a near flower shop, he bought a simple white rose and left with a quicker pace.

He needed to apologize for not coming here in so long. He never forgot her, but he was trying to bury himself in work in attempt to ease the pain. Now that he was ready to face her again, he entered the graveyard with a rare smile.

"You look handsome as always Sasuke-kun."

Her white dress matched the white rose he got for her, she looked so pure and angelic. Soft breeze grew from out of the trees as she danced around, her intoxicating scent tickling his senses. He felt home again.

Promise me, when you see, a white rose you'll think of me
I love you so,
Never let go,
I will be your ghost of a rose...
