A few weeks later, it was the babies' first birthday party. Blaine and Kurt woke up and walked into the nursery.

"Good morning." Kurt said quietly.

The six, now one year olds, started making noises when they opened their eyes and saw their daddies.

"Happy birthday my little monkeys." Blaine said happily.

Elizabeth and Emma smiled and began clapping.

Blaine and Kurt kissed each baby then changed them into their birthday onesies. After all six were changed, the two dads brought them downstairs for breakfast.

"What should we feed our now one year olds?" Blaine asked.

"I can't believe we have six one year olds. That's insane." Kurt teased, tickling Mackenzie's belly, making her laugh.

"How about some peaches?" Blaine suggested, handing Kurt a few cups of peaches.

The two dads scooped the peaches into six bowls and handed one to each child, allowing them to feed themselves.

While they were busy eating, Kurt filled their sippy cups with milk.

"You kids are going to have so much fun today." Blaine squealed with excitement. "We're going to have your birthday party today. And everyone is going to be there, grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles."

"And you get to have you're very first birthday cake." Kurt added.

"Oh and we can't forget about giving aunt Lucy her gift." Blaine reminded.

After breakfast, Blaine and Kurt gathered everything they needed for the party and loaded it into the van, they loaded the kids in. When they arrived at the designated area of the park, both men noticed a giant bounce house near their reserved pavilion.

Blaine and Kurt looked at each other, equally confused. The two got out of the car to unload when they heard a 'Surprise!' from behind them. Both men turned around and saw Sam.

"Sam! You bonehead." Blaine teased. "You nearly gave us a heart attack."

"Hey don't even joke about that." Kurt argued. "Heart attacks are in my genes."

"Sorry babe." Blaine apologized. "But what's with the surprise attack?" he asked his best friend.

"What do you think of the giant bounce house for the kids' birthday? It's a present from me to them."

Blaine and Kurt were both speechless.

"You know what, you don't have to say anything, I know they're all going to love it." Sam said, excitedly.

"Sam, that's really sweet of you-" Blaine started but was cut of by Kurt.

"But they're just starting to walk, they can barely stand without one of us holding their hands." Kurt countered.

"That's ok, the adults can go right on with them. It holds up to 300 pounds." Sam added. "Wahoo!" he shouted, running off to jump in the bounce house.

Kurt gave an evil look to his husband.

"What?" Blaine asked.

"A bounce house? For a one year old's birthday party?" Kurt asked.

Blaine shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe it will be fun." he replied, as he held Cory in his arms and bounced him slightly. "Right Cory?" he asked, earning a little laugh.

"Come on, let's get the kids out of the car and everything set up." Kurt insisted.

While Kurt and Blaine were setting up, Sam took the babies into the bounce house.

"I think that's about everything." said Kurt, stepping back to admire their work.

Blaine looked around and nodded. "I can't believe their one! Has it been a year already?"

Kurt sighed. "I know. They're going to be walking soon and before you know it they'll be in preschool."

Blaine laughed. "Let's not rush things."

Kurt hugged his husband and kissed him on the cheek. "Let's go see what our little monsters are up to."

"With Sam, you never know." Blaine added.

When they walked over to the bounce house Kurt and Blaine nearly burst out laughing. Sam was on the bouncy floor covered in six tiny bodies.

"Help me! Help me! I'm being attacked by six tiny humans!" Sam panted.

Blaine and Kurt looked at each and instantly knew what the other was thinking. They quickly took off their shoes and jumped inside.

"Ahhhh!" Sam screamed.

After playing 'Attack Uncle Sam' the three adults wrangled up the kids, scooped them out of the bounce house and brought them back to the pavilion.

Guests started to arrive. First was Burt and Carole, Jack and Kate, and Cooper, then Finn, Rachel and Christopher. While the family had time some time to spend with the babies before everyone else got there, Lucy was the of the last of the family members to show.

"Hi everyone." she smiled. "Happy birthday my little peanuts."

"We're really glad you could make it Lucy." Blaine said softly into her ear.

Lucy just nodded.

"In fact, before everyone else shows up, the kids have a very special surprise for you." Blaine added.

"For me? It's not my birthday." she commented.

"We know that, but if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be celebrated the lives of these six beautiful children today." Kurt insisted, handing her a small jewelry box.

Lucy wiped away a few tears and opened the box. Inside was a beautiful gold ring with each of the babies' names on it and their birthstone.

"It's beautiful." she cried. "Thank you."

Blaine and Kurt each gave her a hug.

Soon more and more people began to arrive.

Everyone enjoyed the party. There was eating, talking, laughing, holding babies and playing in the bounce house.

"Ok everyone, we're going to sing happy birthday!" Blaine announced.

The babies were placed in their highchairs.

"Before we start singing, Blaine and I would like to thank everyone for coming out and helping celebrate the babies' first birthday." Kurt started.

"Thank you everyone, especially Lucy," Blaine added. "Without you we wouldn't be where we are now. So thank you."

Lucy simply nodded her thanks as everyone raised their cups.

"All right time to sing happy birthday." Kurt exclaimed.

While everyone began to sing, Burt, Carole, Jack, Kate, and Cooper brought out the six individual cakes. Each cake was shaped as a toy block and had each child's name on it.

Happy Birthday to you,

Happy Birthday to you,

Happy Birthday dear

Cory, Elizabeth, Emma,

Devon, Henry, and Mackenzie,

Happy Birthday to you!

After everyone finished singing, the babies enjoyed their first taste of birthday cake. All of the party guests started to take pictures.

"Is that good?" Kurt asked Henry, who didn't seem to be enjoying his dessert. Kurt grabbed a fork and tried feeding his son some cake. Henry didn't seem to enjoy the cake very much.

"Aww, you don't like, huh buddy?" Kurt cooed, handing him a sippy cup.

While Henry didn't seem to enjoy his cake, Devon and Cory began smashing the top of their cakes, where as Elizabeth, Emma and Mackenzie weren't sure what to do with the giant block of cake in front of them.

"Here Emma, do this." Blaine insisted, as he took her small hand and smashed it on top of the cake.

Emma looked at her hand, still unsure of what to do.

Blaine then took some icing and spread it on Elizabeth's nose, making her laugh. He looked over to Mackenzie and did the same thing, earning a smile.

The rest of the party continued. Guests were leaving sporadically and the babies were becoming tired and fussy. That was both Blaine and Kurt's clue that the six of them had enough. Both grandparents help clean up and pack everything into the car. Today would be a day the two dads wouldn't soon forget.

And the you have it. THE END.

Please leave a lovely review for me to wake up to in the morning. And as always follow and favorite.

And please keep an eye out for more stories and updates that will be coming out soon.
