Rem: I can't believe this new chapter of KNB. It's fucking killing me. Damn. Sei-chan why yew do this to me. The angst. The damn angst. I loved it. And I hate myself for it. Argh. Damn the author of KNB.
Warning: Un-betaed, angst, author not writing properly, and more angst.
Tetsuya.
Clear blue cyan eyes, lips forming into one of his rare smiles as he looked at him.
Tetsuya.
Frowning, pale face dark.
Tetsuya.
One single resignation form.
Crashing disappointment.
… Why did you do this to me?
"…Kuroko Tetsuya is now a mere old prototype." These words echoed in his head, replaying like a broken recorder. Tired teal eyes opened in disbelieve, Akashi-kun had replaced him? That's impossible, right?
Were all of those memories they shared in their Teiko days really just a trick to manipulate him? To shape him into what he is?
Icy, ruthless eyes glared at the shocked male, "You've disappointed me, Tetsuya."
Was this how it would end? His heart was broken, but considering how he had left the captain in the past, it wasn't really unfair.
Oh, how Kuroko wanted to doubt, and he searched the cold eyes of his beloved with his own orbs for any trace of uncertainty; he found none.
Tears welled up in his eyes, but he refused to let the traitor drops fall out of his eyes. He did not want to look weaker than he already did.
Forcing a bitter smile onto his face, he grimaced. "I guess Akashi-kun is right in this one…" His heart felt broken, as though the owner of it had brutally smashed it into the ground and trampled on all of the scattered pieces. It hurts, it hurts so much that Kuroko just wanted to die.
"I am always right, Tet-" The red head paused, "No, Kuroko."
That did it. Even the old term Akashi had used for him was gone.
Akashi-kun, did you know that you are really good at breaking people's heart?
He asked to be brought off from the game, and left without a word.
Like a robot, the ex-phantom staggered onto the rooftop of a nearby school. Ironically, it looked much like Teiko.
He sat down, and then everything came crashing down on him.
No more will there be smiled exchanged in-between Akashi and him. No more will there be chaste kisses whenever they meet. No more will they hold hands like the lovers they were. No more was he the faithful shadow of the red-head captain. No more did Akashi Seijuro love him.
It was all too harsh; the pain that a few mere thoughts brought, it crashed onto him like a tsunami, drowning him in endless waves of despair.
"It hurts, Sei-kun."
Tears finally slipped down his cheeks, flowing out were not only water, but all of the hurt and betrayal the announcement of the new shadow had brought.
If he was no longer a shadow, who is he?
What is he?
The tears stopped when he realized; the world did not need a no-body.
He had not minded that the world didn't need him; as long as Akashi-kun was there, who else does he need?
But now he's gone.
Nobody needs him anymore.
He smiled bitterly; at least he could help the world get rid of another piece of trash.
His feet had brought him to the rusty railings of the rooftop, and he looked down from the dizzying height.
He leaned over, and fell.
As wind rushed pass him, Kuroko let one more tear slip pass his eyes.
Goodbye, Akashi-kun. I love you.
Rem: Well, what can I say. Please drop a reveiw and maybe a fav, cos I damn love them.
Also, anyone wants a chap two of this?
