The next day I am woken up by someone gently shaking me. For a split second I think I'm back in Forks and I'm confused. Because Bella never gently wakes me up, she throws water on me or yells at me. As I slowly open my eyes I see a pair of crimson red eyes staring back at me and when my eyes fully open I'm met with the sight of Caius. I smile softly as the events of yesterday come back to me. I'm still a little sad that my sister left me here, but I am so happy that I have Caius in my life now. I say, "Good morning, Caius." He smiles and says, "Good morning, my love." He's definitely going to take some getting used to, but I think he'll be worth the change. Caius tells me, "Eat quickly so you can go get ready my darling Jane is going to take you shopping soon." He places a tray on the bed in front of me it has waffles and bacon on it with syrup and apple juice,

I say, "Um, Caius the only clothes I have are the ones I'm wearing. We didn't pack for this trip. I am as ready as I can be." He shakes his head and tells me, "I had Jane bring down some clothes for you to change into. The clothes are in the bathroom along with a new toothbrush and toothpaste. So eat quickly so you can go get ready." I do as he asked and start eating my food. I eat as quickly as I can then hurry into the bathroom to get ready. There is a red summer dress with a pretty floral design on it. I change out of my clothes into the dress. The shoes with white wedges and I loved them. I eased the shoes onto my feet. I see a hairbrush next the toothpaste and I use it to fix my mess of hair. After that is done I brush my teeth quickly and rush out of the bathroom.

When I walk back into my new room I say, "I'm ready." Caius stands from my bed and says, "You look beautiful my love." I smile and say, "Thank you my king." He smiles down at me and says, "Let's get you to Jane, so you can get shopping." I nod as he takes my hand and leads us out of my room. We head down the long hallway towards the entrance of the castle. When we get to the entrance I see Jane, Alec, and Felix standing there. Caius says, "Jane is going to take you shopping and Alec and Felix are going to watch over you. Jane has my card so don't worry about money. It is a cloudy day so no need to worry about being spotted go and have fun." He then gently kisses my forehead as I say, "Thank you Caius. I will see you when we return." He nods and I follow the three vampires out of the castle.

I had so much fun on the shopping trip with Jane. We bought so many extravagant clothes, all the newest electronics, the best brands of makeup, the best lotions, the most amazing perfumes, movies, games, books, and hair products. Every time I wanted to stop Jane threatened to call Caius. And after the first call where he threatened to come here and shop for me I did not want to risk that. I'm not exactly comfortable spending his money, but I think arguing isn't in my best interest at this point. I also got to know Jane, Alec and Felix pretty well and I just adore them so much. Jane is hard on the outside, but on the inside she is just a sweet girl who was tormented into being what she needed to be to protect herself. Alec is quiet and reserved, but he can be outgoing when you get to know him. Felix is big and scary, but he's also a big goof ball. The best part of this shopping trip was becoming closer with those three.

When we returned to the castle Caius was waiting right where we left him. I walk up to him and ask, "Were you waiting here the whole time my king?" He smirks at me and says, "No my love. I was getting things done with my brothers, but I won't lie and say I wasn't anxious for your return. Come let's get you something to eat while they get your purchases put away for you." I say, "Oh, no I can put them away." Jane shakes her head and says, "No, we insist. Plus we can do it faster." I sigh and say, "Very well then. Thank you." They nod and take off with vampire speed. That might get a little annoying.

I turn to Caius and say, "Lead the way." He takes my hand and leads us to the kitchen. He asks, "How was your day my darling?" I smile and say, "It was so much fun. Jane took me to some really beautiful stores. I've never owned so many new and extravagant things in my life. Alec and Felix are hilarious too. I really like those three. They are so much fun." He smiles softly at me as he says, "Well I'm glad you had fun. Now let's get you some food and then we can go spend some time relaxing before you have to start school back next week." I look at him and ask, "School?" He informs me, "Well not school, but we will be having a tutor coming in for you. I want you to finish your education before your turned, so you can go to college if you so choose to go."

I nod and say, "I understand. I also need to call Bella to see what she told my parents about me not being there and then I need to call my parents if I can to check in with them. Though I doubt they have noticed I'm gone." Caius looks curious as he asks, "They wouldn't notice you're gone?" I shake my head and say, "My whole life everything has been about Bella. I'm usually just an afterthought if I'm a thought at all." He wraps his arms around me and says, "No more of that. You are my queen and Bella is, but a lowly commoner compared to you. She isn't the star anymore, you are." I smile up at Caius and say, "As long as I am the star to you my king I don't care about anyone else." He leans down and kisses me softly as he says, "You my queen are the brightest star I've ever seen."
