Thank you reviews, faves, alerts and anons~ I love you all and hope I'm not just wasting time with this story. (0.o) Warnings are in chapter 1 and I own nothing! Enjoy~
I'm so sorry for taking so long to update, my goal was to finish another fic before 2013 ended, but sadly problems got around work and as I explained on one of my last updates, I had to take up more hours of work until another person was hired to work! Then one other friend of mine went on vacation making me take up even more hours. Lucky me {sarcastic voice}! Now Until I finish Beastly I will update my other stories, please bear with me! Hopefully the new person that I will train will come! Unlike the others that stood me up or called that they didn't like it, normally when someone needs money, they aren't suppose to care what kind of job they get! And lets not forget some stuck up bitch that thinks she can do whatever she wants! Not even a whole month working there and she thinks she could boss me around like she was working a lot more longer than me! Bitch, I worked there for more than two years and she dares come in and step all over my routine! Sometimes I feel like slapping her with a pan when I see the cook use it to cook veggies...{thinking evilly with a smirk} but sadly that'll cost me my job. {smirk falls}. Oh well, but that won't stop me from imagining it now will it! ;3
Sorry again for my rant, enjoy. {muttering some more}
Angelic Knight
Secrets
Zero's eyes couldn't possibly get wider than a three-year old's. His shock and stiff body could not move, but then again, if he moved, Kaito would be on him like bee on honey. His heart beat hard in his rib-cage just by looking at those reddish-brown eyes that caught every emotion swirling deep within him. Zero took a step closer only to have Kaito block him by holding tight around his slim waist and bring him closer. Zero didn't notice, he just stared at Kaname, as the said teen stared right back with a soft expression. Then it turned cold when his garnet eyes landed on Kaito's arm around Zero.
"Now Zero, are you going to stay like that or come and greet me," Kaname smiled softly while opening his arms waiting for the silverette.
Zero got out of Kaito's hold and ran towards him making White Lily growl as he ran and hugged the taller, stronger male. Zero felt his arms hold him tight to his body and he wanted to cry, really bad, but no he will hold it in. He is Zero of course, and he will be damned if he cried. Zero smiled that same beautiful smile while looking at Kaname─who was taller than him─in the eyes. And Kaname looked down at him surprised that Zero wasn't what he thought he was.
Kaname had pictured the silverette to be taller, and with more muscle, sure he could feel them, but this was not what he truly expected. He didn't care, as long as Zero was healthy everything was all good.
"Get away from him!" came the snarl.
Zero was forcefully ripped out of Kaname's warm and gentle hug and behind Kaito holding his gun up at Kaname's forehead. Zero's mind was blank for a moment until he heard the safety click meaning that Kaito will shoot him. White Lily was standing right next to him growling ready to attack if needed to be.
"Kaito stop it," Zero shoved Kaito making him shoot at the sky. He then socked him on the head glaring at him with his wide eyes.
"He's a vampire, a pureblood. And why the hell did you do that?" Kaito snarled holding his bruised cheek with one hand while glaring at both him and Kaname.
"Because he's my best friend! And that's not how you treat my friends. Who cares if he's a vampire?" Zero said in a tone that Kaito has never heard before, and Kaien was silently looking at the scene with a stern stare. He looked down making the shadows cover his face and glasses to glare when the sun hit them. He left not even saying anything.
"Hn, Whatever." Kaito left looking beyond livid and White Lily refused to leave Zero's side standing next to him with her growls.
"Stop it White Lily," Zero sighed looking down at her when she whined and put her head down.
"So that was Kaito," Kaname said from behind Zero, said teen almost jumped.
"Yeah, sorry for his cold attitude, I did make it this far living with him." Zero shook his head with a smile trying to lighten up the mood.
"Hmm,"
"Why don't we go inside, you have to tell me everything." Zero lead Kaname inside his home and White Lily was till uneasy to leave her master with the vampire, she didn't trust them. She was still next to Zero no matter what.
After Kaname has talked to him about finding out who were behind all the murders it were some Hunters baiting some of the vampires with sacred blood. He explained how that blood is beyond sacred, purer than a pureblood. It could rend them to their knees for just a drop of it. Zero wondered what kind of blood it was and Kaname didn't say much about it leaving him in the dark. Then, Kaname, told them all his wonderful views of Europe and brought in some pictures. Zero had wanted to see them, but Kaname already has some of them in his dorm room and promised to show Zero when they get settled. Nodding excitedly, Zero decided to go make supper for his return.
"Where is Yuki?"
"She's still a mommy's girl, so they are at the house settling. I just came here after our plane landed." Kaname said sitting on the table looking around the house, it felt more lively now than the last time he came.
"Somethings never change," Zero smiled chopping the carrots to small bite sizes.
"That's what I said." Kaname stood up and slowly walked towards Zero who looked up at him with his confused expression, it was so awkward now that they are hanging out again. Zero had shocked him when the silverette's back met his chest.
"I missed you so much, I was sad the first couple of months when you were gone. But now I'm not." Zero looked up at Kaname with a smile making Kaname smile down at him.
"Now, I will stay by your side now and forever as long as you wish it." Kaname closed his eyes leaning his forehead on top of Zero's.
For some strange reason, Zero's heart began to beat hard and fast. He didn't know what he was feeling, nor why his face was heating up. It only heats up when he's yelling at Kaito in anger. But all in all, he felt good being there with Kaname and no one else, he didn't realize that he was still cutting the carrots and sliced his index finger causing him to flinch. Zero saw Kaname open his eyes and made a small gasp when shocking-red eyes were staring back at him. Zero slowly got out-of-the-way, but Kaname swept him off his feet and sat him on the counter next to the chopping board.
"Kaname, I can get a band-aid." Zero said looking at his eyes with a slight shock remembering all the things that happened to him in the past.
Kaname looked at him with a sensual smirk and brought his index finger towards his mouth. Zero held his breath with a racing heart trying to take in more air. Kaname began to lick around the trail of blood looking deep into Zero's eyes, Zero wide-eyed and flushed face, shivered when Kaname was smirking still licking around the blood. Zero was captivated by those shocking-red eyes turn back to garnet. Zero mentally sighed in relief when Kaname was back to normal, he scooted forward only to finally realize that Kaname was between his legs and he had them on each side of Kaname. That made Zero's blush turn deeper than a rose and caused Kaname to smirk a bit seeing the beautiful blush on Zero's face. He wondered how far he could push his buttons?
"Kaname..." Zero almost whined when he felt Kaname bring him closer to his body and lick his cheek causing another shiver to go up and down Zero's lithe body.
Kaname's pink tongue trailed down to Zero's neck all the way down his collarbone and dipped his tongue on the hallow part of Zero's neck. Zero not knowing what's gotten into Kaname held the side of his arms to stay still, he never felt like this before. His skin burned with every touch Kaname gave him, it's as if Kaname pressed a button on him to feel all these emotions that are making him addicted to them. He whined when Kaname took his tongue out of his burning skin and gently blew on it.
"Kaname..." Zero moaned making his head fall back showing more of his slender neck.
Kaname kept licking him until he reached his ears and bit gently, he then tugged it lightly back. He snickered when Zero grabbed the back of his head and brought him closer. He then felt a tug when Kaname grabbed his piercing and gently rolled his tongue around it.
"My, my. Someone likes the bad boy look. And here I thought you were still the innocent boy I left behind. I guess this shows me that you're 'grown up' already." Kaname said in Zero's ears with a husky voice causing Zero to want to hear more of it.
"Damn bastard," Zero said blushing while he looked away. He slightly shoved Kaname backwards feeling cold all of a sudden, he wanted him back, but then thought over it.
"You─"
"What the hell is going on here! I came to see if there is any food but what do I get, a sick bastard trying to take advantage of Zero." Kaito hissed pointing his gun at Kaname, and Kaname stared at him blankly.
"Kaito stop it, nothing happened!" Zero said getting off the counter and almost fell if it weren't for Kaname holding on to him. His knees felt weak due something he didn't know.
"Nothing happened! Are you shitting me! You look flushed, your hair is slightly messed up, and there are shining trails on you skin and face." Kaito scowled feeling anger take over him.
"Like I said─"
"So what if we were busy before you came in," Kaname said in a very calm voice with an equally calm look while he brought Zero close to him. If this was a competition over Zero, then he would make sure to win. Not only was Kaito a threat to him, but to Zero too if he found out what Zero really is.
"You're a bloodsucker and Zero is human! That will never work out." Kaito glared punching the wall making a small crumble fall.
"That is enough Kaito, what is your problem? Ever since Kaname came back you're acting like a spoiled, jealous brat." Zero saw Kaito's face change then made a quick turn and left.
"Zero─"
"I'll be back," Zero ran out of the kitchen to see Kaito walk out of the house and into the forest.
Zero ran towards him and grabbed his hand. Kaito looked down at him with an unreadable expression and Zero looked up with his innocent one. Zero then hugged Kaito around his chest and buried his face for a bit. Kaito didn't do a thing, he just looked down at Zero.
"I'm sorry I called you a spoil brat," Zero said letting go putting both hands behind his back looking at him.
"No, I lost it. It's because his aura pisses me off. You know I'm trained to kill his kind." Kaito sighed putting his hand on the side of his face hiding it from Zero.
"I know, but can't you get along for my sake. I love you like you're my big brother I never wanted." Zero smiled lightening up the mood, though he didn't miss Kaito's frown.
"Gee thanks," He rolled his eyes.
"So we're OK big brother?" Zero used the words that caused Kaito to flinch a bit.
"Hn," he blushed looking away mumbling 'OK' to Zero making him smile.
From across the yard, a dark figure saw the whole thing from the window. He was here first, so he should be the first that Zero would run to him and pay attention only to him. He is about to be selfish and take Zero far away from this place and keep him safe and sound even if it killed him in the end. His eyes glowed a dark red when Kaito looked away blushing.
"So rumors are right that Hunters have succeeded to enter heaven." Kaien said next to Kaname looking at the scene.
"True, that is why I'm here. Once Hunters got rumor that a level E drank from two angels that night, they are coming here to Japan to see if its true. That is why I've told Zero sort of the truth. He doesn't know that angels are our weakness to the point where we would murder our kin for their sacred blood." Kaname said frowning looking at his reflection in the window.
"Did they kill the level E?" Kaien asked looking at the brunette now.
"No, he has powers compared to a high noble. You don't know what an angel's blood does to us, it increases our powers to the point where we could go insane if we don't drink more of their blood to keep calm and collective." Kaname noticed that the two are now laying on their backs looking up at the darkening sky.
"Do they know that Zero is an─"
"No and hopefully they wont for a while longer. How about you? Did you find anything?" he raised an eyebrow at the sandy-haired man who usually wore a happy expression, but now is grim.
"I actually heard some rumors coming from Noir that the Orb disappeared from heaven years ago and the Hunters that were in heaven disappeared as well. He said that the celestial warriors are probably behind it." Kaien shrugged putting his back on the wall next to the window.
"What is the Orb?" Kaname asked raising an eyebrow.
"The Orb is the heart of heaven, if it's destroyed so will heaven along with the angels. I read it when I was just a kid back them when I was interested in the angels. Anyway, I remember that if it changes a certain color then something is about to happen. I hardly know anything, but it can destroy all vampires if it falls in the wrong hands. Those were the words my mother told me when I was still small and naïve." Kaien saw Kaname stiffen for a second, then relaxed.
"So the Orb can destroy even us purebloods," Kaname looked at Kaien.
"That's what its written on the books." Kaien looked to see the other two walking back.
"Hmm, I thank you for researching." Kaname looked at the two teens who were entering the house. He and Kaito made eye contact both with the same thought in mind.
I will not lose to you.
How was it? Hope not to confusing! I will update around in a couple of days to a week or two, if I have time on my hands. Ta-ta for now~
