Chapter 28

A large celebration was held two days later to honor Odin's presence again as king. Thor told me he was not ready to become king. He also told me that Loki was going to use the bifrost to go to Jotunhiem and kill the frost giants for trying to kill Odin. He even let Laufey inside the kingdom as a final act, but Laufey was killed by his own son. But now Loki is gone as well.

I was staring out at the sky on the balcony not in the mood for celebration. I was still considered princess of the realm because I was married to the son of Odin. My hair was in long curls pinned up in a heart shaped style with the rest falling down my back. My dress was still black and green and was crossed over my chest and hidden by a black cloak.

"My sister does not wish to join the feast." I hear Thor say, and I turned and looked at him.

"Not much in the mood for celebrating." I only answered and he nodded coming towards me in his grey robes.

"Loki died so you and your child could live… I still saw good in those actions and still good in him." he said. I nodded slowly and looked down at the land of Asgard.

"I look down to him, but you look down for another." I said looking up at him. "Do you miss her?"

He nodded slowly.

"With all my heart." he said and looked at me placing his hand over mine. "Our wounds will heal." I nodded looking around at the land still.

"All of Asgard knows what I am now. And yet they still do not treat me differently like I was anticipating." I said looking up at Thor who nodded.

"Yes. All of Asgard helped raise you and did not see a monster, but saw an Asgardian maiden." he told and I looked down curious of those words.

"Had Loki not have gone down this path, had chosen to continue to do good, do you think they would have accepted him." Thor looked down in thought of those words and shook his head.

"I do not know my sister." he answered and I nodded.

"I have a favor to ask you brother." I said and he looked at me with soft eyes.

"Anything." he replied and I nodded.

"I want to take up training to defend myself should anything dangerous come my way and even go into battle if I must." I said, and a wide smile came onto his lip.

"Yes of course. It would be a great honor to train you and teach you all that I know." he said and I nodded and smiled.

"I want to use my frost giant abilities as well for good to make sure everyone knows I am not my husband nor will I ever be." I said softly. He took my hands in his and nodded.

"A wise choice sister. Our training will begin when you are emotionally ready." he said. I nodded slowly before leaning in and hugging him.

"And soon you will train my son." I whispered and Thor pulled back with a smirk.

"You are so sure, how can this be you are not even showing yet." he said.

I am a boy!

I chuckled.

"A mother always knows." I replied. Thor only chuckled. Soon I knew I would have to tell Thor that a connection has formed with my unborn child that is so strong that I can hear its voice and it can protect me if needed. He was a frost giant and an Asgardian heir so I guess in some ways, Odin got what he wanted. Odin soon arrived and I looked at him with a smile as he smiled back.

"Father, I have been thinking…Jotunhiem no longer has a king, but it has a queen now. I wish to go back there and form an everlasting treaty between Asgard and Jotunhiem." I said and now his eyes widened with shock and now an old smile spread across his lips and he moved over to me and placed his hands on my face and kissed my forehead.

"Spoken like a true queen." he said. And that was what I am. A queen of Jotunheim and a princess of Asgard. The three of us moved down the hall back towards the celebration while we talked about how to make such plans happen. And as we did, I knew everything will change. Everything has changed.

Hi everyone so boom finished. Thanks for sticking with me through all of this, there will be a sequel but I need to rewatch the avengers so I can get a good plot going. I know the big Thor/ Loki fight wasn't really in here, but it's because everyone who has seen Thor knows what happened so I wasn't going to waste time with what we already know. Also since Alithya is back on the market, or so we think, there is going to be a lot fighting for her attention, but also major drama. I also like that Thor has a sister in the fight just so we can see their relationship grow. So stay tuned and hope everyone enjoyed it!
