I know, I know! Took me a LOOOOONG time to write this! Haven't been in the writing mood lately.
"There is many ways to die, but only one way to live!" – Arch Enemy
Lilith, the Firehawk
Marco couldn't believe his eyes. The Firehawk was a Siren. First he found the blue haired one, and now another one? How many Sirens were there on Pandora? The reason Marco was so surprised, was because Sirens mostly kept to themselves, on deserted planets. Mostly because of to get away from either those worshipping them like gods or those who saw them as a threat and therefor tried to kill them. So two Sirens on the same planet was a rarity in the galaxy. Marco had come to Pandora because of its bad reputation as a hellish planet. He had come looking for some action, maybe even an adventure. But he had never in his wild dreams seen for him to find a Siren, yet alone two.
As Marco stood there, studying the red haired Siren before him, a Badass Psycho appeared behind her. He was about to warn her, but before he could utter a word, she disappeared in thin air. "What the… where she go?" Marco thought, looking around for her, without finding her. The Badass Psycho also got surprised by her disappearance. He just stood there, with his axe raised in the air, like frozen in time. A few seconds later, she appeared behind him with a fierily blast, pulverizing the Badass Psycho. Marco could feel the heat from the small hellish inferno she had created.
After things had settled down, Marco continued to just glare at her, until she finely looked at him. "Sup?" She said. Marco was about to say something, but before he could open his mouth, she fall down toward the floor, like she had passed out. Marco ran over to her, grabbing her by the arm before she could hit the ground. He helped her on her feet. "Hey! You okay?" He asked concerned. "Yeah, just exhausted. Thanks for catching me." She replied with a smile, supporting herself on his shoulder. "Can you help me over there?" She asked, pointing her finger over to one of the smaller platforms connected to the large one they were on. "Sure." Marco said as he helped her over to the platform.
As they had walked up the little stairs that led there, Marco saw a bed, or more like a field-bed, that stood in the middle of the platform. He walked her over to it and helped her sit down. "Thanks. There's a box in the shelf in the back. Open it and grab the Iridium nugget there and give it to me." The red haired girl said. He walked over to the shelf, opened the box, grabbed the Iridium nugget there and brought it to her. "Thanks." She grabbed the nugget and placed both her hands around it. Marco watched as she absorbed the Iridium into her and she started to glow purple for a few seconds. After the purple glow had disappeared, she stood up. "Ahhhh… Much better!" She smiled at Marco, who smiled back. "The name's Lilith." Lilith said reaching out her hand. "Marco." He took and shook her hand. "So, Marco, what brings you here? And in the nick of time for my part if I may add."
"I came looking for Roland." Marco explained. "Seen him?" "Ah... Roland. Yeah, he was here just before…" Lilith started, but was cut off by voices shouting. "There she is! Let get her for good this time!" A bandit shouted and pointed at them. He started running at full speed toward them, shortly followed by his brothers-in-crime. "Tell you after we have dealt with these crazy fucks!" Lilith said before she disappeared in thin air right in front of him. "Save some for me!" Marco grinded as he joined the fight.
After the short and bloody fight, which had scattered most of the bandits all over the place, Lilith told Marco what had happened to Roland. "The Bloodshots have him. They grabbed him while I was busy fighting my ass off and ran off to their stronghold." Lilith explained. "Great! More work to do!" Marco said annoyed. "Don't worry; I can teleport you there in no time! Just stand still." Lilith said as she closed her eyes and lifted her arms toward him. She started to glow purple again and without any warning; a huge purple explosion engulfed Marco. He held his arms up in front of his eyes to cover them from the bright light. As the light disappeared, he saw he wasn't where he had been a second ago.
But on the other side, he hadn't move much either. "Hmmm… Looks like I only move you like… ten feet. Oh well… You better get moving if you want to save Roland! I'll head back to Sanctuary, waiting for you guys." Lilith said, before she ran off toward the Crimson Raiders HQ. "I didn't sign up for this shit!" Marco thought as he started his long walk toward the Bloodshots stronghold.
