Wow. A lot of stuff happened. While I was in writing hell. Cloud got announced. Linkle's a thing. And Xenoblade Chronicles X came out. But that's later. Like at the end of this. But before I being this, I just want to say I do not deserve any of my fans, present or future. You guys really deserve some prize for dealing with my crap. Basically I am glad you guys enjoy my, to be honesty, crappy attempt writing.

I would like draw this thank note out to at least three pages, but this thing is already at 21 pages so here's the disclaimer: I do not own Zelda or any of these characters.

Master 3

Fi hovered through the halls of the castle, her eyes scanning left and right for her master. Fi knows her master is a strange one; his skills in magic, his odd smile, even his own origins are an oddity. Yet his past few days' behavior is, what is that human expression?

Takes the stake?

In any event, Fi's master hasn't been seen in the past few days. It was not as if he is missing from the castle, quite the contrary really. The maids and man servants have been seeing him in every inch of the place, just not with his normal blue shadow in tow.

"Ah..." She spoke small and light in recognition of her masters' black wolf tail swishing behind him as he walked down the halls.

"Mas-"

With lighting speed and swift grace Link shattered the church glass window by jumping head first out it. Seemingly not caring if this was the fifth floor.

The stunned look on maids faces would have been quite the sight to see, however Fi expression was neutral as normal, and wasn't because he this was the twelfth time this week he has done this; and it was only Thursday.

Fi stood, floating in her spot as the maids and man servants clean upped the shards of glass. Fi would usually fly after her master but the last elven times she done that he would always disappear from her sight somehow; however there was that one time she found him in the trash can in the castle town but vanished after that too. It was easy to draw up the simple conclusion.

Her master was avoiding her.

One would think this would be an impossible task since Fi is practically attached to Link by the hip. But Link used his impressive speed to dodge and avoid contact with his fairy friend yet the why was the question that floated through Fi's infinite mind.

She drew up many possible conclusions but none of them seem to fit with her master's odd behavior. Deciding she needed more help she floated down the hall pass the busy workers to the only person that she believes is best to deal with such matters of the human mind.

"Ahh, dear sister your tea is always so refreshing." Felicia complemented as she sat with Zelda in the castle garden. The rose bushing blossomed, and the flowers and fresh green grass flowed in the calm after noon breeze.

"Thank you Felicia, if you'd like I can give you're the recipe." Zelda smiled, when Felicia isn't fawning over her bother she can be a wonder to be around,

Felicia giggled lightly, "So I can try and fail to duplicate such perfection? Someday sister when I am braver." Zelda smiled at the girl's honesty.

"Excuse me, Mistress Zelda, Mistress Felicia."

The quote monotone voice of Fi, floating to them form the castle, caused them to turn their heads.

"Afternoon Fi. What can I help you with?" Zelda smiled sweetly as she noticed her bother wasn't with young woman, meaning she was her for some advice.

"Oh, your Link's fairy servant aren't you? How are you?" Felicia smiled at the little fairy.

Fi acknowledged both of them with a light bow before speaking, "Mistress Zelda I have an inquire about Master."

Zelda turned her head slightly, "Is there something wrong with Link?"

Fi stood in silence for a moment, wondering how to explain her master's even weirder behavior.

"Yesterday, at ten'O one in the morning I woke master only to find his bed empty." Fi spoke softly.

Zelda shrugged off the oddity, "Link must have gotten up earlier for some training."

"I found master sleeping under the bed."

"…Ara?" Was Zelda's intelligent reply.

"When I called out to him he screamed like adolescent girl and jumped out the window."

Please note that Fi is not trying funny. That is what Link actually sounded like.

"W-well that is-"

"Two days before," Fi continued. "I found master behind a trash can in the town. When I addressed him he ran so fast that there was a large cloud of dust coming from his feet."

Once more Fi is not trying to be funny. This actually happened.

"I-I see…"

"That morning of the same day I found Master speaking with one of the maids on the fifth floor. When I called out to him he sawn dived perfectly out the window, for the eleventh time this week."

"Huh...um well….that's uh…" What could the princess say? In all life knowing her younger brother she has never heard him acting in such a way.

"Maybe," Felicia interjected. "Link has finally grown tired of you."

Fi looked at her with her normal blank eyes, yet Zelda gave a look of slight frustration yet it was hidden under that gentle gaze of hers.

"Most fairy servants are used for a short period of time before they are thrown away." She shrugged.

"I surprised Link even kept t for this long."

Felicia isn't a cruel woman, those are actually normal words to thrown about when on the topic of fairies. Yet Zelda attention was elsewhere, more precise at Fi.

Even if someone did know Fi it would be hard to notice. It was small, yet to Zelda it was the biggest sign of things yet to come.

"That…maybe a possibility…" Fi spoke quietly, yet there was…hesitation in her tone, along with the sublet movement of her finger. It was nothing really, but for a being that shows no emotion it could have been a hint to the end of times. Yet form Fi it was nothing more than a sign of her true feelings.

Zelda kept her composure as she sipped her tea, "Felicia why don't you go and try to find Link. Maybe you'd have more luck in speaking with him?"

Felicia perked up at the thought of her fiancé, "Sure! Have a good day sister." She quickly stood and rushed out the garden to find Link.

'Good thing Link's good at hiding form her.' She thought with a slight smile.

She turned her attention to Fi, who had watched Felicia skip out of the garden. Her expression calm as ever.

'She doesn't even know her own feelings…' Which would make explaining them to her even harder.

Fairies are being without emotion. Trying to explain the complex feeling of love to them is like trying to explain sex to newborn; it's odd, embarrassing and no one wants to do it. And it's worse when you're trying to explain that's what their feeling at the moment.

'Even if she did listen to, she'll only believe in Link. And he is dealing with his own emotions.' It's easy to see that her brother is dealing with his realization that he is in love with Fi, in his own strange way.

"Fi," Zelda address the tiny fairy who turned her with a small 'Yes?'

The princesses smiled sweetly, "Do not worry about Link 'getting rid of you', you are..."

She choose her next words carefully, "Someone very important to him. He would never leave you."

Fi titled her head, contemplating the idea, yet before she could voice her thoughts Zelda raised her hand, speaking with that same gentle smile.

"And worry about my brother's odd behavior, I'll fix that."

Fi nodded at the princess's command, "As you wish Mistress Zelda."

The blue girl floated away to deal with her daily duties, Zelda sighed as her smile grew dark and foreboding.

"Now to find my idiotic little bother."

Walking through the busy bustling castle town, Link realized at that his sister is truly evil. With it being mid-day the plaza was full of merchants and buyers no one really recognized the prince, something he was grateful for. But his worry wasn't being assaulted by crazed fangirls, or touchy old ladies. His worry was small, blue, and currently floating a few feet in front of him.

'Damn that sister of mine.' His cursed his sister, yet he couldn't take his eyes at the floating beauty before him.

Hiding in a tree like a scared kitten may not be very heroic but for Link, he'd use anything to hid form his fiancé, but when hiding form Fi he'd hid in a trash can.

"I've fought armies, killed kings, even had a staring contest with a dragon," That he lost.

"But when comes to my feelings I am a complete mess…" The young prince's head hung in regret.

"A mess no, but an idiot I think we can agree on that." The voice of his sister behind him sent him flying out of the branches.

"Wha-Wha o-oh sis what's up?" He looked up from the position on his back on the ground at his floating sister. Her arms crossed looking at her little bother with mild amusement.

"I need you to do something for me dear brother." She had a smile, but there was a loss of joy in them.

"Something painful for me I assume…" The young man mumbled low enough for his sister not to hear.

"There are some things I need you to get in town." With her natural grace, Zelda glided down to his level and handed him a scroll.

Link took it with a little unease, but took it none the less. He unrolled the scroll allowing it roll to the ground. And continue to roll back to the castle.

"What the!?" Link's eyes widen in shock of the contents of the list. "I barely even know half of this stuff! What in god's name is a blue tail sin potion!? "

"Oh then you should Fi find most of those things for you." As soon as the fairy's name was mention, Link lost all the color in his face.

"Ah now that you mention it, I've seen something like that before." He chuckled helplessly, looking deeply into the list. "Yup defiantly heard of Kane's rock before."

His older sister was swift to glare at him, "Need I remind you the last time you went on an errand for me alone, I nearly blew up the castle because someone mixed up toad extract with an explosive chemical."

Link shrunk under her gaze, "Well you did say the clear bottle…"

"The murky clear bottle." Odd how such a beautiful woman could sound like demon was beyond him.

"R-Right." He smiled with great unease, the harsh gaze of his older sister.

"If you don't take Fi with you I invite every single woman in the town to a dinner party tonight where you," she poked the terrified young man in the chest to push her point home. "Are the main dish."

The main dish only gulped in response.

"That woman is more of tyrant then the ones I've killed..." The young prince sighed. With the market place so busy and him in different attire, it was harder for people to recognize him. Something he is eternally grateful for since Link is not one for large crowds of people contrasting giving their praise for his deeds or for being royalty in general. His tired blues eyes constantly scanned the stalls for items on his sisters list, but they always fell on the dilemma before him. Her blue blouse flowed and swayed as she float inches off the ground, gliding form stall to stall glancing at their wears to see if they had the items on their list. Her hair glistening and shined in the afternoon light. The delicate she used to observe ever object in her hands, the calm aura that surrounds her.

He couldn't help but think was she how beautiful she really is, but she always been this beautiful. From the day he saw her standing on the wooden platform to be sold, Link was in love with Fi. His lack of experience with love was only part of the reason why ne never acted on his feelings or noticed them. It was the forces between them.

Their race and blood meant nothing to him, to him they didn't really exist as barrier. The social norms and titles are constant on his mind but money and royalty were as forgiven to him as love. No, the biggest for between them was the girl in question. Even with the little emotions Fi has, Link know love is not one of them. His fear of rejection, the thought of her disappearing because she believed his feelings inappropriate that is more than just his worst fears coming to life. The thought of her leaving him, never being by his side again, made him feel weaker than anything else in the world.

With those heavy thoughts, his burden blue eyes watched as Fi dance for stall to stall. The light blue sundress glided with her tiny frame. Swaying and flowing with her. Her clear crystal eyes, calm, cool, and filled beautiful intelligence scanned the contents of the stands and the items they sold. To everyone, she was just a fairy. A servant to the royal family. But to Link she is the only thing keeping him stable in the world.

She turned her eyes to him, holding a potion bottle with a strange looking animal in it.

"I believe this is the item mistress Zelda needs, Master." She titled her head at the item and Link became an inferno, his face hotter than sun.

Swiftly he head his embarrassment form her, turning his head pretending to inspect a blue potion. "Y-Yeah I think so…"

'Damnit…I can't…' He was stuck. Fi has a monsters grip on his soul. No what he could do, she will always be at the center of his heart. And yet she will never know.

Fi nodded in agreement with her master and placed the bottle in her

A rose caught his eye. A violet blue rose that glimmered in the sun. It was gentle, sweet, and oddly loud but silent. Just like Fi.

"Um sir how much for the rose?" Although he was speaking to the old man, Link's eyes never left the flower.

The wrinkled eyes of the botanist smiled, "Well they are normally a rather hefty price since they come from deep in the mountains." He plucked the rose and handed it to him. "However, for a young man whose eyes brim with love, it's my treat."

The young prince's face burned with painful embarrassment, "Is it that glaring?"

The old man simply smiled, allowing Link to walk off to Fi who is currently observing another vail of an odd substance.

"Hey, Fi come for a sec." He called to her and she floated to him.

"Yes master?" She wondering about her master's summons.

Link smiled, knowing how the unmovable fates he and Fi will never be together however…

Link gently placing the rose behind her ear. No matter the cost he will always be by her side. That, just her aura around him would be enough to keep him alive.

"Fi. Remember, no matter what happens. No matter what anyone says, I will always be with you ok?"

The fairy titled her head at her master's words, wondering where they were form but ultimately she nodded agreeing with her master.

Link grinned, "Alright let's get this stuff for Zelda so she doesn't fire ball me when we get back."

Link walked off to another vendor, looking for a vail of cat's tongue while Fi watched with her head still tilted in question. But for once it wasn't about her master's odd behavior, it was her own. For some odd reason her face was slightly warm, and had become odd shade of red on her blue skin and yet she has no fever.

How odd….

Link looked at the bottle that held a cat's tongue. Or list it was something's tongue.

"How in the gods am I supposes to know what a cat's tongue looks like? We don't even have one." He squinted at the bottle until he gave up.

"Hey Fi!"

His little fairy dropped her thoughts and floated over to him, inspecting the bottle with him.

"Yes master?"

"Dose this look like a cat's tongue to-whoa!?" Link and Fi quickly bent their heads back to avoid an arrow flying between them.

Swiftly Link ducked for cover behind a few barrels with Fi right behind him as arrow sored at them. All the arrows missed or hit the barrels they were behind. Once crowded streets dispersed as five armored and dangerous men stormed though. Herding the town's people into their homes and running for cover.

"Damnit! What the..?" He peeked form behind the barrels to see five armed men strolling in the middle of town. They looked like hunters of some sort.

He cursed, "Fi! Analyze!"

"Understood." Fi closed her eyes, allowing her magic to flow through her.

Her world view became an outline of blue, as she looked at the five men in blue hues. Memorizing their height, weight, weapons, spiritual power, and clothing.

"There are five men. One archer. One with a whip. A large man with an axe. Another man with two broad swords. Another with a dagger. It's laced with a poison. They appear to be fairy hunters. Their threat level is two."

"Fairy hunters huh?" Link flexed his claws, the bones in his fingers snapping ominously. "I knew I should have brought my sowrd." He grumbled a little as he peeked behind the barrel to size up the men himself.

"Damn! Fast little bastards." The archer, a rather thin looking man with sharp eyed man, cursed as he noticed another arrow. His larger more muscle partners just snickered.

"Bah! It's a fairy and some kid. They just got lucky." He let his heavy axe rest on his shoulder. "We'll get them eventually."

"Hey didn't that 'kid' have a tail or something?" Another of the hunters, a large man with a net and multiple daggers on his belt mentioned as he cracked his stiff neck.

"Who cares!? Let's nab and bag that fairy!" The hunter with the whip snickered, "Killing that brat will just be extra fun!"

"Yeah your just rip and ready to get yourself killed." His partner, a short man with two swords grumbled as his tested his blades by twirling them around.

"What was that!?"

Link watched the two bicker for a, studying their movements. "Alright this should be a cake walk. Just fallow my lead Fi."

"Yes Master." She nodded ready for any orders.

Link dashed out from behind the barrels with Fi fly right by him.

"Fi! Defense!" He shouted out his command as rushed at the men, claws ready.

"Understood." Fi flew further at the men, gaining the attention of the whip wielder and the man with daggers.

"Get them!" The man with the axe roared as he slammed at Link. Only for him to swiftly sidestep it, a toothy grin on his face.

"Man your slow!" Link duck and dance around his swings and cuts, grinning madly at how it easy it was. The axe man raged, slashing his axe with a wide vertical cut. Link only smirked and bent backwards letting the blade merely graze the tip of his nose. The warrior tried to with a downward strike with his momentum. Only for that young prince to graceful spin out of his way.

"Ha!" the double bladed swordsman took this time to take a stab at Link, but his swords met Link's claws with a metal clang. He pushed him back just in time to dodge a hell fire of arrows that embed themselves in the stale behind them. Link continued to avoid the rapid fire of arrows. Ducking and twirling as they passed a hair breath away from him. It was easy to see that these men are professional. The way their attacks coordinate and connect proves it, but it didn't matter much to Link.

He pushed off form the ground and soared at the archer who was noting his next arrow. Link swiped at him with his claws, but he jumped back to avoid them and fired off an arrow at point blank range. Only for it to be caught in Link's fist and slammed into his face that was followed by a violent kick that sent the archer crashing into a stall.

He turned to the other hunters who were shocked by his speed. He flashed them a grin wicked with his fangs.

"Come here you little light bulb!"

Fi was flying and dancing around her enemies with a ballerina like grace. She glided in the air on a on her right foot. Pirouetting, spinning and dancing gracefully to avoiding the hunter's attacks. The whip didn't even touch her and the daggers flew by her, missing her by a hairs breath. She danced around them and their attacks, much to their frustration.

"Damn! She like a nat!" The dagger thrower grumbled as he tossed another blade only for it to fly past her.

"Then we'll squash her like one!" His partner rushed her, planning on tackling her to the ground. Fi dodged him however she was backed into a corner between him and a wall.

"Gotcha!" He lunged. Only for his face to smack dead into a wall a Fi phased through it. She popped her head out of the wall to look down at the knocked out man to confirm it, then flew off to her next target. Who threw dagger after dagger at her but only missed with every spin twirl of the dancing spirt. He kept his distance, not wanting to get caught in her trap like his friend. That thought was quickly shot as the fairy suddenly came right for him.

"Shit!" He cursed the jumped back a little too far and bumped his head on the back of a sign. Effectively knocking himself out. Fi observed him for a second then turned to her master who is handling himself quite well at the moment.

While it's true the hunters are professional, Link was making them look less than armatures. Their strikes were way off. They can never come close to hitting him with their weapons. Their blades hovered over his nose and their axes didn't even ghost over his head. They missed.

"Ha!" He taunted, dodging the blades of the sowrd men. "And you guys are professionals!?" He kicked him, then grabbed his face with hands to slam his head in the ground. The axe man sung his weapon fast and strong. But he was too slow for Link, who just back peddled out of the way then blocked one of the strikes with his claws. He countered by pushing the axe up to break his guard and slam his fist in his face.

With satisfied smirk, Link cracked his fingers. "Tch. Is that all?"

"All threats have been eliminated Master." Fi floated behind him.

"Nice going." He patted her on the head for a job well done. "Let's get hom-WATCH IT!"

Link gabbed Fi and dived for the ground as a dagger flew through the air.

"You little shit fly!" The dagger wielding hunter held his head to ease the splitting head ache he has after throwing his blade.

"Master?" Fi asked titling her head as he held her close to his chest. A dagger sticking out of his back.

"Ugh…You ok?" He asked with grim smile.

The fairy nodded, "But master you have a blade three inches deep in your shoulder."

"Tsk. Yeah." He ripped out the blade a tossed it to side. "That wasn't very nice of him…"Growling he stood up with her, glaring at the hunter and a few of his friends that are starting to get back up.

"I guess I should return the favor…." His hand glowed red. "And be just as rude!"

With a thrust of his palm Link shot a fire ball at the hunters. Incinerating the leader and knocking back the rest of them. Fi watched her master blast them away effortlessly like he would do in any fight. Yet she noticed he was panting. Breaking out in a light sweat. His temperature has even spiked too.

"Master?" She inquired in her usual monotone voice.

"You haa, Ok there hah? Fi?" Link asked with a weary smile and oddly out of breath.

She nodded, "Yes Master. I have not sustained any injuries."

"T-that's ahh…" Link tilted and wobbled until her fell on the ground panting in cold sweat.

Fi is fast. A blue blur that rushed to his side. She placed her hand on his forward head to gauge his temperature. And he was on fire. In less than a minute Link is drenched in his sweat. Fi acted fast, lifting Link up and flying to the castle. Not bothered to be worried by the how her eyes frowned for the first time in her life.

At the castle gate two watchmen looked out into the distance to see smoke coming from the castle town. With Hiruara being a very peaceful country, and with the world reputation of having an unbeatable army, attacks on them are nonexistent.

"What the-!? Is the town under attack!?" The solider on the left ready his spear and tuned to his comrade.

"Shit! Go get the-wait!?"

He spotted a blue light flying towards them in the distant. As it got closer he noticed it was the prince being carried by his fairy.

"By the gods! It's the prince!" They rushed towards Fi as she descended down in front of them.

"Your highness!" They rushed to help Link, who was sweat heavily and barely breathing. "What happened!?" They demanded of Fi.

"Contact princess Zelda and Doctor Impa-"

"Oi fairy!" The men interrupted with a harsh growl. "We don't take orders from you! What the hell happen!? Did you do this!?"

There was a twitch in Fi's right finger. "Master was attacked by a group of hunters and was wounded protecting me-"

"That's a loud a crap!" One of the knight pointed his spear at her. "The captain getting beaten by a bunch of hunters?! Bullshit!"

"You did this didn't you!?"

The distrust is understandable. She is a fairy. And her Master should have easily handled such weak enemies. Why should they believe her? A lower classed being? It is understandable, logical.

So what is this…..thing welling up inside her like…an emotion?

Princess Zelda, hearing the commotion outside emerged from the castle more curious then angry. "What's all this yell-Oh my god! Link!"

She rushed to her brother. Who is turning paler with ever weak breath and practically making an ocean with his sweat.

"What happened?" She looked to Fi, ignoring the guards protest.

"Master was stabbed with poisoned knife laced with holy blood." Fi gave the short answer avoiding the…thing in her mind.

"Holy blood!?" She nearly broke her neck turning to the guards. "Get Impa!"

"But-"

"NOW!" She let out a short burst of magic that frighten the soldiers to move.

"Let's get him to his room." Gently they lifted Link on their shoulders and cared him into the castle.

"How is he?" The king with Zelda and Felicia rushed down the hallway of the castle. Fear and uncertainty sketched deep into their faces.

"He is getting weaker by the second." Zelda tired her best not to sound grim. Trying to reassure more than just her farther. "He has a record breaking fever and he can't even move. The knife was laced with Goddess blood."

Her eyes grew cold. Balling her fist Zelda glared as if the offender that harmed her brother was right in front of her. The very thought of someone trying hurt Link or Fi made her hand light up in magically anger.

"Goddess blood?" The king looked stun. The name was only a title for a mixture of dragon's blood and fairies blood that is meant to paralyze fairies. It has no real effects on humans.

However a beautiful pure black skinned woman, her warm smile, and a sad memory appeared in his mind.

'Could this be Sari's blood?'

"Will he be alright?" Felecia asked the questions on everyone's mind. That has an answer no one knew.

A motherly woman with long tail of pearl white hair stormed down the hallway. Her burning red eyes pushed any guard that got in her way. She rushed down the hallway with a look of unease and anger stopping in front of Link's room where everyone else was.

"Impa." The king regraded her with a grim nod.

Said woman nodded, "How is he?"

Zelda answered the doctor, "He's growing weaker by the minute. He was poisoned with goddess blood."

"Goddess blood?" Impa's eyes widen in shock. Looking at the door where Link is bed ridden "And he's still alive?"

"His vitals' are dropping." Fi phased out Link's door. Her face is emotionless as usual, yet Zelda noticed how her cool eyes lingered on Link's door instead of speaking to Impa directly. "He has a high fever of two hundred and thirty two degrees Celsius."

"His blood is fighting a losing battle…" Impa mumbled.

"Can you save him? Felicia begged. Desperate for an answer on her fiancé's health.

Impa's forlorn expression didn't help the princess. "It will be hard to say. I will have to physically take out his contaminated blood form his body. That in self may kill him."

"I will assist you."

Fi's sudden and random volunteering made them all turn their heads at her. Zelda, although being the least bit surprised, was still shocked at how fast Fi was reacting.

Impa gave the fairy a skeptical look. While she harbored no ill will towards the fairy, she didn't trust her either. Not once has she seen the blue light bulb without the prince in front of her, nor has she seen her without making her own decisions. Advice yes but never deciding something for herself.

"….You will have to fallowing everything I say. Even if that means holding Link down while I cut a hole in him."

"Understood." Fi responded so quickly, it rather scared her.

"I want to help too." Felicia jumped to assist but was turned down with a shake Impa's head.

"Sorry dear, but have two pairs of hands is already worse enough." She opened the door but before entering, she turned to the crowd outside. "If will you don't want hear any screaming, I suggest you all leave this hallway."

She closed the door. And none of them left.

"ARRGGHHHH!" Even after Link's horrid yells of agony continued for three hours none stop.

Felicia huddled with Zelda. She couldn't stop herself for hearing her lover's painful screams. They are violent. Rough and animalistic. There were times when they all wanted to go in there and stop whatever Impa was doing to him. The king leaned against the wall with a stoned face. A part of him cursing himself. For he believed all this to be his fault. For giving his son this curse.

….

Odd.

The screaming stopped.

The creaking of Link's room door opening made them all rush to Impa. There was blood on her gloves.

"How is he?"

"Will he be alright?"

Zelda and Felicia are the first to bombard the doctor with questions.

Impa blinked at first form the speedy questions. "I've taken out all of his poisoned blood form his body. However the rest is up to him. He needs to rest and regenerate the blood he just lost."

She looked back at the door, however it wasn't in worry just more in suspension. "It's all up to him."

"C-Can we…" Felicia tired speak but her emotions a mix of relief and fear, kept her at bay.

"Sorry you can't see him. He needs his rest." Felicia looked dejected at the thought.

"Come dear." Said the king. A gentle smile on his face. "It is late. You need your rest too." Placing a hand on her shoulder, the king led her to her chambers.

Zelda looked around, "Where is Fi?"

"That fairy…" Impa narrowed her eyes in thought. "I've seen locality in types of ways. But that fairy. The whole time she fallowed all my orders without hesitation. Just what you'd expect form a fairy. But at the same time it was like she didn't care a damn thing about me."

She remembered the dainty and delicateness of her movements. How somber they were, yet at the same time determined. Strong. Like….

"Like a woman in love." Impa whispered those words almost like a sin.

"Zelda merely shrugged the implication off, "She's more than just some servant to him and he's more ten just her master."

Impa gave the young princess a very knowing look, as if trying to get her to reveal her cunning secret.

"Bah. Whatever." Impa groaned, giving up. "I am too old for this anyway. Just don't do anything that will cause a war your highness."

Zelda sighed, and looked to her younger brother's room. Weighing her options she deiced to creak open the door.

Link laid there. In his bed sweating heavily but sleeping soundly. His sheets pulled up to his chin as he rested. Next to his bed, obscuring Zelda's view was Fi. Sitting in a chair looking over her master. It wasn't an odd scene really. A servant looking over their master as he was bed ridden is normal even among fairies. But the expression on the normally plain faced fairy made was the turning to point.

The point that made Zelda close the door, a leave the two to their peace.

For a half week, Link has stayed in his room resting. No one has seen him or his fairy since the incident. The castle continued its normal actives. Cleaning and keeping the palace safe was their duty but they couldn't help the rumors being spread around.

The prince is dead they whispered.

The king quitted such talk but it did not ease his heart as the days pasted.

Zelda stayed locked up in her study. Sheik being her only companion and source of food as he helped in any way. He too was affected by worrying for his brother in arms. At times he would ghost past his room wondering if he should sneak in to see how he was doing to ease both his and Zelda's tired heart.

Felicia is braver then the two. Currently she is walking to his room with a cup of water and a plate of food. Planning to take care of Link while he rested.

It is a wife's duty to take care of her lover after all. Although that's what she told herself there's also the fact she could try and win some affection points too by showing her loving side. Truthfully she is worried about his health, which is another reason why she plans on visiting him today.

Slowly opening the door she saw Link laying in his bed. Breathing slowly, but sweating heavily. In beside his bed was Fi, who is watching over him. Felicia has no discontent with the fairy. She actually thinks it's cute how she always fallows him around. But today she wanted to have some alone time with Link.

"How is he?" Felicia asked the blue fairy.

Fi didn't say anything. Silent, she didn't say anything. She didn't even move. As if she is dead.

"Ah…" Suddenly she responded, as if in a trance. "Master is doing fine."

"I…see…" It was odd not hearing her talk with big words. But she let it side.

The young princess smiled, "Well, why don't you rest? You've been watching over him for a while now."

"…." Once again no response. She was starting to get annoyed.

"Come now." She placed a gentle hand on Fi's shoulders. Trying to cox her out of leaving Link and her alone. "Even fairies need rest."

"Ngh…" Link's groan drew both their heads to him. But Fi moved first hovering form her sit and then to the desk next the bed where bowl of water and a few cloths lay. She took an old cloth off Link's forehead and switched with a fresh one before checking his temperature with her. She sat back down. Her gaze still laid on Link's weaken form.

Felicia was starting to get agitated.

"Look Fi I understand you're worried about Link, but this can't be good for you. Have you even eaten?"

"…." She doesn't even remember the last time she ate anything. Nor moved from this spot.

This…thing inside her chest made her…feel. She believed the word for it was. Feel what she doesn't know.

"Look Fi." Felicia got serious. "I know Link is your master. But I am his soon to be wife so isn't natural that you listen to me too?"

It is the logical answer. Something that should have made her nod and comply with Felicia. She is a fairy. She should fallow the least painful route and listen leave the room. Her pale blues looked at her weaken master. His tired state. His poor body.

She should just fallow orders.

And yet…

"While you are due to be wed to Master that mean your orders have any merit. I am Master slave and Master's slave alone. Nothing you or the king can do to change that. All that you are, all that you say and all that do to me is…" Fi turned her head slight. So the princess could only see the tiniest of grins.

A haughty, conceited grin of a woman who's already won.

"Superfluous."

"Why you!" Felicia finally lost her patience and roughly pulled Fi form her chair.

More of those 'emotions' flowed through Fi. They pushed and override her systems. Making her act out in this thing called 'fear'.

"M-Master!" She yelled out the only person she ever felt safe with.

"Ugh…Fi? Fi!" Link, in his sickly state, suddenly sot up out of his bed and pushed Felicia off of Fi.

"What's going on!?" He demanded form Felicia, who looked at Link disbelief. The look of distain for her and gaze of utter worry for Fi made her swell up with anger. And a hint of sadness form how important he held Fi compared to her.

Fi held her master close while he looked her over. Her body immediately relaxing. Feeling safe in her Master's arms.

Even though his body was screaming at him to lay down and rest, Link looked over Fi to make sure she wasn't wounded. "Fi? Are-are you…ok…" However it seemed his sickness wore him out and his body shut down on him. Making him faint on Fi's shoulder.

"Master?" It was odd. Hearing Fi question something is…odd. She never questions. Only ask. Just like she never smirks. Or taunt.

Placing her hand her his forehead Fi noticed how his vitals were steady. His fever was getting worse. Calmingly, she cared him back to the bed and tucked him into his sheet. She changed his cloth, taking the one on the floor and letting it soak while she placed a fresh on his head. Then she sat back down her chair in. Just like before.

As if Felicia wasn't even here.

"What are you doing?" Before she could act, Sheik had appeared behind her. His blood red orbs glaring at her.

"I-"

"The king said no one is allowed in here. That includes you." His didn't move, but there was an aura power coming off of him.

She looked at Fi, who simply watched her master's health. Not even acknowledging her presence.

With Sheik's glare on her back, Felicia walked out with heat of rage rolling off of her.

The shinobi sighed. The looked back at the fairy. She appeared to not even notice him being around. He had seen the whole thing.

To be honest it didn't surprise him the devotion the two have for each other. Watching them over the past few years have taught him that there is nothing that could break their bond. When he heard of the Link's engagement to Felicia he near fell out his hiding spot form laughter. Like Zelda he knows that proposal wasn't going to last long at all.

It also helped that he bore no ill will to the blue fairy. He found the interactions between her and Link interesting. The fact that she is one of the few people that can make Link smile is also a bonus. Even the few times they've talked were rather stimulating. She questioned his shinobi skills and even gave him tips on how improve them.

"Fi." She may not be listening but he still spoke to her out worry. "I understand your worried about him but don't forget about yourself. You've been there for five days and haven't moved."

"…." She stayed quite.

Sighing again, he changed the topic. "I understand how you feel. If it was Ze-her highness, was in like that…" He shook his head, banishing the thoughts form his mind. "But we have to remember our position. We can only go so far…."

Consisting when he sees her smile. When he sees her laugh. He has to stop himself form smiling with her. Laughing with her. Hugging her when she needs it. He is her bodyguard. Not her lover. Just like how Fi is his servant. Not Link's lover.

"If you break past that line. If you go past that border Fi, not only is there no turning back, but there will be a disruption of status quos. But don't think you will be alone in this." With that he vanished into the shadows again.

Leaving the fairy with her Master and her thoughts.

Sorry for the long wait for this. I really hope you guys like it. Also because updating takes a year and f #ken centaury for me, I'll be shorting my story to 15 pages minimum instead of: "Is 30 pages enough? Nah lets add ten more!" So if a story is a 15 pages and has enough to stand on it's own as a chapter then were off to races.

Now Cloud:

Awesome idea. Glad his in. And all those people complain about that death battle video between him and Link and shut it and just smash it out. And yes I will be putting him in a story with captain green hat. They are my two favorite swordsmen, you bet I am putting those two dorks in a story together. When? Eh maybe next month. If I am lucky.

Linkle:

Cute. Adorable. Great addition to the Zelda family. But not female Link. But is female Link. Look that whole thing is about a five pages of discussion so I won't get into it here. If you want to know what I really think, PM me or just ask me on Tumblr. Basically, I love her so far, can't wait to play her, this is the step in the right direction of Nintendo, and yes I will be using her in stories.

Xenoblade Chronicles X:

Yes. It's long. Yes I love it. Yes I will be doing stories about it. Yes the main hero in my stories will be an original character. No he, and/or she will be based off my customized character in the game. No. I will not be fallowing the main plot. I don't know if I'll put a harem element or not for my character in the story. Yes. I will be using Lin as a love interest. Yes I know she is 13.

Spoiler alert: I. DON'T. CARE. And you won't too after chapter 5. Or the fact that realism was shot out of a bloody cannon into a super nova along with its sh! #y brother boring in the first paragraph of the narrative. Or the fact that she fights things that would make even Link think twice, and is more mature then any real 13 year old. Or 50 year old. Or chapter F &KEN 5. Seriously I cannot stress enough as to how that chapter slapped in the face, kick me in the nuts and said "Hey hope you have enough brain matter to understand the next seven chapters!"

Here are my favorite characters. Female: 1st-Lin and Elma 2nd –Irina 3rd-Aleixa and Mia 4th-Murdress

Male: 1st- Gwin, Vamham, Lao2nd- L 3rd-H.B

(May change as I get deeper in the game so far at chapter 6)

You may see a story from me in December. Along with Sneak peek at a big new SamusXLink story. Did I just shamelessly ask you to read my Xenoblade story just to see a new one? Yes. Do I feel any shame? Yes. The same about of shame Link dose when he smashes a pot and get 20 rupees.
