Now on with the story!

Chapter 1: The Beautiful Kalos

Ash was sleeping soundly on a plane. In about half an hour, he would arrive in the Kalos region. "Pika pika". Ash heard. His eyes fluttered open, and his vision focused on a yellow mouse Pokémon. It was Pikachu. "Pikachu!". Pikachu said. "Hey buddy" Ash said as he sat up straight. He stared out the window of the plane and told Pikachu "In about 20 mintues we should be landing!" "Pika pika!" Pikachu shouted. Ash settled back into his seat and closed his eyes and dozed off. He didn't get much sleep though, about 5 minutes later he heard Pikachu again. "Chu chu!" he yelled. "What now, Pikachu?" Ash spat. Pikachu pointed out the airplane window, and Ash gazed out. "Whoa! Loo at that Pikachu! Its Kalos!". Ash said, amazed. "Pika". Pikachu responded.

There it was, the beautiful Kalos region. It was about 10:30 pm at night, and the town glowed with light.

Ding. Ash and Pikachu heard a noise. Hello passengers. We will be landing shortly, so please buckle your seatbelts. We hope you enjoyed your flight from Unova to Kalos, and we would like to thank you for choosing Delta airlines.

1 HOUR LATER...

Ash and Pikachu were standing out side of the Kalos airport. They were about to begin there journey in the Kalos region. "Alright Pikachu." Ash said while looking at a map on his PokéNav. "First we will go to the nearest Pokémon Center and check out a room, then we will call my mom to let her know we made it here safely and finally we will update my PokéDex and check out what kinda new Pokémon they have here!" "Pikachu!" Pikachu replied.

Ash and Pikachu wander about the streets of Kalos admiring all the lights and sounds. Even though it was almost midnight, the streets were still busy and Ash stopped a ton of Pokémon he had never seen before. "Pikachu Pika" Pikachu said while pointing towards a 24/7 bakery. "Don't worry Pikachu we can get something to eat at the PokéCenter" Ash replied. Ash and Pikachu turned a corner and saw a small PokéCenter about a block ahead of them.

Ash had just finished checking out a room in the Pokémon Center, when he walked over to a PC at called his mother.

"Hello?" Delia, Ash's mom, asked "Hi mom" Ash replied. "Ash! Hello there honey I guess you made it to Kalos finally!" "Yeah, I did" "Did you check out a room yet?" "Yes, mom, I did." "Hows Pikachu?" "Good." "So is an-" "Mom, enough questions!" Ash cut her off. "Sorry honey, I was just worried about you. You know, this is the 6th region you've been to." Delia replied. "Sorry mom, I have to go, Nurse Joy is calling me. I love you!" "I love you to, Ash."

Ash hung up the phone and sighed. His mom was sooo over protective sometimes. He walked over to Nurse Joy. "Is Pikachu ok?" he asked. "Yes he's, fine." Nurse Joy replied. "So why did you call me?" Ash questioned. "I have a note for you."

Ash tore open the envelope. It read:

Dear Ash,

If you are reading this, that means you have been chosen to embark on a important journey along with 5 other people. This journey will determine the fate of the Earth and even though this might sound very confusing, Nurse Joy will provide you with more information.

Professor Acacia

"Pika?" Pikachu asked, as he jumped on to Ash's shoulder. "Nurse Joy...What..is this?" Ash asked VERY confused. "Well Professor Acacia has asked you too go on this quest...and...do you accept?" Nurse Joy replied. "I need more information" Ash said slowly "Who are these five other participants?" "Well there names are Drew Carter, May Maple, Dawn Leaf, Paul Veil, and Misty Waterflower.

I froze.
