A Janto moment in a quiet Hub

A.N.: This is my first fanfic so I'm sorry if it's not good. I'm also sorry if there's too much American slang and not enough British slang. There are no spoilers just a slight reference of Doctor Who S02.12-13.

The day was long and boring. The Rift was quiet and for once, all the paperwork was up to date. Ianto had spent his whole day in the archives. He looked at his watch. Seeing it was only 4 in the afternoon, he decided to go up to the main area of the Hub.

When he got there, he saw Tosh was napping on the couch and Gwen was at her workstation. By the looks of it, she was watching a movie. Owen was nowhere to be seen but he heard noise coming from the med bay so he supposed that's where the medic was.

He went towards the kitchenette after asking Owen if he wanted coffee. To Ianto's surprise he had refused. He didn't want to wake Tosh and Gwen was about to doze off too. He made two cups and started going up the stairs to Jack's office.

He stopped at the door and saw his lover looking at some papers on his desk. No wonder Jack's the only one that hasn't caught up with his paperwork. He knocked softly on the door and walked in closing the door behind him.

Jack didn't look up but Ianto knew he was aware of his presence seeing the older man's features relaxing, as he smelled the fresh-made coffee. He put the cup on Jack's desk and watched as the man picked it up and took a sip. He was surprised when Jack put the cup back down and without a word continued working.

He started going towards the door but Jack's arm stopped him. He turned Ianto around, the man's coffee, almost turning over and the young man caught a glimpse of Jack's grin before he felt his lover's lips crush on his. When they pulled apart breathlessly, Jack put his hands on his Welshman's hips and said a quiet "thank you" before turning back to his desk, sitting on his chair, and continuing his work.

Ianto walked towards him, placed his cup next to Jack's and stood behind his chair. He bent down and put his arms around his Captain wanting to tease him. He started to fiddle with Jack's shirt and unbuttoning it slowly then sliding his hands in, he touched his lover's bare chest. He approached his lips to Jack's ear and whispered "Why don't you leave that for now?" He felt the man's heart beating faster in his chest.

Ianto pressed kisses on his lover's earlobes and neck. When Jack whispered "don't", his face fell and he stopped abruptly. Jack had probably noticed how hurt he was because he turned around and kissed him deeply. Then he explained: "I'd love to. Believe me I would but if I don't get these finished, we both know you'll kill me."

Ianto was touched that Jack thought of him even while he was working so he picked up his cup, crossed to the other side of the desk and sat down on one of the chairs. In front of him was a bowl of grapes. He decided he would finish his coffee before teasing Jack a bit more.

When he finally finished he put the mug down and started eating the grapes just the right way to turn Jack on: peeling them with his teeth and then eating them slowly. Jack was obviously trying to resist the urge to lean over the desk and kiss him. He kept his eyes down and said: "You know I'm not gonna be able to work if you keep doing that". Ianto grinned but didn't stop. He finished eating a grape and answered: " Who ever told you I want you to work right now?" Jack grinned but still didn't look up.

After a few more minutes of silence, Jack finally gave in. He locked the door to his office. They moved towards Jack's bunker not separating their lips from each other.

A few hours later, Jack woke up in sweat after a nightmare of The Year that Never Was. He laid back and watched his beautiful naked Welshman beside him. That moment was perfect and he wouldn't change it for the world.
