Potential Burnout?
Hi, folks! Pikes again. Once again, I have a heavy writing semester and now I'm dealing with the struggle if I'm not taking care of my teeth enough or if my new dentist isn't as good as my old one.
Recently, the folks behind Dragon Ball Z abridged said they'd be ending their decade-long project due to burnout as well as copyright. While the latter hasn't really been an issue, I can kind of relate to the former. Working on this for nearly 7 years with 90+ chapters and a finale still needed can be a lot. I haven't been able to keep up with my "post a new chapter once a month" schedule because of how much I'm struggling to work on setting up this final act. Anne's definitely gotten through most of her character arc at this point, but would it feel weird to shift character perspectives this late in the game? I know what happens after the setup, and as much as I'd love to write those first, I unfortunately don't really work that way.
I'm up for talking with someone about this, or if I really feel like I can't complete the setup, I can give the bullet points of what I wanted to cover.
Thank you all for being patient, and I hope things work out!
