His head raced something awful, and his fists clenched by his sides. She merely rolled her eyes at him, watching as he circled around her.
There's only one possible explanation for her…
"This can't be real! It would cause a rift in time! I would tear through everything!" he groaned angrily, smashing a fist on the console. She flinched slightly, arching an eyebrow at his odd behavior. "How could I not see it before?"
"See what?" she mused, leaning seductively against the back railing. He closed his eyes in frustration. "Sweetie, what could possibly have escaped that big mind of yours this time?"
He backed away from her slowly. "Oh you know, and you've known all along." She frowned, tossing a lump of curly hair over her shoulder. "There's only one reason I would fall in love –only one person that would happen with!"
The woman sighed slightly, confused. Still, he continued on. He rounded the console the long way, until he stood in front of her.
"I told you, 'You can never see me again'. You knew the consequences. You knew something like this would happen." He cupped her cheek, and she felt confused. Yet, a part of her leaned into his relaxing touch. Suddenly, he stepped back from her, aiming his sonic at River.
With a buzz, the TARDIS filled with light, and before him was his pink-and-yellow human. Rose Tyler. "Rose Tyler-Pond. I told you a paradox was bound to happen." She tucked herself against his chest.
"But did you really think I'd stay away? My Doctor."
