Hello possible readers (No reviewers yet) This is the promised chapter to Pokemon: An Unexpected Adventure! Sorry for my bad writing beforehand, this story was written when I was 12 or 11. Also, the individual sentences/questions at the beginnings of the chapters are chapter names, I was just too lazy to write them in on the chapter thingies. So, here's the new chapter!

I've got a new friend.

After her battle with Buneary, Pecha decided to head to their campsite, which was in the middle of a big clearing surrounded by woods. Halfway there, she changed her mind and decided to take a forest stroll.

She entered the forest alone, and felt guilty, despite her beautiful surroundings. I shouldn't have acted like I did.

The luxurious green branches shadowed the forest floor, which had many bushes. Pecha was currently walking on a lush green path, and the grass below her feet tickled her toes. The midday sun filtered in through the canopy, sending streams of spotlights down upon the blue-eyed pikachu.

The lovely scene made her feel dirty, causing her heart to pang in shame, and Pecha regretted how she had acted towards Buneary. I need to say sorry to her, even if I don't want to.

She kicked at an acorn on the ground, sending it flying into a bush.

"Ow!" A voice yelled.

Oh! Crap! Pecha froze, ears perked and eyes alert. She got into a battle stance, knowing full well that some pokemon became very mad when they were hit with something, even if it was an accident. She used iron tail, expecting a large, enraged scolipede to burst forth from the undergrowth, but instead, a minccino walked out rubbing his head with a gray paw.

"What'd ya do that for?" He whined, looking at her, his young but even.

"Umm..." Pecha mumbled, confused.

She was saved from answering when he gasped, and ran over to Pecha. He brushed his tail all over her, kind of like sweeping her, and it tickled. Pecha giggled and fell over, rolling on the ground.

"No! You're getting dirtier!" He yelled and grabbed her by the sides, pulling her into an upright standing position. Pecha couldn't contain her laughter as he continued to swish his tail on her fur. After a few minutes, he stood back and nodded, admiring his handiwork, and then frowned. He reached out and repositioned her bow, and stepped back again.

"Your all clean now." He said, his brown eyes shining. He had a big smile plastered on his face, and he extended a paw. "Hi," He said friendly, "I'm Rawst."

Pecha took his paw and shook it. "I'm Pecha. Thanks for not attacking me."

He chuckled, still smiling, and replied, "No problem. Besides, I would never harm someone in need of a little cleaning!"

"Hey!" Pecha yapped in mock hurt, "I wasn't that dirty!"

Rawst cocked his head to the side in confused amusement, the full on smile replaced by a little curve of his lip. Pecha couldn't help herself, and she giggled at his funny expression. He joined in on the laughter, and they continued to laugh for a couple minutes. When they had finished, Pecha asked, "Hey, Rawst, do you wanna walk with me?"

"Sure," He replied, "Just make sure that we stay away from dirt and mud. I just cleaned you."

"Don't worry, I will." She chuckled.

The two then strolled through the forest, chatting as they went. They exchanged recent stories, telling each other about their lives. Though not all of their walk was just talking. When Rawst got hungry, Pecha climbed a tree and brought down two apples. When a scary pokemon came by, he pulled Pecha into the nearby bushes, and then cleaned the leaves out of their fur when the scary Pokemon left. The two became good friends, despite just meeting one another.

All too soon, the sky turned orange and the forest grew dim. Pecha had to leave and return to camp.

Aww, I don't wanna go home! She made her way to the edge of the woods. The sun was already setting behind the forest across the clearing. It sent splashes of orange, purple, and pink light across the sky, illuminating the glade below. Pecha turned around to look at Rawst, an apologetic expression in her eyes. "Sorry, Rawst, I've gotta head home."

He looked at her with sad brown eyes, "Why not stay with me in the woods. You are a forest gal, you only recently became a trainer's pokemon." He pleaded.

Pecha sighed, placed her paw on his shoulder, her blue eyes focused on his face, and replied, "Rawst, I have to go back. I've got friends there that will worry about me. If I don't come home, they'll get worried and come looking for me."

He nodded, understanding, and turned to go, but halfway through his first step, he stopped, and turned around. He rushed over and gave Pecha a big hug, before racing off into the forest, calling good-bye over his shoulder.

She returned to a sleepy camp. Cilian was drowsily cleaning up dinner, and Irish was already asleep. Ash came over and picked up Pecha, petting her before putting her down beside his discarded hat. He walked over to a soft bundle on the floor, and picked it up. Ash yawned and opened his sleeping bag, laying it down and crawling inside, bringing pikachu with him.

Pecha looked longingly towards the forest, saddened that she had had to say goodbye to her friend, before joining Ash in the sleeping bag. She snuggled up in his hair before drifting off to sleep.

When she awoke the next morning, fluffy white clouds chased each other across a pale blue sky. The sunlight was nice and warm. The grass smelt fresh and the air crisp. It was a beautiful morning.

She blinked and yawned, stretching out her arms and legs. Sighing with contentment, Pecha rolled over to find Ash and Pikachu gone. She sat up and surveyed the area. Ash, Irish, Cilan, and Pikachu were huddled around the table that was set up in the middle of camp.

Pecha scampered over and jumped on Ash's shoulder, looking down at Buneary. She was turning and moaning in pain, sinister yellow sparks dancing over her. Cilan tried in vain to help the poor girl, but nothing he did seemed to work.

"I don't know what to do, Ash." Cilan murmured in defeat, his head hung low, "And there isn't a pokemon center near here. I'm sorry, but Buneary might not survive."

Ash reached over and picked up Buneary, holding her close in his arms. Pecha stared in horror. I did this. I have to do something!

Before the three humans could notice her, Pecha sped off towards the woods, tears escaping her eyes. She ran and ran until she reached Rawst's tree hollow home. She climbed up the thick trunk and burst into the hole that was in it.

"Rawst! Rawst!" She yelled, shaking him in his fluffy, feather-downed nest.

He groaned and rolled over, facing her, his brown eyes cloudy with sleep.

"What is it, Pecha?" He asked, his voice groggy.

"I need your help! Didn't you say that you knew an Audino that knows healing wish?"

" Well, yeah," he replied, sitting up, "Why?"

"I need her to use it on a pokemon I know. Buneary in in a bad condition and needs help now!" She said, waving her arms to emphasize her point.

Rawst nodded his head seriously. "I'll take you to her."

Well, that's the new chapter. It's not as good as some other ones I've written, but oh well. I hope yall had fun reading this!
