Oh my gosh guys, I am soooo sorry. I didn't realize two whole months had already gone by since my last update.

Here's the next chapter. Enjoy.

Chapter 8

Po and Rong circled each other in the middle of the training hall. Rong soon became impatient and charged towards the panda, who swiftly dodged the leopard's attack. Rong growled in anger and continued to attack the panda, who kept dodging and blocking his attacks.

"What is your deal, man?" Po asked as he continued to dodge and block Rong's attacks.

"I will not be bested by a panda! No one has ever said no to Rong! Master Tigress should be with me!" Rong exclaimed as he continued to attack Po, who had not made an attempt to attack the leopard.

"Yea, well, she didn't chose you. So deal with it." Po replied, earning him an angry growl from the leopard. Po was a little surprised and confused, that with all the anger Rong was fighting with, that he had not used his claws. Guess even he has a little sense of honor and respect.

The two continued to fight as Po kept blocking and dodging attacks, while Rong kept trying to injure him, but failing at getting an opening. He was beginning to tire out.

"I don't want to fight you… uh, Rong? Was it?" Po stated, as the, now weakened, leopard continued to attack.

"Good. Then make it easier for both of us and let me win!" Rong exclaimed as he weakly kicked the panda in the stomach, which caused him to bounce back a little away from the bear.

"You know very well I can't do that." Po replied. "Why do you want her so badly anyway? You hardly know her."

Rong stopped his attacks and gave Po a sadistic grin. "Tch. What's there to know about a woman who can produce a strong heir for any guy looking to have one?"

Everyone gasped in surprise at what they just heard. Tigress and Shifu were angrier though, both growling softly from what they heard.

Po stopped defending and put his arms at his sides. Standing up straight and facing the leopard, leaving himself vulnerable for an attack.

"Come again?" Po asked. On the outside he looked calm, but on the inside, his anger was rising.

"I needed someone to carry on my legacy. And not just anyone, but my own flesh and blood. So I've been on the hunt for someone who could produce me a strong heir. Those I found weren't worthy enough. Then, when I heard that the Match Makers were looking for potential partners for THE Master Tigress, I knew I had found what I was looking for. Of all the women in all of China, Master Tigress would be the perfect candidate." Rong explained, with a confident cocky grin.

Tigress was ready to jump in and rip Rong limb from limb, but managed to hold herself back and decided to wait till the fight was over for her to have her way with the leopard.

"So," Po started, clenching and unclenching his fists as he glared at the leopard. "That's all this was about? To find a woman you could take advantage of until she can produce a strong heir for you? Nothing else?"

"Tch. Of course. What else are women useful for?"

Tigress' anger was flaring now and so were Shifu's and Po's.

"I suggest you take back what you said and leave." Po said, as he turned to walk away.

"No way, panda! And I'm not leaving till I get what I want." Rong exclaimed as he rushed over to Po, ready to attack. When he sent his fist forward, what happened surprised him, as well as the Masters. Rong's fist seemed to have gone right through the panda. What surprised him even more, was that he felt no contact.

"What the?"

"Last chance Rong. Take back what you said and leave." Rong heard from behind him. The leopard swiftly turned around and did a jump backward to put some distance when he saw the panda had appeared behind him.

"How… how did you…" Rong growled and attacked again. This time Po caught his fist and held in tightly in his paw. He then twisted his arms behind his back, leaving the leopard with no way to escape.

"Listen here, Rong. Nobody talks about my Tigress like that and gets away with it. If this were a normal fight, do you know what would have happened?" Po sternly whispered. Rong shook his head as he grunted in pain when Po tightened his grip.

"Look over at our spectators. What do you see?"

Rong did as he was told and what he saw made his ego shrink down to a helpless kitten. The Masters appeared to be furious, but none more so than Tigress. If looks could kill, he'd be dead by now.

Rong whimpered.

"You see that look? That 'intent to kill' look. No matter how angry she's gotten toward me, she's never given me that look. Do you know what's keeping her back from attacking you?"

Rong thought for a moment, then his eyes widened in realization. "Our fight.' he whispered.

"That's right. This fight is to determine whether or not I am worthy enough as her chosen mate. If she steps in to defend me, I will be deemed unworthy. Now… I may be holding back, but once this fight is over, she won't be doing the same."

"W-wait! You've been holding back?! I've been using my full strength." Rong admitted.

"Then quit while you're ahead. You picked a fight with the Dragon Warrior, buddy. Did you really think you could win?" Po told him.

"Hold on… You're the Dragon Warrior?" Rong asked, his eyes wide with shock.

Po raised a brow in curiosity and slight surprise. "You seriously didn't know who I was."

Rong nodded. "I thought you were just some panda who was just lucky to be able to train at the Jade Palace."

Po snorted in annoyance at the snow leopard. "Well, now you know." He stated, as the leopard continued to struggle in his grip.

"Now, I'm giving you one last chance to walk out of here, with minor injuries. Take back what you said, and leave." Po told him, as he tightened his grip on the leopard on the last word.

Rong grunted in pain. "Ok, ok. I take it back! I'm sorry!"

"Do you forfeit?" Po asked, still holding on to the leopard.

"I forfeit!" Rong exclaimed. Po let go of him and he immediately began to rub his wrist.

"Good. This fight is over." Po stated, as he turned and began to walk away.

Rong continued to rub his wrists as he glared as the retreating panda. He gave a soft angry growl.

"Is the fight over?" Tigress asked through clenched teeth and low growl. She was more than ready to give the snow leopard a piece of her mind… with her fists. Shifu swiftly placed his staff across in front of the tiger, as to tell her not to jump in as of yet.

"Rong may have said he forfeits, and Po may have confirmed the end of the fight, but I don't think it's over just yet." Shifu informed her.

The Masters stood and watched to see what would happen next.

Rong growled as he watched Po walk away. "I don't care if you're the Dragon Warrior." He mumbled to himself. "I refused to be bested by a PANDA!" he yelled then roared as he made a dash toward the retreating panda.

Po sighed and stopped in his tracks. He knew this would happen. He sidestepped, dodging the leopards attack, then swiftly used the nerve attack on him. Rong became paralyzed and collapse to the floor. Po walked over to the leopard and stood in front of him. The only part of his body able to move were his eyes, which were shifted to the direction of the panda.

"I warned you, Rong." Po sternly stated. "This fight is over." He then walked away from the leopard to where the others stood. When he got to them, he saw that they were all scowling towards the paralyzed leopard.

"Guys?" Po called to get their attention.

"Oh! Po! Great job out there." Viper swiftly turned to congratulate the panda. Though she was smiling toward him, the scowl never really left her face. It was the same with the others when they turned their attention to him, but he completely understood.

"Awesome job out there, buddy." Monkey told him.

The other's congratulated him as well. Po thanked them. Tigress and Shifu approached him.

"Excellent work, Po." Shifu congratulated the panda.

"You had me worried for a while there, panda." Tigress smiled towards him.

Po chuckled. "I knew what was at stake, Ti. No way was I going to let him win."

"I'm glad to hear that." Tigress replied. She then looked to the leopard. She scowled and flatten her ears. "Could you excuse me for a few minutes, Po?" she muttered angrily. But before she could go anywhere, Po wrapped his arms around her waist from the back to keep her doing what he knew she would do.

"Po, let go of me!" Tigress yelled as she tried to get out of the panda's grasp. Now she really was surprised at his strength.

"It's ok, Ti." Po whispered in her ear, holding her close. "He's not worth it. Besides, with the state he's in now, you'd have an unfair advantage."

Tigress growled in annoyance, knowing that the panda was right.

"Besides, I have something I want to show you." He said, as he turned her around to face him. "And I think Master Shifu would like to have a few words with Rong." Po grinned, looking down at the Grandmaster.

"Indeed, Dragon Warrior." Shifu replied, tightening his grip on his staff. "You two go on ahead."

Po nodded and led Tigress out of the training hall. Once they were out and the doors closed, Shifu made his way over to the still paralyzed snow leopard. The rest of the five stayed with Shifu, wanting to see what he would do.

Shifu stood in front of Rong and glared down at him. Rong's eyes were looking up at the red panda.

"The Dragon Warrior may have gone easy on you," Shifu began, tightening his grip on his staff. "But I promise you, I won't be doing the same."

Rong gulp and whimpered at that.

The next chapter might be the last chapter of this story. However, I am thinking of writing a sequel where Rong gets revenge on the Masters. If you would like to see a sequel to this, please say so in your review.
