My second drabble. I might make more of these, especially when I'm fed up or clueless about my multi-chaps. Unfortunately, this itself might develop into a longer story.
An AU where Spencer is the ghost and Billy is still alive. If I ever continue this they will be a couple.
The Cobra, tired of his work, brushed a bit of hair off his forehead and almost faceplanted into his bed. Only the greeting of a well-known bro stopped him from sinking into a deep, well-awaited sleep.
"Enjoyed toying with your girls?"
Billy, obviously not amused, only huffed, "They're called Cobraheads, Mr. Know-It-All." He sat on his large bed and didn't bother confronting the source of the noise.
Spencer, however, demanded attention. "Cobraheads, fans, what's the difference?" the fourteen-year-old grumbled.
Still, the popstar refused to make eye contact. He rolled onto the bed and buried his face into a soft pillow. "There's a world of differences between a Cobrahead and a fan!" Billy yelled into the fluffy material, which helped to block his voice.
Chuckling made him get up again. His companion just said, "Yeah... right," in a mumble. Frustrated, Billy playfully grabbed the pillow and threw it, making sure he hit his target.
The iridescent figure of Spencer Wright was pushed back briefly as the pillow smashed into his stomach. Billy smirked, watching as the kid struggled with the pillow. Finally, the ghost gave up on wriggling out from under the pillow and instead lost solidity, proving to be a better way to escape the weight.
"Who knew a pillow could be that heavy," Spencer muttered.
"Oh?" Billy asked, with a sarcastic tone to his voice. "I'm sorry, I did not know that at all. Thank you for beings to kind as to clarify that, Good Sir," he mocked. He stood up and did a fancy bow. Spencer did not look amused.
All of a sudden, the door opened. Billy turned around to see a young lady – and an attractive one at that – enter the room, offering Billy a number of tantalizing treats. Instead of taking one, the popstar allowed the lady to exit without further ado.
Spencer notified this as strange. Billy had always been the magnet for sweet girls, so why turn down a chance now? Finally the ghost just asked. Billy replied with, "She may have good hips, but her feet? Ew!"
The ghost shrugged self-consciously. He would never understand Billy's choice of a woman. Still, the lady was just one of the many people who served Billy. The way Cohen acted around his servants irked Spencer. He wouldn't say that Billy was harsh, more like careless. Still, it wasn't the business of a fourteen-year-old ghost, was it?
At least Cobra acted like a normal bro around Spencer. The singer had often been the one for Spencer to talk to. It wasn't just because Billy held Spencer's belt, therefore letting him see Spencer, but because BJC could help him forget his past life.
Spencer would never remember the day he had been turned into a ghost. He would never want to recall the pain. After all, he had a great friend now, despite their differences.
But Spencer also loved Billy. He had recently developed deeper feelings that he wouldn't want to let out. He wanted Billy, as more than a friend or a bro.
However, with Billy so busy with his own personal life, Spencer had no idea how to confess his love to the superstar. Unlike many, Spencer loved with passion, with a true will. His biggest wish wasn't even to return to normal life anymore. All he wanted now was Billy.
It wasn't just a hunger, it was a deathly desire.
One that was still caged and guarded.
But for how long?
Forever?
Shall I continue this? Review anyway ^^
