Chapter 10

All officers were present there. There were strict orders from their boss as the case was reopened due to the entry of Nakul and indeed it was a high profile case.

ACP Pradyuman entered bureau and all officers greeted him. He glanced at all and asked "sare sabot jo mangaye the headquarters se vo agye kya?". On that senior inspector Abhijeet replied "Ha sir aa gye hai…aaj subah hi unke officer ne lake diye..". He nodded positively and ordered his officers to recheck all the proofs and also show them to him.

Senior Inspector Daya said "Sir, ye footage hai jo 2 saal pehle us mele ke cctv camera se liya tha. Waho jo kuch bhi hua vo sab isme recorded hai ".

ACP keenly had a look at that cd and thoughtfully said "ye footage phirse chalao. Hume ye fhirse dekhna padega..agar ye nakul hai to jo mara vo kaun tha?...ye adla badly hui kab aur kaise..?..Daya….chalao ye cd.."

Daya switched on the projector. The scenewhere Nakul was running and Prithviraj trying to catch him was seen. As nakul climbed the giant wheel prithviraj also climbed it and caught nakul. Both fell on the heap of clothes which was on the ground. In the mean time ACP came and said "Mara kyu nai ise..". Prithviraj was shocked as how can a father speak such words about his son. Prithviraj replied "sir..ye apka beta hai….aap aisa kaise bol sakte hai iske bare main..?".

ACP said in rage "ye ek gunhegar hai….ek deshdrohi…..ye mera beta nai hai…"

It was clearly seen that nakul was badly hurt by this statement. And in a fit of rage he shot his father on his arm and tried to escape and at the next moment he was shot twice on his back. He turned back and was shocked to see that the one who shot him was none other than his own father and fell unconscious on ground.

ACP had tears in his eyes by watching this footage. Purvi felt pinch in her heart when ACP shot nakul. She felt as if somebody shot her. ACP composed himself and so did purvi. As they did not get any clue from this footage they moved towards another proof.

In the mean time nobody knew that there was one more person who saw the footage. He was shocked. He his heart cried. He silently left the bureau. But this did not go unnoticed by Purvi. She knew what exactly he felt at this moment. She called his best friend Prithviraj and told about the same. Prithviraj said "Purvi….ye ek na ek din ho na hi tha…nakul bahot hurt hua hoga….ab hume hi use sambhalna hoga….". Purvi and Prithviraj ended their conversation shortly. Purvi knew where exactly he would be now. She went from there immediately, took her car and speeded towards a place where she knew that he will be there.

He was standing on the cliff. He was hurt. Very badly hurt. He never ever expected this from his father. Now he understood why prithviraj always stopped him from coming to Mumbai. He was hurt to such an extent that tears also refused to fall. Suddenly he felt a pair of hands on his shoulders. He turned and was surprised to see his love in front of him. Both did not utter a single word. He slowly moved closer to her and hugged her tightly. Tears started rolling his eyes which made her shoulders wet. She also had tears in her eyes. She was pacifying him. Both did not know how much time they stood their silently in each other's arms.
