When Skye is Happy (also known as the Epilogue):

Skye looked off at the sunset from the cargo door of the plane. Everyone was too busy rushing around to bother with her too much. She used her time to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Ever since Coulson found out that she knew that he knew that he was her father, he had Ward kick up her training. He had told her he wasn't going to lose his little girl to people like Raina's organization and the Clairvoyant, who wanted her to experiment on. Ward had agreed with Coulson, much to her disappointment.

"What are you thinking about?"

"Hmm?" Skye glanced up at Ward, Jemma, and Fitz, who were all standing behind her. "Oh, nothing. Just… I'm happy." She grinned really big at them all.

FitzSimmons smiled back at her. "It has been nice and quiet lately, hasn't it?" Simmons shrugged, "Well, back to work for me. Fitz, you coming?"

The Scot followed after her like a puppy. Ward gave a rare chuckle and sat down beside her. Without a word, she snuggled closer to him, their fingers intertwining. He kissed the top of her head, letting her tilt her head back to capture her lips. Things were good and Jemma was right. Things were quiet.

Little did she know, things wouldn't be quiet for long.

The End.

Here's the deal. I don't know if I can write a sequel for the Locket at this time because with the direction the show has taken, I don't want this story to take the same direction. In this story, I never planned on (*spoilers*) Ward being a genuine bad guy. Therefore, I'm ending this here and maybe at some unspecified date in the hopefully near future, they will redeem Ward on the show. Until then, it's been a fun trip. I might do some prequels for the Locketverse so look for those in the future.

Thank you to all the loyal readers. And that you everyone for your reviews. They were very encouraging.
