Not too happy with this, but someone who liked it was nice enough to me through PMs that I felt motivated enough to piece something together.

Not very good, mind you.

For MySweetYaoi49. Couldn't get you cookies in return. Will this suffice?

Disclaimer: No, I don't own anything.

Hiccup looked back at the mountainous best that was the Red Death...though the word 'mountainous' was an understatement.

He had already wracked his brain for ways on how to beat this monster. He tried to trap it inside dragon island, he broke free, he tried to bury it in stones and rubble, it shook it off, he tried to do the same he did before...it seemed smart enough give them that opening, only breathing fire when they were at a blind spot.

Hiccup was smart enough to know when the situation was hopeless.

"I'm sorry, buddy." He said, leaning down to rub the top of his head affectionately, even in the heat of the battle. "I dragged you into this..."

Toothless managed to purr lightly back at him, though he swiped his head to slap one of his ears at him in reprimand.

"Gah! Okay, okay, I get it..." Hiccup said, rubbing his cheek. "The least we can do is deal as much damage before we go out..."

He looked back again, trying to look for an opening with a large enough damage score.

"It's the wings and the tail fin you want." He remembered Gobber saying, long ago during dragon fighting class. "A down dragon, is a dead dragon."

He saw the enormously large wings beating the clouds away, and his mind sparked an idea.

"Toothless!" he leaned down make eye contact with his dragon, and he understood his plan perfectly.

In one swift motion, the night fury flew back, rounding on the larger dragon. Expertly avoiding the bites the Red Death dealt into empty air, he raised himself enough for Hiccup to jump off his own dragon and land onto the enemies.

"Thanks, bud." He whispered. Holding on for dear life, he tried to maneuver his way on the dragon's back, as the head tried to breath fire on him. Somehow, he managed to make his way to it's side, his feet dangling dangerously hundreds of feet above sea level.

However, Toothless, trying to guard his rider from afar, had flown too close. Seizing this opportunity, the Red Death swiped him away with one, powerful claw, and with a growl the nigh fury started to fall to the ground.

"TOOTHLESS!" Hiccup yelled desperately, one hand reaching out to him, his eyes stinging with tears. "No..."

Forcefully, he continued to make his way to his target, the dragon's wings, ignoring the hole in his chest. He would be joining Toothless soon, hopefully at the gates of Valhala. But the dragon had somehow felt him, and with a jolt, Hiccup lost his grip on the dragon and slipped, falling thousands of feet below.

'In the end...' he thought miserably to himself as he closed his eyes '...it still wasn't enough.'

But then, strangely, he felt a dragon's claw snatch him from the air around his middle, and he opened his eyes to look up into the face of a flying Deadly Nadder.

"Astrid?!" He yelled in surprise.

"Geez, Hiccup!" A male voice said, playful and arrogant. "You should get your eyes checked!"

A mop of white hair grinning mischievously at him peaked out from the top. "Jack?!"

"Hiccup!" two other voices shouted out, both female, and he turned his head to see two princesses on dragons, the blonde on a Gronckle, the redhead on a Monstrous Nightmare.

"Merida?! Rapunzel?!"

"Hey, Hic!" Jack said gleefully. "Head's up!"

"Wha - " he didn't get to finish that sentence, for the claw clutching him suddenly released, and he was falling...again...!

...until he landed on a familiar, black scaled dragon.

"Toothless!" he said happily, petting the night fury.

" 'es two dragons managed to soften up 'is fall." Merida said, flying close to him.

He was about to respond when a hard metal slab made contact with his shoulder from behind, and he turned around, to see Rapunzel holding her famous frying pan at him menacingly.

"That was for leaving us."

He was about to respond when another blow hit his other shoulder, but this time, coming from the other girl.

"That was fer thinkin' ye could handle that monster alone!"

He sighed and was about to explain himself when he felt himself being slapped at the back of his head. Seeing that neither girls were in a position to reach him, he looked up to see the famous winter spirit, hanging by his staff from the Nadder's neck.

"What is this? 'Take Your Anger Out On The Fishbone' Day?"

"Nah." Jack said lazily. "I just didn't want to be the only one not to pick on you, dragon boy."

With a dramatic sigh, he leaned back on Toothless until he was lying down, covering his face in annoyance. He almost dies, then gets rescued, then gets punched three times!

A tap on his shoulder and he opened his eyes to see the faces of his three friends, looking at him expectantly.

"So, what's the plan?"

Now, that, is the 'THE END'. xD
