A/N: The title's supposed to be 'Holidays, Sweaters, and Bilgesnipe,' but it wouldn't upload correctly cuz I think the site thinks 'bildshnipe' is offensive xD
"Okay, guys," Tony announced. "December First-time for warm-up Christmas presents."
"'Warm-up?'" Steve asked, growing confused.
Natasha rolled her eyes. "Just ignore Stark and let him have his fun."
Tony held a stack of Christmas-themed gift boxes in his hands. "Romanoff's not being a party pooper! She's already in the Christmas spirit!" he laughed and handed her the first box marked with her name on it.
"Should I be offended by that?" she retorted.
"I'm still not familiar with this holiday," Loki commented. "Is there more feasting involved?"
"You can ask Captain Goody-Two-Shoes for the true meaning, but it's basically a day where we get presents." Tony handed a rectangular box to Loki.
Loki turned to Natasha and smiled. "I will be sure to give you something nice, then."
"Ignore Stark," she warned him, lifting the lid from her box. "There's more to it than gifts, but if you want to get me something, you have until the twenty-fifth," she added with a wink. Natasha returned her attention to Tony's gift. She sifted through the red tissue paper and held up a bright red sweater with the word 'naughty' written in green. "Thank you, Tony, I'll be sure to wear this," she sarcastically remarked.
"Hey, you sleep with the enemy, you get on the naughty list," Tony smirked back as he passed Thor a gift box.
"I don't understand," Loki muttered, holding an emerald turtleneck in his hands. He held up the sweater to show Natasha the cartoonish picture of a reindeer sewn onto the chest.
"The horns!" Tony laughed. "Remember?" He quickly handed Bruce and Clint their presents so he could raise his arms above his head and mimic Loki's helmet.
"Natasha, you said your people are unfamiliar with bilgesnipe."
"Loki, that's not-"
"Aye!" Thor interrupted with a hearty laugh. "Where did you find such a thing, Anthony? I would like to get my Mother and Father one!"
"Oh, geez," Tony groaned, slapping his palm to his forehead.
"Yes, however this is a much more charming depiction of a bilgesnipe. Mother would surely enjoy one," Loki added.
"Look what you've started," Natasha smirked at Tony.
"Yeah? Guess who's gonna have to explain what a reindeer is?" he hinted.
Natasha stared at Loki, admiring the soft smile across his lips. He was content and enthused with his present, much like a child. She wasn't going to be the one to spoil his fun, even if it meant having to celebrate Christmases with 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Bilgesnipe.'
"Thank you, Anthony," Loki grinned. "I will wear my bilgesnipe Christmas sweater proudly."
